Single CSC 4-files firmware - XEO - Galaxy A3, A5, A7, A8, A9 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

Hi
I need 4-files firmware 6.0.1 for SM-A510F with single CSC - XEO or single CSC pit-files (XEO). Who can help me ?

Use SamFirm, tick Auto and Binary, put SM-A510F and XEO on your relevant fields and download it. CSC will be separate, PIT is inside, bout if you flash with this CSC, it will use the PIT inside anyway.

It's not SINGLE CSC pit file. It's multi CSC file

I've seen multi-csc files in general, if it is defined by XEO and it has several ones inside, then there shouldnt be a singel-csc containing one, at least not to my experience.
Can you be more specific, "SINGLE CSC pit" does not make any sense mate, i'm sorry.
If you want help, it is way better to explain your "issue" or "inquiry".
PS, Single CSC releases are usually isolated Carriers, such as EE in UK (EE does not operate outside UK, like Vodafone which is present everywhere in Europe).
Again, do you need a PIT, or a CSC file?

CSC change ?

Hi, i can't change my CSC with *#272*imei#
I bought my phone in germany, and flash belgium Firmware (which is the country i live) but the CSC changed from DBT (Germany) to SEB (Baltic) how
bump
Usually to change the CSC you have to flash the new firmware (which you have done) but then also flash to change the CSC. - On previous Samsung's (Note 3) - you have to flash the firmware, wipe the device then insert your SIM and it changes to your region.
This *may* apply to the S5 also, but only way to actually tell would be to do it, extract the CSC info and flash it. If you're unsure how to do this, then I'd hold off for a little while until others have tested different methods or release a guide on how to change it.

Download the latest firmware for your region
Extract PAK version download with 7-zip and copy the CSC
Flash firmware for your region BL/Ap/CP/CSC_PAK (the one extracted earlier) from PAK firmware
Only add the CSC from PAK firmware
Your device will be wiped.

Hi, I had a G928C with the same issue only the difference was I needed to migrate from PAK to XSG. So, what you need to do is, download a PAK firmware from sammobile and a BTU firmware (BTU is for the UK region). Flash BTU first and then right after a factory reset and then flash your PAK firmware, don't forget to do a factory reset otherwise your old csc will remain intact and don't root your phone please. Don't void the warranty.
The problem actually is most of the firmwares out there are MULTI-CSC so, your old CSC always remains intact, BTU on the other hand is a single CSC firmware so, your phone is forced to change it's CSC as there's only one CSC available when you perform the reset. So, when you'll flash the PAK after BTU your CSC will be changed to PAK from BTU.
So, you gotta do this XSG->BTU->PAK
And I repeat, please don't root your phone. There's no joy in that unless you really want to do something that actually requires a rooted phone.
Best of luck
P.S If you are able to get Factory firmware of PAK that would be great. (The one with separate CP,CSC,BL etc files with PIT as well).
I am using firmware BTU for SM-G935F can i change the firmware to PAK?

CSC and Samsung Pay on 935F

I've read through several monster threads on Samsung Pay and the 935F variant, but I still need some clarity.
I have a 935F running TPA CSC (Panama). I am in the U.S. using the phone on AT&T.
I understand in order the Samsung Pay to work, the phone must be flashed with firmware from a country that supports Samsung Pay, like Australia (XSA).
Does "firmware" mean the CSC piece or all four (BL, AP, CP, CSC) pieces need to be from a "Samsung Pay country"?
If I flash BL, AP, SP from XSA and CSC_Home (from TPA) will I be good, or do I need to flash all four (including full CSC not home from XSA) from XSA?
Thanks.
Rene
ALL FOUR!!! or you will have a mismatch!

BTU/XEU firmware and CSC difference?

Hi,
Sorry if this has been asked before, I'm in the UK and I have purchased the Galaxy S8 G950F (Exynos) from Amazon Germany for €585 which converted to £525 and is around £80 cheaper than buying in the UK but the phone came with German firmware and I would like to flash UK firmware onto the phone but what is the difference between UK BTU and XEU firmware?
Also, when flashing the firmware via Odin, should I use the CSC or Home_CSC file and what is the difference?
Thanks
There is not much difference between the 2 as far as i know i was on vod but then flashed xeu I used the pit file not the home csc

Did your CSC changed from VOD to XEU as well? Also, is the pit file the same as the one name CSC and not Home_CSC?

When i flashed my xeu my csc is like this xeu xeu vod that's how it is as csc code stays the same but my new active csc is xeu vod stays there as that was original csc code but i don't have an problems getting ota updates i think it was oxm file as it reset the phone i didn't use the home csc.
As you can see product is vod but my active csc is XEU.

XEU is via resellers and BTU is direct from Samsung.
When flashing make sure to use CSC, as this will repartition the phone. csc_home is to make sure data isn't wiped. But always best to wipe data when flashing a new CSC.

Flashing CSC file with ODIN from BRI to TGY

Hi, can anybody help me with this question?
I have an S8 with BRI CSC, it's a G950FD, but the TGY CSC is from G9500.
My question is, is it possible to extract the TGY CSC from the G9500 and flash it on to the G950FD with ODIN?
I was told it could be done if I can manage to remove the PIT file from the CSC file?
I need this CSC so that I can use the feature Samsung Pay features in HK.
Thank you so much for all your help!
Any update on this? I've got a Singapore CSC and want to flash HK CSC for Spay too!
