I traded someone for this G5 and it's factory reset locked. I've looked for a way to bypass it with no luck at all. Every one has been patched. If anyone could help me out I would owe you big time. I don't know much about phones but I catch on quick. Someone please help!
you need to contact the guy you got the phone from and get his account entered
as far as I know LG G5 is not FRP bypassed and also most if not all the bypasses that used to work, are now patched
so yeah get in contact with that guy you the phone from

Search "bypass galaxy s7 frp" and get an idea on what to do, it works almost the same way but you need to find a pre July kdz firmware so you can start chrome from the welcome screen and download the frp bypass app

Hello. I bought a S5 from Ebay for Boost Mobile. Problem is that it has the Samsung Activation Lock still on. Ive done the searches all over the net and have come across URL="/watch?v=EaN13PiQbe0 ====Video"]/watch?v=EaN13PiQbe0 ====Video. I understand most of it but I can't find a workaround for the "findmymobile.samsung.com" part. Is there a way to do it on a S5. Don't Chastise Me. Im Not Nixon. I am not a crook. I paid for a phone with a clean ESN(I checked) and dont want to be stuck with a paperweight. Thanks in advance.
Searching for the S5 tutorial would have been better than the S6 ones lol

And flashing a KitKat ROM from sammobile first with ODIN works if you know the samsung account (If you locked yourself out of your own phone) for future reference
Sorry

Make your own thread instead of hijacking someone elses
Hey there,
Long time admirer, not a big poster. More of a reader. I couldnt find anything relevant to my question hence the thread.
So from what Ive gleaned on xda the G935 version can be rooted, my question is can I bypass a carrier lock through a custom ROM or would this be possible just by rooting?
A friend has a G935 that has been blocked to Optus and I was wondering if I could help him resolve the issue and help him bring it over to Telstra by some "black magic" as he calls it.
Thanks in advance for any responses
any suggestions, i have the same issue
Ive tried unlocking rooted phones before myself with no luck. Not sure if its possible without some special hardware and programs. There is a guy on here that has unlocked my sprint s7e and lg g5 before. He hooks up to u remotely and runs a program. I think he charges 15$ and it works 100% till u factory reset. Search "sprint unlock" and u will prob run across a couple of his threads. U can ask him if your model is compatible with his method
He can unlock without rooting your phone
Hello
I in huge need for you help guys. I bought Moto Z Force 1650-02. After I got I just checked for new Android as always and updated it to 7.1.1 version with 1 september security patch. After that I just facory reset as always. After that my phone want to log on for Google account which was last used in this phone. Seller dont want to tell me what should I type there and he doesnt know about something like FRP either.
So I tried every possible way to bypass FRP and everything Ive done is that I dont have Wi-Fi now and no signal for SimCard. I cant just give phone for warranty because this is Verizon exclusive and im from Poland. For know its just 400 euro wasted.
Pls Help me what can I do with this FRP thing?
Ok I bypassed FRP by myself and everyting is ok except Wi-Fi. It just cant turn on. Any ideas?

How did you Bypass FRP?
I have the same phone.
I have been trying without any luck.
Thanks
You can find step by step instructions on bypassing FRP here: http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=755326&st=700#entry63511470
Just use google translate if you don't understand Russian. Hope link to the needed files there is still active.

it is better to create new thread and share guide in english so everyone can understand easily without getting into any trouble.
Hi. I purchased a preowned Samsung Galaxy S8 and I am not able to get it running. The phone has factory reset protection and it asks me for owners google account. The seller does not want to provide me with that info because of privacy issues. He said that he deactivated that option through google account, but it did not help. I've tried all the methods that I found on YouTube and through google but none of them seem to work. - the "two finger" method turns on voice assistance but does not enter Tapatalk menu
- the setting method does not work wither because I do not have the "help & feedback" menu
- others like installing SideSync on PC and connecting phone through usb, nor any other that I found online did work
I also tried to call Samsung support but they are asking $70 for unlocking and I would need a proof of purchase with IMEI address, but the seller did not include IMEI, anyways its to expensive.
I went to some phone repair stores but they were asking from proof of purchase from Samsung authorized store, they did not accept eBay...
It's an unlocked T-Mobile version Samsung Galaxy S8 SM-G950U running android 8.0.0.
This is whats the Android Recovery menu showing - 8.0.0/R16NW/G950USQU5CRK1
Is there any new/working way to unlock this brick?

have the previous owner call google. they can track the IMEI and verify the previous owners credentials allowing them to release the FRP lock and making you the full complete owner now

discussing FRP unlock methods outside of googles prescribed methods are against XDA rules. Please refrain from discussing things of that nature.

I have a Samsung SM-G955U that I need to get the combination files for so that I can bypass the FRP. I legally own the phone. The guy I got it from is not at all tech savvy and he forgot the login and the prepaid number it was associated with is no longer working. I've tried the method that you can do without a computer and it seems impossible. I have flashed a lot of phones in my years so I think Odin is going to be the best way to go. The firmware I'm on is Android 8, and the actual firmware version is G955USQU5CSA4. I don't have a lot of spare time on my hands these days to dig Google for days looking for all the right stuff to flash this to bypass the FRP, so can someone PLEASE point me in the right direction? If I can just get the files I'll need, the other part will be a breeze for me. THANNKS! Any help is VERY much appreciated.
