Hello
My problem is as follows. I have paired my Motorola S9 headset with my A7 tablet without any problems. I can listen to music in my sd card with no problems but when I try and listen to music from pandora it just keeps getting cut of like if it were buffering. Does not happen with normal headsets. Tried different wifi networks and does it from all of them. On other interesting thing was that on my mifi device it would not connect as long as my headset was enabled and connected through bluetooth. As soon as I disconnect the headset it works fine.
This happened with Dextermod 1.2 as well as 1.3 with the bluetooth fix enabled.
Any ideas?

my bluetooth will pair with phones and headsets but will not connect for file transfer
Might just be me (but I doubt it)...I haven't seen an Android build yet that had OBEX. Check the changelog and feature list for your particular upgrade and see if that was offered.
I have had issues with the bluetooth as well. I bought a Motorola s705 for streaming music/speakerphone in my car. For some reason, the sound quality is CRAP and it 'hiccups' every 30 seconds or so. I tried the same device with my wife's t-mobile shadow (htc juno) running WinMo... Worked beautifully.
I'm using the .26I radio, but seriously considering going back to the old radio to see if it improves performance.
I also just tried to pair and do file transfer with my friends Blackberry and failed as well. I think beartard is right... No OBEX.
I am having issues as well. My Pioneer car stereo supports A2DP, and all is well when the thing is paired, but next time I go to use it, I get connection "Error" when connecting either HFP or A2DP. Disabling stereo bluetooth on the stereo seemed to fix HFP, but I want my Stereo bluetooth.....
Have others had much luck with A2DP?
hey thanks for the replies guys but i was looking for some answers haha
AFAIK, only A2DP and AVRCP was added in Android 1.5, so no big wonder file transfer wont work...
A2DP works like a charm with my A2DP headset - haven't tried with other devices.

Stereo Bluetooth skipping issues
If streaming music via bluetooth is skipping, turn off your wifi and that will fix your problem. I was having major anxiety over this, but found the answer last night searching forums. I tried it out and my music has not skipped since. I stream music to my car stereo and it is excellent now that I've turned my wifi off.
Is anyone having issues with this? I cannot get it to stream to the headset just the speakers.
Your question made me dig up an old jabra bt3030 that I had. With my winmo device I could never get it to work properly (audio/video sync issues, skip buttons never worked). But all functions worked with pandora (skip, play, pause). Same for media player and movie player with audio in sync. So I guess no.
good day.
Pandora works flawlessly on my Fascinate with my S9 bluetooth headset.

I figured out that you have to go in some sort of sequence. I had my bluetooth on on the phone and my bluetooth off. When I just turned my bluetooth on it would only do phone. I had to turn blue tooth off on my phone then back on and it works now.
Hello guys, I will try and keep this short and sweet.
I have tried connecting a headset to my tablet, sound plays through speakers still, not the earpiece.
Then I tried connecting a bluetooth headset, it says connect, yet it still is playing sound through speakers and not the earpiece.
Any ideas? I am on 4.2.2, could it be the rom/root?
Hi, i had the same issue today with bluetooth headset, but in my case when I tried to connect the headset in the jack, it worked well, I solved the bluetooth issue with deleting the bluetooth headset in settings then re-pairing it, I am with 4.2.2 too on stock non root nexus 7.
Its definitely software related.
I downloaded soundabout to force sound through the headset instead of speakers and now its working fine.
Hello.
I am using my S4 in car.
It connects at same time to my car hands free (Audi MMI) with Call Audio profile and it connects to my A2DP Music receiver (connected to my car IPOD cable) using A2DP profile.
This dongle supports also Call Audio profile but I have paired it using only A2DP.
Connections are good and phone always connect to both without connection issues.
Sometimes (often) when it is connected to both devices, music and sound stop playing (the player is going on with playing and with time counter but I can't hear any sound from car or from phone speaker).
If I disconnect car hands free, music starts playing from car audio speakers.
If I reconnect car hands free again, music stops playing.
When this happen, the only way I found to solve is to restart the phone and then all is ok (phone hands free and music streaming).
I have the problem with 4.3 but it was the same also with previuos 4.2.2 android version.
I think it is a phone problem since restarting always solve it.
Someone had the same problem or has any advice?
Thank you
Chris
When connecting to anything via Bluetooth grinds my gears. Headphones and external speakers connect fine but LITERALLY have to manually connect media audio. Call audio works fine when Bluetooth is on. Any one have similar issues.
I have no issues using my headphones (Bose OE Soundlink). I think it is your headset or maybe a software bug. I do get crackling soinds sometimes tho.
Had the same thing. I went ahead and went to the TMOBILE firmware. I'm done with At&t crap.
