I got the update to L29C185B520 by subscribing to huawei beta program as mentioned somewhere in the forum. Got the notification 10 days after. It's a 2.1 GB download and not the final version.

You need to register as beta tester for Nougat.

You mean boot animation.. No i have Chinese changeloc but u can put these in Google translater.. For now not much.. There is a new security patch from 1. Dezember and i don't know but it feels a lil bit faster and smoother as the B562... Now I have to look how is battery life after 2 or 3 charge Zyklus..

Um sorry bro. I wont update it to MM coz i just read that there's a fps drop on the MM that would leave my constant memory of 1.1gb memory free to go down to 600mb (OF RAM) but the battery will last dramatically as the other reviews said and also because of the doze function of MM. Just go with a custom ROM, your only choice and believe me it's better than EMUI 4 on honor 5x

Assuming you mean Android 7/N....you can grab Firmware Finder off the Play Store to manually download the OTA off Huawei's server.
Or download from www.hihonor.com just put a search in to locate firmware
Once here go to Support and then Software
Once here click on the tabs to locate firmware OR enter a search for said firmware
The newest one on their site for L04 is from August or so.

I'm eager to try Nougat as well, but from what I'm reading the battery performance on it isn't too good so I'm willing to wait it out. No rush on my end, although if given the option to flash it right now, I'd probably bite.

They have stopped the beta testing (for users). I got this from their representatives. May be soon stable release.

My first on time android upgrade. This is the reason I bought a pixel. It's awesome.
I just tried hitting the check for updates button like 20 times since it was announced.. nothing came through. I had a brainstorm and noticed that everyone that posted up screenshots had their phones plugged. I gave it shot, hit the check for updates button and bam.. downloading the OTA now. Perhaps this may help if anyone is not getting and not understanding why, plug your phone in and check again!
