To find out which region is set dial ####5993# or ####59930# using stock dialer
To change region:
Put easyimage.zip to root of SDCard
Dial ####682# using stock dialer
I found that article in other post , I tried that code , my phone region is China and I need to change to Egypt or middle east but I can't make it , I can't find easyimage.zip file to put it in to root of sdcard , so can any one help me to do , my vibe version is : p1c58
download a rom. you will find it inside the rom along with other rom files

Hello, I tried a lot to change the language of my WM ELF 0100 from Spanish to English? Help me please.
GOTO start-->setting(Above last one)-->choose second tab on below--->then scroll down you can fing Globe icon open that.
Then you can choose your language as per your Wish

hold on!!! just go in your SGS settings first, you can change your language here.
You do not need to flash a new firmware changing the language
Go to your App Drawer, then: Settings, Locale and Text, Select Locale
There you can change your Language

Home screen, bottom right, blue square with four white squares, press.
This will take you to Apps, look for the blue square with the white cog wheel, Settings.
Press Settings, look for a white square with letter A, called Locale and text.
press this and the first option is SELECT LOCALE, set this to the language you want.

I decided to change my CMC code to ODT to match my German ROM to see if I can use Kies for updating firmware. However, now everything is in German I cannot find where the place is in settings to change to english. Can someone help me please locate the place? I am running ICS and should have made a note where in settings to change the language first. If you can open settings and give instructions how to reach the line which changes the language that would be great.

If this is not the right forum please forgive me, i'm new and mistakes can be made.
So, back to the point.
I have here an Note 3, chinese Note 3 to be precise: SM N9006,
I'ts ofcourse Chinese, i managed to change the language to English,
but the problem is i Need it in Dutch, I'ts not for me, it is for a friend of mine.
Anyone knows how to change the language? Already tried the imei thingy , that didn't work.
So where i'm now:
I want to go inside the tar file and translate everything i need to translate and ofcourse delete the bloatware,
Does anyone know how i can fix this problem? how i can open the tar file with windows without getting an error(yes did get an error when i tried to go inside the system.img file xD)?how i can translate apps inside the tar file? AND the most important question of al, how i can translate the system itself xD, by this i mean the settings, menu, etc....

If it's the SM-N9005 Unbranded version you can flash the region firmware of your choosing, SO if you go to Sammobile and choose the software for Holland it should have Dutch as language in the settings (right?)
Yes i know, the only problem is that sammobile only has the chinese firmware.
If thay had the dutch firmware i didn't encountered a problem xD.

Yup - moral of this story. Don't read forums after a nightshift! - - there is some info around on the N9006 - From what I have seen though it isn't that much different to the N9005, so a few tweaks and it should be OK.
