Hi there
I've just replaced the screen of my P8 lite. I booted, everything working fine in Lollipop. so i start downloading the update to 6.0 via the updater app.
it just casually installed the update, went to the screen with percentage of how far the update is at. It finished, 100% then decides to reboot and poof, only black screen, no boot up screen or all the other stuff. Just a plain Black LED Backlight.
I've tried downloading the 6.0 to 5.0 firmware on my sdcard in dload map. when i boot the phone by holding volume +, volume - and power button, it just boots back in the black screen, not starting the update.
I've also tried other firmware the site offers.
Here is some information about my device:
Huawei P8 lite ALE-L21
Which steps should i consider taking here?
thanks in advance
Update: apparently it's just some problems with the hardware of the screen, since when i press volume +,- buttons it still makes sounds, and double tap takes a photo. But isn't it still quiet strange that right when the update hits 100% it started malfunctioning?

Hi guys, I'm from South Africa and I really need help right here!
After updating (not manually) my Huawei P8 Lite ALE-LO2 to android 6.0 it was working perfectly. A few days ago the phone started freezing and powering off, when I try powering the phone on it just flashes a red and green LED light and doesn't switch on, sometimes it does switch on but freezes on the Huawei logo. When I plug it in a charger it still flashes red and green light. Sometimes it would take me to rescue mode and says I need to re-update the system. The problem is I can't power it on, and therefore I can't do anything on the device.
Your help will be highly appreciated.
ZTE Blade A6 Lite guys help to get (root)
Good day, need help,
there is a zte blade A6 lite, everything worked fine, but then one day hung on the screen saver and cyclically started to reboot.
All firmware which found in online; it is ZTE_NMF26F_ZTE_BLADE_A 0622_7_1_1 and update
on this and neighboring forums., I can go to the standard bootloader and update with a flash drive and the update file, it picks up, and it seems even that it loads, but after rebooting the same, hanging on the screen saver and reboots.
and other firmware., recovery update can't.
Help or guide in the right direction, Thanks in Advance.

The indicator is constantly on in red, even when turned off, what could it be? Do not depend on the battery level.
Hi all,
I'm facing a curious issue with my Oneplus 5. I bought it back in July on launch day and though I have rooted and used custom ROMs on all my previous phones, I never got around to doing it on my OP5 (never felt the need, no availability of root early on etc)
I started facing a problem with my mic not registering in Google Assistant/Alexa and while on speakerphone, all while sound recording works fine in recorder apps.
Tried attempting to reset the cache from recovery,
1. On pressing vol down+power while turned off, I get nothing. No vibration or anything.
2. On trying to reboot to recovery by turning on advanced reboot, I'm greeted with the 1+ powered by android splash screen, followed by a black, blank screen. Have to long press power button to get the phone to boot again (takes quite long).
Could anyone help if they are aware of a similar issue, or any ideas to correct the problem? I'd be really grateful.
I'm on latest Oreo Stock update.

Hello everyone,
Yesterday I got my hands on an old Huawei P8 lite, it was working fine but I intended to root it and play with it a lil bit. The phone was running android 6.0 and I needed to rollback to 5.0. I flashed the rollback ROM without any problem, but then I went to flash the B170 ROM and after it was done, the phone's screen won't show anything. I can see the backlight turning on, and the phone is responsive, since it vibrates whenever I try to turn it on (the boot sound also plays) and the LED turns on whenever it's charging. However, the screen shows nothing but black. The boot logo won't show either. I'm afraid the LCD screen was damaged, but the phone didn't really suffer any kind of physical damage... it happened right after flashing the B170 ROM.
Does anyone have any tips? I've tried to boot the phone either on recovery mode or fastboot, but the screen it's still black, so I can just assume it's booting on that mode even if it doesn't show anything.
Thanks in advance
