Hello guys, I had the same issue on S6E+ too. Now with S7E.
Sometimes I realise gallery goes slow mode like stuttery 15-20 fps while image openin animations , clicking folders, and sliding from tabs etc so literally at every animation. There is nothing I can found to fix this except rebooting. Everything else (as I realise) works alright.
Any of you have the same issue and know how to fix other than reboot?

I will like to know if there is a issue with the two fingers zoom in and out after Gingerbread Root. I'm not able to Zoom in or out. Is this a issue with the ROM or is something in the settings?
It could be a root issue, I don't belive I have that issue on stock GB what stock root did you flash?
Well i didnt root this phone, was a friend of mine, but I have Gingerbread, Mod version CyanogenMod-7-0512211-NIGTLY-vision.
Oo I'm ruuning that on my other G2 and zoom works fine no issue here
Am i doing somthing wrong? It works with a photo in my gallery but not on my emails or web.
I don't think so really you can try to reflash rom but I don't see why you would have problems worth zoom
I found that the zoom is working, it is some apps, like Dolphin Browser that does not allow zoom because the browser pre-installed from Gingerbread is able to zoom.
You can try clearing cache and dalvik, and even data (if you don't mind setting things up again). These have been known to cause random bugs, if they weren't wiped when moving from a different ROM to CM7. I'd start with cache and dalvik, and see if that helps. Those don't really hurt anything (Android just recreates those when you reboot). Then if you still have issues, wipe data. If you are still having problems, try to re-flash the ROM as previously recommended (bad flashed sometimes happen), or try a different ROM.
How can I clean dalvik and cache?
Also found that the problem with Dolphin Browser Zoom was that the zoom option was turned off.

So what doesn't zoom now, anything? Its seems it might just be a settings issue.

Go into recovery, by powering off phone. Then holding the volume down button, press and release the power button. Keep holding vol down until the white H-Boot screen comes up. Pick recovery from the options. Once in recovery, you will see wipe dalvik and cache as options. Wipe data (if you choose to do it) is in recovery also, under advanced.
I am going to post in Incredible forum. I have found that some web pages formatted for android or mobile don't allow zooming either by pinch or on screen function. I tried the same pages with stock, Skydive and Dolphin browsers. Google news for example. Or Droid Life mobile.
Let me know your thoughts.
Hello All, jam new here.
So i have an issue with with my nexus 7.
Its not a big problem but making me nervous when something goes wrong. After I installed and used this app: screenshot ux trial, my gallery got buggy. Once I took a screenshot of gallery, all the animation in gallery now is bugged. Just after click a photo while it should zoom smoothly, it starts blinking screen, just blinking twice the older picture.
So how I can fix it. Please help.
Uninstall the app that caused the problem.

YEa, tried, still same problem.
Finnaly i deleted orginal gallery, but dont kow how to get it back, any ideas? Or maybe someone can upload dat app?
I don't know what is going on with my gallery but it's really weird. A little back story. I was originally rooted and running 4.2.2 stock but I then I saw that 4.3 was out so I used the nexus root toolkit to go back to stock, reset, apply 4.3 update, and then re-root. I also used the picture backup utility in the toolkit to backup my photos, but it didn't work and none of them were restored. After I was on 4.3, I installed the CM camera app, focal. However, when I took pictures with the app and went into my gallery and scrolled to the picture I just took it would show the picture briefly and then do a pixelated transition into one of my old pictures and the new pic was nowhere to be seen. I uninstalled the app and haven't had a problem since. Up until today. I tried to download a picture off of Google images and when I go into my gallery to see it, it isn't there. Instead, there is a picture from my gallery pre factory reset and flash of 4.3. It's almost like the pictures I'm downloading are being replaced by the ones I tried to backup and restore. When I finally got a Google image to download and save to my gallery, I'll scroll over to it and it will do the weird pixel transition into an old picture I had before I wiped. Anyone know what's happening? Or even what I'm trying to say? Thanks for any help.

After wiping the cache, I tried to go to gallery and got a message saying "no external storage." Rebooted and everything is working awesome. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
A lot of us get that error after clearing cache. A simple reboot takes care of that

Since a few Days all Pics and Vids dissapeared from Samsung Gallery. The Files do still exist, i am able to open them.in other Gallery apps. When I take a photo using camera The Preview image is displayed for a short while right beside the shutter button but gets then replaced by the orange gallery icon. when i open an image using gallery an click on detail it takes about 10 sec until something is displayed. i tried to delete, cache, data and also did a dalvik wipe and a dirty reflash. Someone out there with suggestions to fix this?
cheers

Hi all,
Sometimes, when I try to take photos with the built-in camera app, the app closes and doesn't save the picture (see the link). However, I don't know if the problem is with the camera app or gallery. Once, when this problem happened, I tried to take a picture inside WhatsApp and it worked just fine.

I bought my S10+ during Black Friday and the only other thing that caught my attention is that sometimes it requires my pin instead of my fingerprint. In my S6 it only happened when the phone restarted, but I don't know about the S10. If it is the same case then the phone is restarting randomly and that is worrisome.
Thanks in advance,
Luiz
Sounds like it might be defective and a warranty claim is needed. However, first try flashing the currenr firmware with Odin and see if that fixes it.

Are you using a theme?
I am using synergy, sometimes when a app updates it will crash, i have to remove the theme overlays and reinstall and rebuild the theme.
Also when i used ADB to remove gallery because i use Google Photos. I couldn't use the camera either so i had to reinstall Gallery. You could try uninstalling updates from the app settings and let it update again, see if the issue persists.

I may try that, as the other option of flashing the firmware is a little bit more tricky. However, I don't use any theme and it is pretty much the same as out of the box.
I confirmed with my wife and she is having the same camera problem, with the cellphone at random times asking for her pin instead of the fingerprint.
i had the same issue before and wiping cache from boot-loader solved the issue for good
