Help fixing CM 13 Audio problem(noise in the background) - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi I've installed a CM13 based ROM on my D805 and sound quality is terrible.
I managed to fix the low volume bug and now it sounds loud enough!
The main problem is the noise. There's an extreme hiss noise in the background (especially in low volumes) which is very annoying while listening to music with low volumes.
I've tried installing V4A and AudioFX but no help.
I've also replaced the mixer paths with stock mixer paths but still no difference.
So is there anyway to fix this problem?
I would be very pleased if you could help me solve this issue!:highfive:

[Q] Handset Speak Distortion

I hope this hasn't already be posted, I looked hard.
I've recently upgraded to the official 2.2 release, then replaced the kernel with the vodoo kernel to address the lag issue. Now when I use the handset for calls the callers voice is distorted. There is a tinny rattling like sound. Kind of the distortion you hear in the low bass range when your stereo is to loud, but this is distortion in the higher ranger, not low bass sounds. Happens at any volume level.
This doesn't happen when using the speakerphone, or ear piece, just the normal ear speak in the handset.
I'm looks through the Service Menu->Sound->Handset options but not really sure what all the setting ares.
Any help would be very much appreciated?
Thanks
John
I would flash one of the custom kernels or....... you could try galaxy tuner it allows to to equalize the sound. Worth a try
Me, I would just get one of the great roms already out there

[Q] Mahdi ROM 2.9 bad sound quality

Hello guys!
After i installed the rom, I've found that when I listen to music and the volume is at max level, the sound is at bad quality, having distortion.
I tried tweaking the sound with ViperFX, and same problem.
I even installed the googymax kernel to reduce some sound gain, and even when that is under default, the distortion is present.
I would apreciate if you could help me with this problem! Have a nice day.

Speaker Audio levels are playing very weird

Hi, I was using CRDroid (android 8.0 version) for some months before I switched to stock marshmallow rom recently.
The following issue is present In BOTH THE ROMS.
The volume levels of the speaker are very weird,
While browsing instgram some videos have excessively low volume while others have decent while some have good audible sound
Before u say that it's the users audio quality let me tell you that I compared the same videos on my cousins iPhone 6s (which has a mono speaker) and audio levels on all the videos were quite audible.
Even my YouTube and Spotify plays at very low volumes.
I used to think my speaker was damaged but then how can I explain the high volume instgram videos???
Mx player allows me to playback videos at high volumes with the help of its sw decoder but what about the rest of the places? :/
Can anyone shed some light on this???

Sound volume on headphones too low? Android 11 / Jabra Elite 7 pro

Hey guys.
Anybody else struggling with their headphones volume not being loud enough? I have a pair of jabra headphones (elite 7) that worked great until i had to start cranking the volume to the MAX on android and the sound doesn't feel loud enough. They work as intended on the computer.
How could i diagnose the issue? Haven't installed anything that might be conflicting, i think. I tried volume boosters but none worked. I tried using VLC and testing the preamp to the max, but it just distorts the sound and there's no boost. Using the internal Dolby atmos sound EQ and boosting everything to the max, does make it better but does not fix the problem.
I am on Android 11, phone is not rooted, nor it has magisk. I ran a few searches but can't seem to find anything of help. Any tips would be appreciated.

Help reducing mic gain

Hi, I have a Redmi Note 7 and audio recording quality is awful when it comes to loud music. I tried setting "unprocessed source" from open camera, but quality is still terrible.
Which settings should I change in system/vendor/etc/mixed_paths.xml in order to reduce mic gain, hoping that will help for audio distortion?
I get lost with ADC1, DEC1, RX1 etc.
Thanks!
