Bluetooth issue - Huawei P9 Lite Questions & Answers

Hello, I have a rooted P9-lite, when the bluetooth is on and connected to a device, wifi slow down (~2mbps instead of ~15mbps when bluetooth is turned off). Am I the only one who have this issue ? Is it a hardware or a software issue? Thanks for any answers

I have the same problem. I think it's because of interferences between Wifi 2.4 ghz and bluetooth on our phone... I'm currently trying to find a solution but I fear I will fail...
If anyone has an idea...

I have done some search, but I haven't found any solutions. It doesn't works either on fresh stock rom or cm13 by meticulus, so yeah I think there are some interferences between Bluetooth and wifi and I don't know if this is fixable

I know we could fix our issue by connecting to a 5 ghz wifi but P9 lite doesn't support 5 Ghz, am I right?
I'm new to the P9 lite forum btw I have to learn

Yep, no 5ghz support! I think buying a good Bluetooth eadset should solves the problem (mine was ? 60euro)

i also have the same problem n i can't even connect with my car

We're talking about potential interference problem between wifi 2.4 ghz and bluetooth. I guess you don't have wifi on your car?

i have the same problem with my p10 lite ?
once i connect a headsets to my p10 lite wifi drops from 28Mbps to 1Mbps. Tried out different headsets and different routers. Switched channels in the router configuration. Did not help.
None of my other devices (Android or oOS) have this problem.
Do you know whether this os a hardware or software issue?

I suffer the same problem, the wifi speed drops down from 50Mbps to 17Mbps with the bluetooth earphones connected. Very hard to watch youtube videos, buffering all the time.

I have the same problem on my p10 lite. Even with 5ghz wifi!
Only one solution works: disable play services, or rollback to 11.0 version.
(Or disable bt).
Customer support didn't helped with this problem. Suggested hard reset.. Of corse didn't helped.

Audi Q7 Bluetooth Car Kit & Tytn disconnection

Hello,
i have the same problem of bluetooth disconnection problem that other users are reporting.
I've read many seems to have found a solution but all the fix suggested didn't solved. Right now I'm running xdalive 2 with 1.38 radio rom, and the disconnections are much less frequent but still happens.
Who solved the issue can please details the changes that made it works?
With this version (XDALIVE) I haven't already tried the registry settings. With LVSW I tried but it didn't changed the behavior of bluetooth.
Thanks
anyone?..
I am having the same problem with my Trinity and my A4.
What I have found is that if you go into commections and refresh the handsfree then the unit re-connects on saving. Does anyone know if this could be done automatically upon recieving a call or could a macro be written to perform a refresh through the phone menu?
Thanks

I would try black 2.0. With this rom I now have better bluetooth support for my Jeep Cherokee. With this ROM I now get signal strength and battery guage to show on my Cherokee nav/radio system when making calls

WiFi disconnects when using Bluetooth headpones

Hi everyone, it seems I got a problem I never had before, or even heard of...I bought a pair of new Bluetooth headphone (Bluedio T2S) and when I started to use them I discovered this issue. There is not a really good WiFi signal in my bedroom, but I never had disconnection issues, in fact this problem occurs ONLY when I am using this Bluetooth headphones...which is curious...wifi keeps disconnecting and connecting again...instead when I am using wired earphones, the WiFi is always connected...this is weird.
Has anyone had this problem or know how to solve the issue?
Some technical specifications:
Rom: Albe95 Lollirom v8.0
Baseband/modem: UHPA1
Up
Note: This is happening even when I am in front of the router...keeps disconnecting. Anyway it's not happening with my fruity tablet using the same Bluetooth headset and connected to the same router...so I think this could be modem related...right?
I have had disconnection problems recently, I updated my baseband and bootloader but got even worse disconnection problems afterwards. I had to clean flash my rom again before everything went back to normal. maybe give that a try...

bluetooth stutter with wifi enabled

Hello to all,
With one of my Bluetooth receiver the audio of my mediapad always stutter every 2 seconds. If I turn off wireless, everything goes smooth.
Testing the same receiver with another tablet (Asus zenpad) audio goes without problems.
Has anyone of you had this problem? Or heard of it (better, lack of hearing)?
More important, any solution?
Bye and thanks
Walt
I know on my Pixel XL there were issues like this and most were solved by exempting the media app you are using from battery optimization. I guess you could give that a try.
Sent from my BTV-W09 using Tapatalk
Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately I am trying with full performance settings.
Maybe interference between wireless and Bluetooth, or low quality receiver (excelvan).
I'll search on the web. If anyone has a workaround, I would be very grateful.
Thanks
I have the same problem! Not with all apps tho. But with one of those I use the most and MX Player. Lags a lot when using WiFi. But when I'm outside and using 4g / LTE mode the Bluetooth functions works smoothly.. Strange, and it Sucks. Don't have any answer to it, but you're not alone.
Similar issues here:
I have a very poor wifi (2.4 and 5 GHz) performance when BT is ON. Once tured OFF everything goes back to normal. I'm on BTV-DL09C100B302.
Update: Cause found! It was the Garmin Connect APP.
I have the same problem and problem was with Microsoft Bluetooth 4.0 Mobile Mouse 3600. If was paired with Huawei Mediapad M3 (on or off) wifi was vary poor. After deleted is wifi OK.

Issues with Wi-Fi and bluetooth connected together

Hi.
Me and my girlfriend we are Huawei P8 lite (first version) users and now we noticed a issue with the connectivity.
Usually we use spotify to listen music and we have a BT speaker to play the songs.
We have good connection of wi-fi, but as soon as we pair the phone with the speaker the wi-fi goes away.
There is someone else with this issue? Is it possible to fix it?
Cheers

Do you know if this issue is happening in other models from the brand?
I remember that before was working fine. Do you think that this issue is related with the update that the phone got recently?

BT connectivity issues with garmin

Is anybody using Garmin watch connected via BT and Garmin connect mobile app and does it work well?
I can pair/connect my Fenix 5 watch, but it never reconnects when it looses connection to phone. I have to unpair and pair it again
Problem is described here, with different phone. The issue seems to be how the BT stack is implemented in Oreo 8.1...
Hello,
Have you found a solution to your issue?
I'm facing the same issue (my watch is pairing perfectly, but when disconnected, it will _never_ reconnect...)

Hello,
Garmin has issued a new release for my 920xt watch.
It's now in release 9.90, and the bluetooth is working as expected (I mean, it reconnects in 5 seconds when the link is lost (I turn off BT, I'm going away from the phone, etc.))
Thanks to Garmin,
Best regards
