Here's my story,
I flashed my n9005 with the stock firmware at night. so after flashing complete, like always it was booting up fine and in the booting process the the phone got out of charge and i thought i will charge the next day.
So as i planned i charged it and it wasn't charging, i thought it was a cable or socket problem and i used other chargers but didn't charged.
So i thought it was hard brick and i searched and found some solutions and they said that if i connect my phone to a pc it would show 'qhusb_download mode'.
But when i connect my pc it dosent show any 'qhusb_download mode' in windows or in odin.
So i was thinking if it is bricked or not and what should i do?
Thanks in advance
Is your battery charged ???
have you tried flashing again via Odin

If the phone is getting hot while connected to your computer and charging, there could be something wrong with the battery or the charging circuit.
At least you should try changing the battery.

I've seen some roms with problems charging the phone while it is turned off. My current rom is like that, I can only charge it when it is turned on, if I try to plug it in when phone is turned off, I will get a charge screen for a second before the phone restarts, or sometimes stays dark and just gets hot.
Try finding a friend with a note 3 and charging your battery in their phone, then when full put back into your phone and boot back into download mode to flash something else.
remove your battery, and charge ur phone, it should boot
try your best to at least boot into download mode
If you are able to do so, good i will give u further instructions.

Try recovery mode, but probably it won't work neither. Try also removing sim and sdcard... In such cases, when you cannot start the phone in any mode, the Samsung service is the only solution...
ok. can it be done under warranty?
what do i say to samsungg service?

I guess this is covered by warranty... you can say the phone crashed after reboot or after using Kies.

Even after removing the battery and trying from USB power? Have you tried different cables/ports/computers?
man i try every possible configuration (done flashing a lot never have problems before cm7 i always was able to go back with odin)
It was a bad connection... biggest give away was the color...wait a solid color right? Like everything went blank and it turned orange? If so then its your cable use a different cable....
Also did you have repartition check as well as auto reboot?

Leave the battery out for a while like an hour or so and then try it again....

Keep trying all the suggestions. Sometimes it just gets picky. Try it without a battery and with a new cable.
i have had this too
I have had this too in green, blue, and red before. I have been always been able to fix it by waiting with sdcard and battery out and trying it later.

You're attempting to put it in download mode *before* connecting the cable, right?
that helped im in download mode

As VassagoX suggested in his posts I have had luck a number of times where I cannot get into download mode on a failed odin flash until I try with no battery in the phone and usb into pc.
1) remove battery, leave it out.
2) start odin on pc
3) plug usb into pc, and phone
4) hold 1, hit power (still no battery) to go into download mode.
Glad you were able to get it working. Figured I'd throw this out there again in case it can help anyone else.
Hi guys, I'm gonna tell you what happened with my S4 to see if you can help me.
I got a MetroPCS Galaxy S4 (SGH-M919N) then I went to a tech and unlocked it. After 2 days the screen started blinking in pink color and I decided to flash it with a stock ROM from T-Mobile (SGH-M919-TMB-M919UVUAMDL-1366964131) using ODIN. Everything was great, in a couple of days the screen went kinda black (No brightness at all) I could barely see it. In this state with the phone turned off and tried to plug in to the PC or charge it and started blinking in green color. I decided once again to flash it with the stock ROM mentioned above but the phone won't enter in recovery or download mode after that I tried to flash it with the CyanogenMOD Installer......everything was OK but it stuck in about 75%, left the phone connected for 20min aprox and nothing happened. I unplugged it and tried to turn it on (It vibrates but I get no startup sound, logo, boot, anything!) ODIN doesn't recognized anymore, can't enter in recovery or download.
I tried to reboot download with ADB to flash it with ODIN but usb debugging is not enabled and ADB commands doesn't work.
I don't know what to do with my S4, I hope you guys can help me. I'm not in the US so I can't return it for replacement.
I hope to hear from you soon. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Is the battery working ok? Does the LED go red when charger is plugged in as normal?
What happens when you try to boot to recovery?
If your screen start blinking pink and after that turning black, why do assume it's a software problem? No rom would cause that. It's clearly a hardware failure.

The battery is OK, I tested it already with another phone. The LED doesn't turn on when the charger is plugged in. When I try to enter to recovery it vibrates but nothing else happens (Black Screen).

Have you tryed it?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265477
At the bottom there are some information "how to revive bricked device". Have you tryed it?
I'm in a real pickle here...
My phone is bricked and I found all the resources for that already.
However, when I go to flash the firmware on the phone to bring it back to stock it's not allowing me to do it because the battery is at 4%.
I go to charge the phone a it forces itself into bootloops and doesn't charge.
I can get into recovery (CWM--which bricked the phone...likely my fault) but phone doesn't charge there.
I can get into download mode but it doesn't charge there.
WTF is going on!?!?
How can I charge my phone at this point...unfortunately, the battery isn't removable.
Can you flash a custom rom through adb sideload?

Edit: No, I'm unable to establish an ADB connection in Recovery to do this. I'd actually tried this already with a stock rom. Thanks though.
Flashing the Cyanogen ROM is what bricked the phone. I'm not able to establish an ADB Connection from Recovery (ClockworksMod) so I'm not able to flash anything in Sideload.
Here's the "Boot-Loop":
Power on (vibrate)
LG logo
"Source Booting Unsuccessful"
"Cause: (blank)"
And it just loops like that any time it's plugged in and not in Recovery/Download modes (which also don't charge).
I've tried a factory reset but that didn't change anything. I also tried restoring my original backup image but that doesn't work either.
Currently I'm trying this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=48874488&posted=1#post48874488
This is where I get the failure to flash because of 4% battery.
Only other option I haven't tried yet is to boot into Ubuntu and restore files there and I'm avoiding that for now because I'm at my parents house and don't have burnable DVDs so it's going to be a pain in the ass.
for ubuntu couldn't you do a virtual machine, or live boot from a flashdrive?

I'd do a live CD/USB but they don't have the equipment so I need to go out and buy it (DVD-R is still cheap and so are USB drives) but they're not located very close to any stores

Just a thought but maybe you can use an external charger for the battery
had same issue, got bootlopp and baterry dead, can run to download mode but battery dead.everytime gi charge the battery it won't charge just bootloop again.help me too pleaseeee
it wont work for me.i charge it more than an hour but still readed "B0" in download mode thats mean i have 0 battery percent so i can't continueing to flash the phone, please help how to i charge the phone when everythime i charge it on the wall or pc,it will start bootloop again n again without charging the phone.my battery is now at 0% can't do anything
If you can go in cwm, flash twrp from usb and charge your phone in recovery.
Dear friends, anybody has found a solution? I'm on the same situation. If I disassemble my phone, will I be able to charge somehow?
Hi everyone, I know it's been many years but do we have any updates on this? Thank you
i had rooted the defy+ & installed cm7(i think because it had been a long time ago) for my friend
my friend did a reset on the phone since it was slowing down...
i think it has bricked...
because it doesn't turn on also
he got it checked at the service center, they said they have to change its motherboard
i doubt that....
i think the battery is dead too
will it charge even if the phone is bricked???
now how do i restore the phone back to stock????
any kind of suggestions will be appreciated

it's turn off (take the battery out if it's getting stuck at boot to make sure) then hold down power and vol UP to get to the boot loader
If you get no response with factory cable, your device may be hard bricked

The McGyver method is very dangerous I would have sugested you not to use it because in my case I will never have the possibility of charging my phone via usb cable but with an universal charger and it can't be reverted so you are warned now,
Are you sure your battery is now charged to enter bootloader? It can't be erased, if not, then charge your battery with an universal charger then try to enter bootloader
