P8 lite l21 black screen - P8lite Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone,
Yesterday I got my hands on an old Huawei P8 lite, it was working fine but I intended to root it and play with it a lil bit. The phone was running android 6.0 and I needed to rollback to 5.0. I flashed the rollback ROM without any problem, but then I went to flash the B170 ROM and after it was done, the phone's screen won't show anything. I can see the backlight turning on, and the phone is responsive, since it vibrates whenever I try to turn it on (the boot sound also plays) and the LED turns on whenever it's charging. However, the screen shows nothing but black. The boot logo won't show either. I'm afraid the LCD screen was damaged, but the phone didn't really suffer any kind of physical damage... it happened right after flashing the B170 ROM.
Does anyone have any tips? I've tried to boot the phone either on recovery mode or fastboot, but the screen it's still black, so I can just assume it's booting on that mode even if it doesn't show anything.
Thanks in advance

[Q] Need help - HK MX 030 won't boot

Hello everyone!
My brother sent me is MX 030. It is the original Meizu MX HK version with the unlocked bootloader. Two weeks ago, he found his phone had crashed. The screen was black and he powering it off and then back on would not do anything (black screen - only vibrates on power on).
I got it today and first thing I did (after charging it-the charging mode works and displays a battery logo) was boot into recovery mode (or update mode on Meizu phones) and I was able to reach the menu. It let me mount the drive onto my PC. I downloaded the latest firmware and put it on the drive. I pressed upgrade and cleared data. The software seemed to install fine, but then the phone rebooted to a black screen - again.
Then I tried installing older versions which I found on the meizu website. They all install and I can see the recovery mode is different, but they all boot into black unresponsive mode (which drains the battery).
Having had other android devices before, I feel the phone is stuck in reboot loop.. I don't know what else to try or attempt. I feel am running out of options. The fact that the phone still responds to some commands and allows me to flash firmware should indicate that the phone isn't brain dead quite yet, right? Anyone else experienced a similar situation?
Thank you,
Oli

P8 Lite won't turn on after MM update

Hi there
I've just replaced the screen of my P8 lite. I booted, everything working fine in Lollipop. so i start downloading the update to 6.0 via the updater app.
it just casually installed the update, went to the screen with percentage of how far the update is at. It finished, 100% then decides to reboot and poof, only black screen, no boot up screen or all the other stuff. Just a plain Black LED Backlight.
I've tried downloading the 6.0 to 5.0 firmware on my sdcard in dload map. when i boot the phone by holding volume +, volume - and power button, it just boots back in the black screen, not starting the update.
I've also tried other firmware the site offers.
Here is some information about my device:
Huawei P8 lite ALE-L21
Which steps should i consider taking here?
thanks in advance
Update: apparently it's just some problems with the hardware of the screen, since when i press volume +,- buttons it still makes sounds, and double tap takes a photo. But isn't it still quiet strange that right when the update hits 100% it started malfunctioning?

Help! Update failed. Now I have Black screen with stripes

I wanted to update my mothers P8 lite, but somehow the update failed. it doesn't show the logo anymore when it boots. Now it shows a black screen with stripes, it even shows stripes when I boot to fastboot or even recovery. I wonder if something is wrong with the display driver. But the phone seems to work when its boots to the system. I can hear the volume sounds when I press the buttons, only the screen is still black with white stripes. I wonder if something is wrong with the display driver.
I tried to use the huaweiextractiontool and flash the individual img. files trough fastboot of different firmwares. Exept the the display the phone seems to work normally I can still boot into fastboot, and I hear the sound when booting. But its the still a black screen with stripes, and every frimware gives a different stripe pattern.
Any idea on how to fix this?
Greetings.
Problem solved
I solved the problem by flashing agian the last working firmware. And My mashing the volume buttons agian, it booted in recovery and the screen is restored agian.

Screen turns on only in the xiaomi logo.

Hello today a screen replacement i ordered in aliexpress arrived and i did change it carefully (i did this process 2 times 1 in my phone and another in a cousin mi a1. No problems).
The thing is... after this i turn on the phone and the screen turns on but only until rom starts to load and then it comes black as if it wasn't turn on. The screen turns on also in fastboot mode but instantly shutdown when entering to recovery mode or normal boot as i said. The phone is working properly the rom loads and there is notification sounds and touch is working too.
If anyone can help me please. The only thing i can thing of is that the screen came with some strange malfunction.
EDIT: I flashed stock rom with flash_all and got the screen and everything working fine. I then tried again to flash a custom rom as i had before and screen failed to turn on again. Then i flashed stock kernel just to try if was it the cause and after this screen worked fine again but i lost wifi and probably there is other issues because of the stock kernel on a custom rom. I don't know if it may be because a different display driver or a kernel setting that may cause this malfunction. Hope someone can help me to solve this as i really want to use a custom rom.
