If your device is rooted you can use apps from play store.
Just search for "led notification"
I thought play store apps work even if device is not root ed...

For some of the apps you need root.

Hello!
So I kinda have a strange problem that I do not know how to fix. What happens is that I just can not see my device at all on the web play.google.com. But if I click my way through google towards device manager I can see my phone there. I can also remotely call the phone using the device manager so it does have contact.
What I have done so far is delete & restore google account and also cleared data of play store and google services.
Any ideas?

By any chance you did not experiment with build.prop? What ROM are you running? Some apps like DPI changer, some hacker, blocker, etc used?

Well I am using the increased volume mod, camera mod and xposed. Phone is rooted with cwm but running stock ROM.
Have you tried different PC connection modes.

Anyone else having issues disabling the pre-installed T-Mobile apps? The disable button is greyed out when I go into "app manager" then when I connect to the DeBloatware program it tells me my device is Blocked. No applications actually show up on the app list either in DeBloatware (besides one - T-mobile auto start program). I unlocked my bootloader thinking it may help but it did nothing for this venture. Coming from the N6P I'm really not liking the fact that I just paid as much as I did for a phone that has T-mobile all over it... Even the start up screen pisses me off.

You went into the "app manager" to do so correct? I don't get why it's greyed out for me... I have never had the problems I'm having with this phone on any other Android device when it comes to disabling or uninstalling carrier apps...
This is what I'm seeing when I go into app info for the bloatware...

Even though the process might be different from different launchers wouldn't the result be the same? I'm using the Google Now launcher & would think that it would allow me to disable the T-mobile app regardless of launcher app... or am I completely wrong?
If you can't disable the app, kill its permissions. It does pretty much the same thing. That's how I got T-Mobile apps to stop using the battery.

Yeah, I'm going to have to go this route but I would love to know why some people can simply disable the app & on my system it is completely greyed out...

It may be carrier specific.

I was wrong, the Tmobile app is the only one I couldn't get off the phone.
I know with Samsung I could use package disabler pro and was able to end the process and get it frozen
What I did is diable all permissions, revoke background data from the app, cleared cached and uninstalled all updates. Then don't open that app again and turn off autp update in the play store

Copy that... I want to be able to just disable the bloat like I should be able to, considering Android is open source & should be able to be customized. I purposely don't buy Applesauce phones because I like being able to tweak everything to my liking... What happened to the Android I fell in love with???
Has anybody on the T-Mobile LG V20 tried connecting their device to the DeBloater program? I'm curious if anyone else is getting the "Your device does not allow blocking" notification when connecting your phone...
Follwing.

Have you tried SD Maid Pro yet? I used that on my Sprint variant and was able to disable anything I wanted. Be advised, some of the apps are integrated into other apps within framework and could cause issues with apps you want to use still.
I installed AdGuard and Android system notification about VPN is always on. Does anyone have an idea how to get rid of it? Pixel was able to stop the notification, but not this phone...
long hard press on the notification -> block notifications from that app
That does not work, because it is an Android system notification and for some reason Samsung won't let me turn it off
No luck on that. reason why i dont use any vpn like adguad and block this ( or.wherever is call) u WILL NOT be able to get rid of notification. I tried this since the gs6, note 5 gs7 edge and now gs8. Root or use nova and hide status bar at least u wont see the notification on top. My solution get disconnect pro or adhell which work in a different way blockong ad with knox. U wont get ad in browser like chrome also no ad in apps. Best part, no notification icon anywhere. I like disconnect pro better but is to expensive. Do a google search and u can get it f. R. E. E. See how it works. Then delete it and purchase it to support the developer.

Thanks - trying adhell for now (as it's free and open source) and seems to be working well.
@ddesnson Adhell does not work on https. Try a google search in a browser, and you will see ads.

I tried it, but no ads. Also logged into xda on https and no ads
When I enable Adhell, open a browser (Chrome) and perform a google search e.g "bicycle" , I get Google ads in result.

Me too - they blend in so well I never noticed. I'll keep an eye on the price of Disconnect Pro and try it if there's another sale, but for now Adhell does most of what I need it to do.
With Adguard there are no Google ads and other ads on https-pages, so I will stay with Adguard.

Is Disconnect Pro not also working through VPN?
There are some Google apps that I don't use in stock ROM. Can I just disable those apps? I'm asking because on my previous phone, Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime(MM 6.0.1), when I disabled some pre-installed Google apps, the phone would bootloop if rebooted after disabling those apps. Is it the same with this phone too?

Yes you can disable many gapps. Settings/app/ show all. Than find the app you want to disable.

I disabled play movies. I find Duo and Google app to be quite useful.
I've also disabled the stock calculator, play music, and the 'device help' moto app.
