what i was asking was does the N9005 have a specific recovery or it's all the same for all varients of the Note 3
Yes its specific to each model n9005 N900 etc as would be seen on each recovery thread .
Don't use cwm as it is very outdated. Use twrp instead.

Why I am saying about that! go here :
http://teamw.in/project/twrp2/115
There is 4 methods to flash TWRP 2.7 -(as mentioned on official TWRP website)
1) Via GooManager app & they stated it as preferred.
2) via adb.
3) via flashing Zip on existing recovery.
4) via Odin.
So still waiting for answer which someone tried this method with success.

davekaz, can you give me the exact tutorial you used to get jasmine v6.1 installed on the verizon note 3, my note 3 has the OF1 firmware, could you tell me what version of flashfire you used ? its bugging me that i cant get this installed, when some people can
V0.30 I think flashfire..Do you have verizon account? I allowed people to get files from my dropbox but now they limited my account.. have you been on rooted 5 for a bit? Jasmine is no big difference except for xposed

Yes, the bootloader is unlocked....sort of. If you are on 5.1.1 DOK2 and above, you cannot go back to 4.4.4 or 5.0.1. See the tmobile section for guides for each version of the software but, generally, yes you can flash twrp and then a rom of your choice.

Hello all,
I have a completely stock VZW S5. Yesterday after restarting be cause it was a bit laggy it went into a boot loop. "Galaxy S5" screen comes up then about 7-10 seconds later goes black and I feel two quick vibrate pulses and it repeats.... Does this indefinitely.
I am unable to boot to normal safe mode or recovery mode. I can however boot to Download mode which brings me here.
What are your suggestions. I read somewhere that since I can boot to download it is likely a software issue. Thoughts? Suggest would be greatly appreciated.
And FWIW I am completely noob in this world of rooting so talk slowly! lol
Thank you,
Try pulling the battery then boot into recovery. From there you could try:
1. Clearing cache
2. Factory reset
If you absolutely can't boot into anything except download mode, you could try to use Odin to reload whichever ROM you were on. Good luck!

I am thinking I have toe go the Odin route. I can't boot into anything other than download.
I have a mac so that makes things more difficult. I have downloaded JODNI3 and Heimdall in preparation that I will have to go this route. However since I cannot get on my phone, I can't lookup my version I have to pick a stock ROM. And I have no idea what I would do even if I could pick it.
If you can use Odin, you can pick any stock OEM ROM.

Where can I get them? The ones I have found are from files exchange sites and the download time is 15-20hrs unless I pay $20 for a "premium" membership.
And once I find a stock ROM where can I find info on how to use JODIN3? Like what section do I upload the ROM file to??
The are several places here to find the OEM ROM you need, but I can't help you with a Mac. Again, there are instructions here on how to use Odin for a PC.
