I have the solution fot the loudspeaker issue. It's very simple (sorry if my english is not so good, but I'm a mexican dude)
*Steps:
1.- Open the "Device Help" app
2.- Go to "FIX" and then open "Hardware Test"
3.- Touch the "Speakers" option and clic on "Begin test"
4.- Wait a few seconds. Then clic on "No" when the sign appears.
5.- Clic on "Check again" and wait. Then clic on "YES"
6.- IMPORTANT: the volumen keys maybe stop working, because only shows the volume of call option. You need restar your device.
7.- After turning your device, go to "Device Help" and make the process only one time and restart again.
8.- READY! This should work.
Issues: The BT audio meaybe don't working. This fix is only temporary solution.
I HOPE THIS INFORMATION HELPS YOU.
Sorry again for my bad english
I tried this and it seems to be working. My notifications don't seem as loud as they were when I first started my phone but I can switch from vibrate to audible notifications without issue so far. Thanks!
What's the problem you're talking to
Sent from my XT1635-02 using XDA-Developers mobile app
I think one should avoid this fix as there are side effects with regard to hearing incoming callers and losing Bluetooth. Let's wait and see if Nougat fixes things for us.
This has just been posted on the Moto Forum by the Motorola Admin Manager: 'I'm happy to report that we're finalizing a software change that will address this issue and restore the notification volume to previous levels. We expect to start final testing very soon. I'll provide more information when I have details on delivery of the software. '

Hello,
Suddenly, I have lost all sound on my qtek 2020.
The system volume slider is on the lowest position and when I put it back on top, it goes back down.
Also when I try to play a ringtone a message appears saying: "The ringtone is not working properly".
I cannot hear the ring for incoming calls, or any other system sounds.
Can anyone help on this issue?
Thanks a lot
is the radiobutton in the slider dialog set to off ?
is it set to vibrate ?
how are the settings in sounds and notifications
did you try a softreset ?

Did anyone know, how to erase the widcom-stack correctly - without the soundbug?
Does the delete-routine delete something wrong or thomething in the registry?

If you have the Widcom stack go to the WIDCOM BT-manager Audio gateway tab and Disable this before uninstalling. Sound should then remain actve. Had the same problem
Very easy and simple fix!!, i had the same problem about a month ago and it took 3 weeks for me to find the solution,
click on start, then ultra profiler and untick the silent box and tick the normal one, select bluetooth as you want it, but make sure all the others are blank, tap the select button and its fixed !!
It seems that ultra profiler gets confused and forces the volume down from time to time for some unknown reason without you ever using it

I have not installed Ultra Profiler...
I yesterday made a hard reset of my device and installed it from scratch... Now it's working...
It seems BluetoothGPS is the faulty one, since after uninstalling all sounds are gone...
I followed instructions in this post to remove it but BluetoothGPS still shows in Remove programs section.
i havent installed ultraprofiler either, and i didnt want it because of this problem, but i comes preinstalled with the XDA2,
Maybe it isnt preinstalled on the Qtec version ??, not sure as i havent got one
just install bluetoothgps.cab again and all will be ok, i dont know the reson and appreciate if some one give a real solution.
My Jade had a strange bug:
It indicated incoming calls no longer by tone (it did not ring), on the display and by LED the calls were indicated normally. The calls could be accepted as usual, speaking and hands-free were OK. So it was no speaker defect. While checking the ring-tone-setting in "Settings/Phone", I received the error-message "ring-tone-file damaged ... unusable ... please choose another file." All selectable ring-tone-files showed the same error message.
After a soft reset, everything is OK until now.
I use Spb-Mobile Shell/Wireless Monitor/Phone Suite.
Did anyone have the same problem?

Hi, that is the place where they were and are.
I did not do anything with the ring-tones before it happened.
And only to make it clear: After Soft-Reset the problem vanished. So I have no problem at the moment. I am interested if this or something similar also happened to other users. And I would like to discuss possible reasons.
Dear Forum,
I have an htc wildfire phone, and there is issue with the ringing. So while I receive some call, the ringing voice at first is coming then it is stopping and phone is starting to vibrate, like when calling you press the voice button on the corpus of the phone ( but I am not pressing anything).
Please let me know if you have faced with such issue.
Thanks,
Hayk
If I understand you correctly this is not an issue but a feature.
When you pick the phone up (move it) the ring volume lowers.
You can find this setting and turn it off under the settings menu somewhere (don't have stock rom so can't check).
Let me guess, it is facing down when the call is received yeah? It's the "Polite Ringer" feature
Yah...Its Polite Ringtone option
It happens , when the phone's position changes!
Hey all--
I've been unsuccessfully trying to troubleshoot this for a week or two to no avail, so I thought I'd reach out.
My phone ringtone no longer plays when I receive phone calls. Volume is up, no DoNotDisturb or silence settings on, and EVERY OTHER SOUND works just fine (e.g. app notifications, music/video, etc). If I go to my ringtone settings and try to select ANY option, NO audio plays for anything. However, I DO hear audio when trying to choose a new notification sound. Just nothing on the ringtone.
I acknowledge it may be due to some app I've installed recently, but I can't seem to trace it back to any one in particular. Next step is a full reset, which I'd prefer not to do... Anyone experienced this?

I've dealt with a few ringtone-related issues in the past, but not a prolonged one like you are describing.
Try this:
1. Clear all recent (open) Apps using the recent Apps button.
2. reboot: turn your phone off, and back on
3. do the Apps drawer>Device Help>Fix>Hardware Test>Speaker Test (even if you hear it, answer " no" and leave it marked as if the hardware test failed, continue to operate your phone full-time with this marked as fail)
4. Go to select your ringtone, tap once on desired ringtone and give it about 3 seconds, then tap a second time on same ringtone and it should play at normal volume. Press ok. ringtone should be working...If not, reboot phone and try #3. speaker test again.
DUDE. I don't really understand how, but that totally worked (first time on step 4, too)! You are a scholar and a gentleman, and I send you many real (and one digital) thanks. ???
When you install the zip, the phone app. become like invisible until you re-flash the original ROM (OOS), who erase the zip modifications of Magisk ans repair the phone app.
And you should know it, if you re-flash the Magisk zip, start point
Any ideas ?
(for a brief description of the "ghost" app., you can't see who call you, nothing appear but it rings, and you can't answer it. You have to wait the end of the incall attempt for re-call by yourself. And you can't stop the call, you have to wait for the interlocutor hang up or stop the app. in the options or restart the mobile phone. Generally for an interlocutor you just wait for his hang up, but for a voice messaging you have to restart the smartphone or stop the app.
The app. still accessible, but the "Call screen" never appear, so out the hang up, the answer, the number composition incall, the mic. mute and so on)
