What is the most Stable ROM? - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm coming back to the G2 and have to admit...I'm a little rusty with Root/ROMS etc.
What would you guys recommend as the most stable ROM to use for a daily driver?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions you can provide!

Use cloudy 3.3 + latest dorimanx kernel

Thanks Panther.
Soon as my replacement G2 gets here I'll check it out!

Confirmed. Cloudy with Dorimanx. No reboots, no freezes. (I really know it because I'm running Macrodroid which shows every reboot in the notification bar.)

Guess this can sum up what you guys have already been saying

Cloudy G2 KK is the best ROM but low android version, Cloudy Lollipop is second best but newer android version, Cloudy Lollipop with Dorimanx Kernel is best.
Also Good ROM = Ressurection Remix but all this other ROM's which not stock got **** camera, sound and Battery life.

Share: Best Rom and Kernel for Screen On Time(SOT)

So the basis of this thread is for people to post their best combination of custom kernel and rom for their Sprint LG G2 LS980 that provides great screen on time.
So what are your best combinations?
I flashed Dorimanx Kernel v4.7 and CloudyFlex 2.3 yesterday and I am having different thoughts about it. I'm at 1:53 SOT at 78%
This is to help each other, please include what version of the kernel and rom!
Thanks!

after trying all ll rom that exists, I have not found one that does not bug either overheating or battery problems ... I think back to the most stable I've ever install cloudyg2 2.2 forever

You could try cloudyg3.1 with latest dorimanx kernel. Works fine for me else you could always try an stock debloated rom with dorimanx.

@wulsic thank you very much for your comments, I wonder why people are so excited to update their phone for a version that provides only bugs and nothing new really :-\ sorry for my English

No problem well I as an old nexus user was also always very excited for a new OS update because the changes are just massive which not all users notice under the hood and that's why I am always excited for that. The thing is that every new piece of software comes with it own bugs. Never in my entire life I have seen software without any bugs. But that's life.
i'm on a vs980 and I agree cloudy 2.2 is fabulous. Recently I started using cloudy 3.1 and (atleast on my device) its been equally as stable/fast and battery friendly. I like the g4 dial app, but aside from that i could just as easily stick with cloudy 2.2.

What is the best rom?

CloudyG2 3.3
CloudyG2 2.2
CM13
performance and battery life.

You should flash each one and see what you like best.
Out of those three, Cloudyg2 3.3 is best imo
cm13 is garbage - decent battery but poor performance/stability/camera.
Rooted and debloated stock(w/ xposed if you want) is better than all.
Yes Sir! :good:
But have bugs on 5.0.2 version.. (cloudy 3.3) and kitkat better than 5.0.. no?

i would say power g2 rom
chelozteam full 4.0
icex
cloudy.
All were better months ago....
This is a hard ? To answer what rom might be good to my device and need might not suit yours imo cloudy has always been rock sollid enough to run on any g2 or g3

Lol performance is worse on cm13? Did you even try it? It's much better than any stock rom, everything is smooth. You clearly don't know what you are talking about. True for stability and camera, completely wrong about performance

Whats the best kernel for LO Stock?

Hello, I have recently bought an LG G2 for 100€ and I love this smartphone! Im on L Stock 5.0.2 with only root and TWRP. So, what is the best kernel for battery and performance?
Or the best accoppiate for kernel+rom? Thanks! This thread will help a lot of users.

I prefer stock. For me it has best balance between stability, performance and battery.
