hello guys
{ I AM UNROOTING MY DEVICE AND GOING BACK TO THE "OFFICIAL" SYSTEM STATUS SO I CAN CLAIM THE WARRENTY AGAIN COZ I GOT SOME HARDWARE RELATED ISSUE AND I HAVE 9 MONTHS WARRENTY LEFT }
so
Is there a Way to reset My Flash Counter Coz I have flashed my stock rom several times (around 5-6 times)
I downloaded TriangleAway app and granted the superSu permission and It loaded perfectly and shows (Current counter Status "6" and Binary "Custom") thats right..but the problem is my device is not in the supported list of the TriangleAway app. So May I proceed or Try Something Else

If you ever need to reset the counter and return to stock, it's very easy. You have to use Triangle Away with the stock kernel for it to work. There's a huge tutorial on it here somewhere, do a search, you won't miss it.

Once you download Triangle Away, you will see it in the app and also will see a counter when it does the actual process from what I remember. Here are some guides I mentioned earlier.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265477
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2336392
The counter is just hidden now, if you go into settings and try to do a check for updates, they'll probably tell you it's a modified rom. If you ever need to send it in for warranty or whatever, you'll still have to revert to stock and get rid of the counter
This is the new bootloader. It has KNOX security features.
Triangle away isn't compatible with this bootloader at the moment.

Hi, I'm about to root my n910f 4.4.4 btu but I just need to know what the root "breaks".
I already know S Health is one of the things which stop working but what else (if anything)
Next question, how do you "fix" the apps so they work again while the phone is rooted?
Thank you.
Chiller.

S Health works perfectly fine after rooting. The only thing that it breaks is Knox (you won't ever be able to use knox anymore).
Shealth works of cours it breaks 2 things warranty XD and OTA ...well Knox works for me I rooted via towel root ....u can still get updates by disabling root temporary by using app on play store like root triangle away or something like that...and when u go to download mod ur Knox will trip and u can't fix that ...it won't affect u by any mean ...

How on earth did you root via towelroot on a note4?
Eh!I did to my s4 d s5..for note 4 u got to wait anyway I gave answer according to ur question press thanks if it helped may be u can try mobogenie one click root...I m not sure about triping Knox....did u try towelroot on note 4 is it supported ? Get the app and check it out..

Everything works except knox wich for the vast majority is not a problem. Warranty is a question of luck, some repair centers doesn't care about knox triped but others refuse to repair in that condition.

Why would you even suggest towelroot on the note 4 forum? This is not S4 and it may cause bricks.
Dont u get what I m saying....I answered the question then he askd for the method ...so i told him what was the way I did...man read properly before coming to an conclusion

I rooted my first Note 4 and indeed after it was rooted S Health stopped working. Because the Note 4 had more issues I returned it to the shop and they exchanged it with a new one. My new Note 4 isn't rooted because of the S Health issue.
Dude, Root doesn't break S Health. I have it rooted since the fist day I owned it and tracks my fitness perfectly. Xposed is known to break S Health and Private mode but a Module fixes it. Right now I'm running the lastest Lollipop build and everything works perfectly fine.
The only thing that breaks is Knox. So if Samsung Pay comes to our device (right now is on S6) you couldnt use it as it requires a non triggered Knox. But, In my country, i doubt Samsung/Apple/Android pay will come to my near market.
S Health working fine on my rooted Note 4 too.
Root does NOT break S-Health. Something else did that, 100% sure. Most prolly Xposed or system bug. S-Health & Private Mode should work rooted for 99.99% of the time. the other times it's just individual phones thats the cause

You loose Knox which is a very handy feature if you like to have multiple identities / accounts (facebook, instagram etc) Or if you have multiple relations with girlfriends (no spying woman) and you also loose payments with fingerprint verification (FIDO) Actually you loose anything that uses the FIDO API This is not fixable anymore when rooted
As show in the description,
I'm trying to root my new Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime+ (SM-G532F)
But all published solutions online are not working for me...
I'm up for trying new solutions/new TWRP files, I'm really desperate to get it done. I voided my warranty for nothing now, since it shows Custom in the download mode.
and I even can't get a good link to download the official firmware back to what it was (PDA: G532FXWU1APJ1 )
Any help?

Thanks, Waleed.
It seems that I rooted my G532F with a G532M root file. however the problem is that i get this message every time my device boots (set warranty bit = kernel (0))
I feel something wrong happened in here.
Any advise?

Did you try using any root app to check if it has beeb properly rooted? And that message i guess its because your warranty has been void
nothing is wrong that message just appear because the recovery changed to unofficial
use 360superroot

Although i believe it was possible once on earliar OS like jellybean ics etc by "triangle away" .
Short answer: no

knox can not be reset. in the newer handsets... note 4 and newer the knox is a physical chip on the board which trips once custom firmware or root or recovery is flashed.

Once you root you trip Knox. Afaik you can't reset it so certain apps like Samsung pay and s health will stop working. In the future there may or may not be a way to reset it.
You have to root it again and install build prop from playstore, search of a line like this ro. Config tima=1 and turn the 1 to 0 and save reboot your device and it will work

Nope, it won't.
Even if you factory reset your phone, the Samsung Knox trip will still be there, so you'll unable to use it.
Another option would be installing custom ROM that "tricks" apps into thinking that the knox is still on, but again, some apps might not work. In my case, when I still use a S7, my samsung gift app doesn't work anymore.
Well, if you really need to get S Health, I think this is the only option.
You should have done your learning before rooting. On ALL Samsung devices for the past 3-4 years, rooting was a one-way trip to trip Knox, and the only solution around that is patching the system so it thinks you still have Knox at 0x0.
Since Knox is a single eFuse that can only be written ONCE, you can NOT undo it. And you probably just lost your warranty.
I have downgraded my S Health version to 4.8 and now it works again - with knox tripped.
I used that version: http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsun...ase/s-health-4-8-0-0085-android-apk-download/
Good luck

fix S-Health and Apps Knox After Knox 1 trip
How To Fix S-Health And Apps Konx After Root OR Knox 1
Root Device
Install root Exloper Or any file exloper file system
Go To system
serach Buli.prob
open with editor or notpad++
serach for
ro.config.tima=1/2
change to
ro.config.tima=0
and save and repalce bulid
reboot device
I updated with odin to Oreo UK Fw .
All works well except S-Healt which claims that the phone is rooted (but I did not root and knox is 0/0) and does not start.
I tried to update S-Health but it does not work, and I can not install version 4.8 because I have this message: not installed
Unfortunately it is installed as a system app and I can only disable it and delete updates, but even so it works.
Tips?
I am having S8 G950F, my device is rooted with Magisk .. curently my phone is running renovate ice , i am using almost every day S health application without hiding the app from magisk, might because the rom is custom because on stock roms i think i couldnt open the app . But as the other guy said you can install a past version of S health

I can't install an older S-healt version, if I try the result is: "app not installed".
I can only install a newer version.
I try Knox status checker also, and it shows 0x0.
Is very frustrating this thing.
