Bluetooth headphones issues! - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions & Answers

When connecting to anything via Bluetooth grinds my gears. Headphones and external speakers connect fine but LITERALLY have to manually connect media audio. Call audio works fine when Bluetooth is on. Any one have similar issues.

I have no issues using my headphones (Bose OE Soundlink). I think it is your headset or maybe a software bug. I do get crackling soinds sometimes tho.

Had the same thing. I went ahead and went to the TMOBILE firmware. I'm done with At&t crap.

Audio problems when using bluetooth headset while streaming

Hello
My problem is as follows. I have paired my Motorola S9 headset with my A7 tablet without any problems. I can listen to music in my sd card with no problems but when I try and listen to music from pandora it just keeps getting cut of like if it were buffering. Does not happen with normal headsets. Tried different wifi networks and does it from all of them. On other interesting thing was that on my mifi device it would not connect as long as my headset was enabled and connected through bluetooth. As soon as I disconnect the headset it works fine.
This happened with Dextermod 1.2 as well as 1.3 with the bluetooth fix enabled.
Any ideas?

Huge audio issues!!

Hello guys, I will try and keep this short and sweet.
I have tried connecting a headset to my tablet, sound plays through speakers still, not the earpiece.
Then I tried connecting a bluetooth headset, it says connect, yet it still is playing sound through speakers and not the earpiece.
Any ideas? I am on 4.2.2, could it be the rom/root?
Hi, i had the same issue today with bluetooth headset, but in my case when I tried to connect the headset in the jack, it worked well, I solved the bluetooth issue with deleting the bluetooth headset in settings then re-pairing it, I am with 4.2.2 too on stock non root nexus 7.
Its definitely software related.
I downloaded soundabout to force sound through the headset instead of speakers and now its working fine.

[Q] Bluetooth media playing through phone speaker?

Scenario: Pair bluetooth headset to phone and ALL sounds play through phone speaker.
Troubleshooting so far: rebooted phone, unpaired/repaired, unchecked and re-checked media bluetooth options, and tried 5 diff media apps. ALL with same result of playing through phone speaker. :/ I believe it started right after this weekends OTA update...
Any other suggestions? The headset is a Logitech H800, pairs just fine w/my S2.
this just started happening to me. Verizon S4 though

[Q] Play music thru BT while Headphones plugged

Scenario I'd like to see:
Wired Headphones plugged in
Bluetooth connected to audio receiver
Music plays through audio receiver
Calls go through wired headphones
If a call comes in it pauses the music app and transfers audio to headset. As soon as call complete music continues.
I can get this to work on my Scotts Clean Rom Note 2 and iPhone 5 fine but I can't seem to find a setting or app that can allow this behavior.
Why?
I much prefer hearing music through my car speakers and if I get a call it's much easier to hear and talk through the wired headset.
Anyone else have this use case? Figured out an answer?
Just a thought since I haven't tired this yet.... What happens when you turn off phone audio(but leave media) for the car in the bluetooth settings on the phone?

Click to collapse
Gave it a try, still reverted to headphones.
Thanks though!

Bluetooth issues!

Does anyone have issues when your headphones are turned on and only call audio connects and you have to manually connect media audio. I have not clue if it's the AT&T crap firmware or something else!.
