I conference all the time when I used to be on T-mobile network. Now I switched to Simple Mobile network and all I can do on it is 2-way calling. Is there any way I can bypass this or is this a network thing?

I'm pretty sure its a network thing, they sometimes give you the option of 3way calling for extra charge. it just depends on the network.
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, the network that I am now on does not support conferencing, which is a bit disappointing to me.
maybe i'm missing something but WIFi is everywhere, so why do we need a mobile service provider to make WIFI calls? in many places is free.
why can there be a way to rout your calls through a open or home wifi network to make call?
Uhh, you dont need a service provider for wifi calls. If that were the case, wifi tablets couldnt make wifi calls. You just need to find a wifi calling service that is by someone other than your cellular service provider. Hangouts now has this, skype, google voice, and many others.
Hi all. I have a challenge with my Galaxy S8. I used it on H2O Wireless (AT&T network) for a few months. I then switched over to Total Wireless (Verizon network) for a month. I've switched back over to H2O and data/texts are working fine. However, I can't make or receive phone calls. When I go into the Network Mode settings, the CDMA options still seem to be stuck in there, with none of the GSM options showing. I've spoken to both H2O and Samsung support and neither have an answer - pointing their fingers in the other's direction.
Does anyone have any suggestions other than doing a factory reset? Thanks in advance.

Have your H2O sim in your phone, then go to settings>general management>reset and reset network settings, at least try that first.
Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried this but unfortunately no luck. I've tried popping in a couple other GSM SIM cards that I have around but can't get it to switch over. Really strange issue.
How can I enable for MVNO (StraightTalk) with Verizon S8 G950U device, Advanced Calling (HD calling VoLTE/simultaneous use of mobile and voice data)?
Device is rooted with PartCyborgRom/SamPWND method mentioned by @still_mohawk, #355.
Would switching to ST sim for AT&T or T-Mobile fix?
I believe both carriers do not restrict simultaneous use of mobile and voice data?
Note: StraightTalk Wireless services can use either big 4 carrier network.
Any thoughts to enable dual use data/voice would be appreciated, thank you for any help you can share!

Yes but it won't work, at least not with wifi calling. I forced mine and I just stopped getting phonecalls lol.
You can try volte I think everyone has that activated if you don't already have it on. Use the app "shortcut master" and find the secret code that takes you to the settings app for it
I loaded Shortcut Master and found VoLTETestUI (com.test.LTEfunctionality) favorited and opened settings, turned ON N/W settings and when making a call the LTE stays on but the phone immediately hangs up. I changed the mode starting at 0-9 but none worked to maintian LTE connection. Is there an "HVoLTE test mode" setting that will work? Is there an APN setting that will keep LTE on during calls for mobile data/browsing?

CyberFem, any luck with this? I'm in the same boat. Tried shortcut master, got as deep as you did. Can't get VoLTE to work with my verizon s8 on total wireless (verizon mvno). TIA
No luck here.
So I got myself the LTE version of this tab.
Was hoping wifi calling was an option.. But it doesn't seem to support it (at least I can't seem to find the option)
I have a tmobile Sim card and when I use it on my note 8 I can see the wifi calling option.
Anyone know a way to enable this? Or the the s5e simply not support this feature.?
I think this depends on your cell provider as some networks do not support WiFi calling

Yeah it does,
In my case my provider does support wifi calling and using the same Sim card I can activate wifi calling on a couple of other devices I have., just not on this tablet because I am unable to find the option.

In that case I would take your device to either the local high street retail branch of your Service Provider or a Samsung Service Centre and ask them for further assistance. There is a chance that the SGTS5e does not support WiFi calling as it is a tablet afterall.
