I'm sorry but I can't test that because USB port of my S3 is broken. However, my microSD in phone is formatted to exFAT and works perfectly.

see i ll try to explain ... when we r talking abt F2FS that needs only the kernel support . also under F2FS only the /data partition is formatted as F2FS ( atleast for mirage and slim kernel ) .... for using the hellsdoctor r29 u need to format both /cache and /data as F2FS ...of course its done using a special recovery ..( i m assuming u know abt that ) ...
BUT when it comes to All-F2FS , the /system ,/ cache and /data all three are to be formatted under F2FS (thats why called ALL-F2FS) .. it also needs a special twrp recovery other than f2fs one ....
for the time being all-f2fs is quite disadvantageous because u ll lose rom support ... unlike f2fs ,, ALL-F2FS needs both rom and kernel support ... and currently only slimkat has one all-f2fs supporting rom .... so better stick with just F2FS ...
p.s. i am myself running Purity ROM + hellsdoctor r29+F2FS

Q&A for [ROM] [KERNEL] [4.4.4] [EXT4/F2FS] LiquidSmooth v3.2 Official [NIGHTLIES]
Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer. Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!
Amazing!
Okay so I've used a lot of roms for my nexus 5. Pretty much all the well known ones actually. I usually ended up sticking with carbon rom, stock with xposed, Android L preview, etc. I usually go for battery life with performance and so far none of the roms could offer anything better than a day. My first day using liquidsmooth again, at 50% battery I had been using my phone for 15 hours approx. This new update to liquidsmooth is by far the best. Amazing battery life, amazing performance, and very minimal crashes. I think the crashes are mainly due to ART enabled. Keep up the great work! Hoping to see a new update soon!

Honestly, I do not know. I think the S4 has it but I'm not entirely sure. I know the s5 is pretty locked down on roms. The s3 has quite a bit more selection as far as I know. Didn't really look into the S4. Sorry man
MicroSDXC card format
How should I format my 64 microSDXC card to support files greater than 4GB, but have the ability to read and write from Windows 7?
With the end of including ex-fat drivers, fat32 doesn't support files greater than 4GB. Does formatting the card as NTFS work?

Please note that ATT S4 can't flash kernels. There are no working methods at. If you do try flashing one, it would stay as the stock kernel without changing anything. So basically it's useless.

Short answer, no. Long answer, get a micro SD to USB converter, transfer files to computer, then format and transfer back.
Hello.
Just wondering, is there any possibility to add sweep2wake or doubletap2wake for any of the builds posted here: http://www.drdevs.com/devs/teamliquid/Nightly/S4_Unified/ ?
Thank you in advance.

I am in the same situation. Since LiquidSmooth is based off Cyanogenmod and CM removed support for exfat formatted SD cards, you'll need to format the SD card as either FAT32 or NTFS.
I store movies in my SD card and FAT32 has a file size limitation of 4GB, so I tried NTFS and LiquidSmooth was able to read and write to the card. Try formatting the card as NTFS if you plan on using LiquidSmooth as your ROM.

How to f2fs international galaxy s4?
After wiping and flashing the 02/11 nightly last night I noticed everything works, except for the App Info windows and GPS. I don't care much for App Info (everything works except for some of the labels that don't show up correctly), but no GPS is really killing me. Are there any troubleshooting steps I can take?
Does this ROM support roaming yet?
Hey guys, there exist a way to work IR Blaster?? I tried with many apk, but doesnt work.
Nevermind, I found the solution: install a version 3.2.
This thread looks dead but...
I'm looking for a liquid smooth milestone 444 or any recent 444 nightly. All I can find are 5.xx now...
I have a jfltecan device so I can flash 9505 ROMs as well.
{Not that I can find liquid smooth there in 444)
Than you for any directions in advance.

help
can anyone help me!i want to download liquid smooth rom so what i did was went to this" http://www.drdevs.com/devs/teamliquid/ " the there are 3 options wich one shall is choose? and wahts the difference ? nightly ,offical and milestone ...and i m downloading offical 3.1 ....there is no 3.2 offical in the website in offical section can some one help me with it afap
As I understand..
Official 3.1. Is pretty much an earlier 444 milestone 1 or maybe 443. Darn stable
Milestone is the latest stable 444 just before everyone jumped on the 5.xx bandwagon. Very stable but I can not find it for the s4.
Nightly is what they build every night all the newest bugs and bug fixes maybe stable maybe not... But latest greatest build. Now only 5.xx
But I could be wrong

how to build this kernal
I don't know personally about this platform, but what I read about the Qualcomm SOC seemed to say that the chipset supports actual USB 2.0 host and not just OTG (Actually OTG was not mentioned on the page). If any is implemented in this phone I have no clue
Cheers!

Does the Nvidia Shield TV support EXT2, 3, or 4?
As far as I can tell none of the above

Yeah, some of the custom ROMs may have a kernel that supports it already, haven't tried
But you could build your own too

The newest version of the official TWRP has the f2fs option, but as far as I know, all ROMs are still require/recommend ext4.

yes its true but i have used f2fs for long time and i never had a performance issue
i can say that performance increase with f2fs , especcially when opening games!
so i only want the OPTION TO SWITCH YO F2FS, nothing more!
anyone is responsible for everything that do on our phone!
I only had troubles with f2fs. yes the performance is nice, but don't be surprised when your system doesn't boot up anymore after a few months (happened to me twice, once on vacation without access to a laptop ) never happend with ext4. can be coincidence but I don't trust f2fs anymore

This exactly happened to me too while I was with F2FS on my older Galaxy S4, and also exactly while I was on vacation, F2FS can't be trusted anymore to either. But I got to admit, the performance boost is nice
