My galaxy s7 edge screen timeout during video play back and even during game play. It just times out in any activity. I have turned on smart stay features and it didnt help. Could someone please help in resolving this issue. Is this a know issue or if my handset is faulty? thanks

Every since i got the OTA for 7.0 on my AT&T SGS7 Edge, i sometimes get this randomly echoy sound. Like if i hold the home button for google assistant, the AI sounds like its talking from inside an empty room and its very echoy. Same if i try to use something like navigation in google maps.
It doesn't always do this, usually if i close out and reopen it works, but its quite annoying. Anyone have this issue?
Anyone else experiencing issues with the "keep screen turned off" feature after upgrading to nougat? I noticed that after upgrading, this feature stopped working. It was working fine prior to updating to nougat. I'm on Rogers S7 edge.
I've tried factory resetting my phone but the feature is still not working. I've tested the sensor with the test menu and the sensor seems to be working, so it seems like it's a software issue? Any one else experiencing this or know how to fix it?

I have the same issue. It fixes itself after a restart but after a while the "keep screen turned off" fails again.

Is this where while on a call, you press the power button and the screen turns back on? If so, I'm getting that too.

It's a big problem for me because I basically can't use my phone in my car any more.
On outgoing or incoming calls the damn screen turns on and keeps on
and after a short while I accidently press one of the on-screen buttons and my call is aborted or muted.

I too have this issue. I am using the lockscreen until Samsung fixes this.
Hey guys I had the S6 edge and had issues while typing, the edges would get touched and put in characters that I didn't want there, it was annoying. Is anyone having an issue while typing in the S7 edge?
I use SwiftKey which detects the edges and doesn't show any key in the curved area.

I use kii. I have never had that problem. I can't imagine it happening too much if you swipe to type. My case may help the edges from being touched inappropriately too. Something you may want to consider is that it is hard to find a good screen protector for S7 edge.
my phone touch screen pressing. I can't seem to use swipe without making mistakes on YouTube app.
When I try to scroll it keeps thinking I'm clicking.
