hi ,
was your Reactivation lock tick ( if so you have to log into Samsung account)
So i was trying to update the firmware because it told me a message saying something about custom binary blocked by frp and then it was going fine i was about 60-70% and then it told me that an error had occurred during the upgrade and i tried to recover it but then it said my device was unsupported. And now i have a blue screen saying an error has occurred while updating the device software . Please Help!!!
Trying to restore Galaxy S7 to stock via ODIN, get "Secure Check Fail: PIT" error
I have a Sprint Galaxy S7, and I'm trying to revert back to 100% stock. When I turn the phone on, at the Samsung Galaxy S7 screen it says "Custom" and shows an unlocked padlock icon. Also, once Android loads I will get this notification: "Unauthorized actions have been detected. Restart your phone to undo any unauthorized changes." So I'm wanting to restore it to stock.
I have tried following the guide here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-galaxy-s7/how-to/official-pj2-stock-firmware-t3495866, but when I press "Start" within ODIN, it will fail immediately and my phone's screen will say "Secure Check Fail: PIT"
So I'm a little lost at this point! Would appreciate some help getting me pointed in the right direction.
I solved my problem. I'm not positive, but it may be that I was accidentally using the S7 Edge stock firmware. I re-opened Odin and noticed it was pointed to an S7 Edge folder (probably from when I last used Odin on an Edge!), so I pointed to my new S7 stock download, and everything was great.
Hello everybody.
After a hard reset of my S8 + I find that when I try to access Samsung Themes I have this error message that appears "Country not supported". I mentioned that before the hard reset I had access to it. Another hard reset issue my access to Galaxy Apps is limited in application and another error message "Service unavailable".
Can anyone help me? Thank you.
Galaxy S8 + (SM-G955F).
