Roms, root, version... think of buying Note 3 some questions

Hi, currently I have galaxy s2 CM 10.1 stable build.
I want to upgrade to a newer phone with better battery life, speed and big screen.
Things that I want to know about this phone are the roms, is there stable CM version?
And which version is better the exynos or the snapdragon?
Or maybe you have a recommendation for another phone?
How are the Samsung based roms in aspects of battery life, speed and latest version?
I would be very glad for your help!

Should I downgrade to KitKat, or stay on Lollipop?

Hey, I have the N9005 and I'm on a custom rom running lollipop with touchwiz. Is it better if I downgraded to KitKat with touchwiz, but custom rom? Because I feel Lollipop UI is messed up and performance and battery life was better on KitKat... Thanks!
If you ask you have already the solution. ....you haven't find a good l rom?????
Downgrade to gingerbread
I don't feel that Lollipop is messed up, and I also know that the battery life is actually better in LP than it ever was on KK, so rather than be a sarcastic arse I would simply suggest to stay on stock LP based ROMs.
Try this
Make a backup of your current ROM.
Try a CyanogenMod 12.1(Android 5.1.1) ROM of N9005 for about a week.
If it suits your needs keep it.
If not you have your backup.
Have fun!
Edit: for me lollipop is better than kitkat in terms of battery life for both the galaxy note 4 and galaxy s5

Help selecting a kernel

Hi, I have a galaxy S5 g900V that has a stock Marshmallow ROM for T-Mobile that I de-bloated using an extreme debloater script. It works great but my battery life is less than desirable. I tried the Imperius Curse and it had great performance and battery but I could not get ADB and a few other things to go so I flashed the Phoenix kernel to fix those issues and it is very stable, reliable.
I am looking for a performance kernel that will have good battery life and be stable. I really like KTOONZ kernel on my galaxy S3 - amazing - but he says his kernel only works for g900f. Has anyone tried it on other S5 variants?
Can anyone recommend a kernel? This phone is my daily driver so "trying" kernels that have not been proven on g900v sounds too risky.
thanks!

[Q]Best TouchWiz based ROM?

I have a Galaxy S5 with the unlocked bootloader (not safestrap) and I'm wondering which TouchWiz ROM is the best for battery life and performance? I love the cm based ROMs but the camera sucks on them and the battery life isn't great either. I want at least MM for the ROM. I use this as a daily driver. Thanks in advance.

Great Kernel for SM910S in Terms of Battery Life?

I own a Korean Note 4 SM910S, running currently on Nemesis Refined, and I wanna increase my phone's battery life—one of those ways is installing a kernel.
So far there are only two kernels available for my variant—PRIME Kernel and SpaceLemon Kernel—and I wonder which is the most preferred one for battery life. Currently I'm using PRIME Kernel.
