Hi everyone,
My question : How to switch from LTE icon to 4G icon in the notification bar ?
I'm on N910C with 5.1.1 WanamLite, unfortunately the setting in wanam xposed doesn't work nor the gravitybox one.
Is there a way to do this in the build.prop ? I know it was possible on the Galaxy S4 in the past.
Or any other way editing the files but which files ?
Thanks
LTE is 4G. So which every icons shows on your device means that you have a high speed connection.
Thanks, but I know that, LTE = 4G but I prefer 4G icon (depending on which ROM you install on your phone, ie on official ROM it was showing 4G icon) and on mine it's showing LTE atm and I would like to have 4g icon instead, just because I like it much
There is an xposed module for that, just search for '4g/lte indicator switcher' in the xposed installer

Hello guys.
I just rooted my device and flashed the CloudyG3 ROM (which is working great in my phone) in an LG G2, D801 model from T-Mobile.
I have only made little changes using G2 Xposed app but a change that I rrally want to make is in the data icons that are shown in the status bar.
LTE is not available in my current location, but in home I get HSPA/HSPA+ with good speeds. My phone used to have a 4G icon when connected to H/H+ and 2G when in EDGE. Now, with this ROM I only get E and H (even not H+) in the status bar. The speeds are as good as they should be but it's about the icon shown.
Do you know an app or a way to change it?
Thanks! ??
First off check the lg g2 forums for the best answers (your in the HTC g2 forum)
Second know it could be an issue with the ROM or radio/baseband/modem or could just be the way the icons are displayed. Really you can put any icon in there you want and it won't mean 4g, so test your speeds before and after ROM flashes to be sure

Yes, sorry, I didn't notice the forum I selected. Anyways thanks for your answer. The ROM displays those icons, it's not a mistake, but I'd like to change them.
Wanam Xposed used to have a function to get rid of the arrows underneath the WiFi icon in the status bar. Since 6.0.1 Wanam switched to XTouchWiz and the feature isn't there anymore. I have looked in GravityBox and it's gone too. I just want a regular WiFi symbol to show up to tell me the strength. Don't want the arrows. I used Good Lock for a while which changed the SystemUI look completely, but reverted back as I don't like it very much.
I asked in the XTouchWiz thread a while back, but there was no response, so I'm wondering if there's a better way.
I'm on Ting in the US(uses T-Mobile networks) and was wondering if wifi calling would work.
There's this article on their website (https://help.ting.com/hc/en-us/articles/205421918-FAQ-Wi-Fi-Calling-on-GSM-Devices) that has instructions connected to it on how to enable it but would like confirmation that these menus even exist on the OP5, cause my current phone doesn't have the option unless you search it(even then it does nothing when tapped).
This isn't an urgent thing but WiFi calling would be nice to have, I don't get the best reception in my area with any carrier.
It seems like that your phone carrier is not be supported WiFi LTE
I'm on mint sim, a t mobile mvno and volte and vowifi work for me. Note the status bar showing both working.

Thanks, I was more or less looking to see a menu option for it, because I know Ting supports it.
BTW you could try an app like System UI Tuner by Zachary Wander to disable more icons than than the normal UI Tuner allows. It just requires a few ADB commands if you not rooted. I believe it supports removing VoLTE and VoWiFi icons.

Thanks, my status bar is just how I like it? And I'm not 100% sure if system ui tuner was giving me constant system ui crashes whenever I got below 15% battery.. It's happened on all 3 phones I installed system ui tuner on.. So I stopped installing it lol.
I had an att mvno that did not support vowifi/lte previously, and when I did, that menu option in my screenshot would not appear.. So should you get your op5 and those menu options not appear under sim and network settings, you'll know it's not supported .
As per title
Substratum
Substratum for Samsung
Status bar Icons for Samsung
All from Playstore
Or u can change the ROM, a Lot of custum roms over here have the option
It's in the CSCfeature.xml. you need to add the line <CscFeature_SystemUI_ConfigOverrideDataIcon>LTE</CscFeature_SystemUI_ConfigOverrideDataIcon>. I'm in the US, on TMobile and couldn't stand having the 4G icon all the time.
