I've read through several monster threads on Samsung Pay and the 935F variant, but I still need some clarity.
I have a 935F running TPA CSC (Panama). I am in the U.S. using the phone on AT&T.
I understand in order the Samsung Pay to work, the phone must be flashed with firmware from a country that supports Samsung Pay, like Australia (XSA).
Does "firmware" mean the CSC piece or all four (BL, AP, CP, CSC) pieces need to be from a "Samsung Pay country"?
If I flash BL, AP, SP from XSA and CSC_Home (from TPA) will I be good, or do I need to flash all four (including full CSC not home from XSA) from XSA?
Thanks.
Rene
ALL FOUR!!! or you will have a mismatch!

Hi
I need 4-files firmware 6.0.1 for SM-A510F with single CSC - XEO or single CSC pit-files (XEO). Who can help me ?
Use SamFirm, tick Auto and Binary, put SM-A510F and XEO on your relevant fields and download it. CSC will be separate, PIT is inside, bout if you flash with this CSC, it will use the PIT inside anyway.
It's not SINGLE CSC pit file. It's multi CSC file
I've seen multi-csc files in general, if it is defined by XEO and it has several ones inside, then there shouldnt be a singel-csc containing one, at least not to my experience.
Can you be more specific, "SINGLE CSC pit" does not make any sense mate, i'm sorry.
If you want help, it is way better to explain your "issue" or "inquiry".
PS, Single CSC releases are usually isolated Carriers, such as EE in UK (EE does not operate outside UK, like Vodafone which is present everywhere in Europe).
Again, do you need a PIT, or a CSC file?
Hey there everyone!
Recently, I bought my S8 out of my home country. It's an Exynos G950FD, manufactured in Vietnam. I flashed the ZTO (Brazil) firmware as soon as I could (AP, BL, CP and CSC - not Home_CSC). As it is a Multi-CSC, I was expecting it to select the CSC based on the SIM after a factory reset, but strangely my device shows "BTC/BTC/BTC". Everything works fine, apart from Samsung Pay (which I guess is kinda expected?).
Any advices are welcome! Thanks in advance.
Have you tried different sim?
Hi all,
Bought an s8 here in the UK but the CSC is TIM (italy) want to insall XEU firmware tried Odin with reset that I would normally use to work but it's staying as TIM??
Any help?

Find a firmware without a multi CSC I believe XSA and UK carrier firmwares all are like this.. Check the repartition box. Flash and don't use the Home CSC. Let the phone boot and then flash your multi CSC firmware. That is how I have gotten around it my S7 edge when I was trying to make Samsung Pay work.

Hey thanks for the quick reply. So just confirming before I start, you reckon below are the steps I should take?
1) Flash with a non multi-csc firmware, such as the Australian XSA (check the repartition box, and don't use HOME_CSC)
2) Reboot, then flash again with a multi-csc firmware, such as the Netherland PHN firmware.
And, when flashing do I pick all 4 files in Odin (BL, CP, AP, CSC)?
Thanks for your help.

If you want Samsung Pay works in the USA also then just flash XSA with all the files and don't use home csc and your done.
The only time I had issues is when you want to switch from a multi csc to another multi csc. Example German csc to UK csc because they use the same firmware. That is when I flashed a fixed csc then flashed a multi csc. So I could get the specific csc to work on my phone. Supposedly you can do it differently through the dialer I think. It never worked for me.
I have my s8 and my gf's s7 edge both on XSA because Samsung pay and white pages both work. Only downside is you get updates a month later then BTU.
I hope that makes sense if not pm me.
Thank you. It works as you said.
Hi,
Sorry if this has been asked before, I'm in the UK and I have purchased the Galaxy S8 G950F (Exynos) from Amazon Germany for €585 which converted to £525 and is around £80 cheaper than buying in the UK but the phone came with German firmware and I would like to flash UK firmware onto the phone but what is the difference between UK BTU and XEU firmware?
Also, when flashing the firmware via Odin, should I use the CSC or Home_CSC file and what is the difference?
Thanks
There is not much difference between the 2 as far as i know i was on vod but then flashed xeu I used the pit file not the home csc

Did your CSC changed from VOD to XEU as well? Also, is the pit file the same as the one name CSC and not Home_CSC?

When i flashed my xeu my csc is like this xeu xeu vod that's how it is as csc code stays the same but my new active csc is xeu vod stays there as that was original csc code but i don't have an problems getting ota updates i think it was oxm file as it reset the phone i didn't use the home csc.
As you can see product is vod but my active csc is XEU.

XEU is via resellers and BTU is direct from Samsung.
When flashing make sure to use CSC, as this will repartition the phone. csc_home is to make sure data isn't wiped. But always best to wipe data when flashing a new CSC.
I need a stock BTU firmware for my SM-G930F S7 as the place i bought it from(mobiles.co.uk)screwed me over and gave me a firmware with a verizon us csc.It even thinks the GPU is an Adreno, when it is actually a Mali, which is why I want the stock UK Firmware.

Well,I have the firmware now.But should I take the risk and flash it with ODIN or not. Also,in CSC in Odin,do you put the HOME_CSC there or the CSC?
CSC wipes your data; HOME_CSC does not.

Cool,so I'd use home csc so I don't lose my data. But I've heard from some people that they lost their IMEI when they used a different CSC.
CSC won't affect your IMEI, just don't tick anything extra in Odin as that's usually what breaks IMEI etc. Leave it all default.
