Yes, it will not erase data but always make a backup.

Unzip the update.zip, create a folder on your sd card and name it dload, put the update.app file in the folder. Dail *#*#2846579#*#* choose option 4 and upgrade.

Ok something Went wrong when u flash OTA, u will need to flash FULL firmware to bring it back. I Think this will factory reset the phone so it´s good to make a backup.

Ok thx. I want to know how to take firmware stock if also Huawei never released them on its server. Probably some1 has hacked or done something cause on the net I can see also p9 and p9+ different stock firmware but I can't see them on the real place where they need to be (Huawei site).

You may google it, but only thing that google offers is b130. As for hisuite, it is not like odin for samsung devices, it is more like kies, so you cannot update your phone with downloaded update, only by using OTA, but sometimes your phone does not get OTA update, it depends on many things, IMEI number, cust and so on. But i suggest to try to download b130 and update it. I had a similar problem, my p9lite was stuck at b105. I downloaded b121, update it using sd card. Now it's on b131.
BTW, it is not latest official firmware, latest from september 10th is B151

I got the update to L29C185B520 by subscribing to huawei beta program as mentioned somewhere in the forum. Got the notification 10 days after. It's a 2.1 GB download and not the final version.

You mean boot animation.. No i have Chinese changeloc but u can put these in Google translater.. For now not much.. There is a new security patch from 1. Dezember and i don't know but it feels a lil bit faster and smoother as the B562... Now I have to look how is battery life after 2 or 3 charge Zyklus..

Dl the full B392 SP01 and not the last. Read please the precedent posts in new firmware B392SP01 ( dload method, two files to unzipp and flashing them one by one) and enjoy the B392SP01.
I got "most likely removed from server" message when tried to download or check changelog
Has anyone tried HWOTA by mankindtw ? We should be able to flash non-flashable packages through fastboot with such a tool. Still no one confirmed working with Honor 8.

Can anyone give me the sizes of each files unzipped?
Today and again with FF, only one file given ( update.zip) ( 1,31 Go dl and 2,67 Go unzipped) !!!

My Oppo from Italy is so special. Local update didnt work or any VPN too.

If this file doesnt work for me this will mean that my Oppo is a strange copy
