my Windows Media Player in my Magician does not save the last audio volume it always remains at 70 if i close it and re-open it whatever volume i set it to e.g. 100%.
the other thing is that when i decrease the volume to 0% i can still hear the song playing albeit in a more quiet volume.
anybody faced this problem before? please help
many thanks in advance
once upon a tima i had the same problem.
it has to do with the system volume (tap the speaker in your task bar to adjust). if you set up this volume to 70% your media player will take the same value. just change your system volume and the wmp will change, too
i have the same problem... the system volume is set to 100% but player still comes up as 70% everytime. any reg hack?
Same here...
Although I wanted to turn the volume down really low so I could listen to music at work and still hear whats going on around me. Which you can't do. Even if you set it to 0% (with the system volume at one notch off mute).
Have had to buy a set of headphones with an inline volume control...ho hum..
My player volume stays at what I set it to though.
Cheers

OK my eyes hurt from looking. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to increase the sound of media player? I have the volume at 100% yet it is still very quiet. I appreciate your help
Maybe stating the obvious but it will get asked: Have you increased you system volume too? Click on the speaker at the top and the left slider (with the phone icon) is the system volume.
I have a similar issue - but also I find the volume contorl to be non-linear, so will be interested to see what else is suggested here.
Gav.
Yeah, I really with the two were independent, or you could control the ring volume apart from the system volume, or something of that nature. I often have to increase the system volume to hear Windows Media Player. This wouldn't be a problem if the ring volume wasn't also affected.
I'm having a problem with sound. When I reboot I have to connect earphones instantly - if I connect it too late, the volume boost is extremely low. I can compare 1/3 of normal volume to maximum of the bar after loss of gain. I have to reboot my device everytime I want to listen to music, because the volume is so low. I have stock ROM, switching between kernels haven't fixed the issue.
Hi there
I recently tried flashing noguat (ressurection remix) and I love it, it feels a lot smoother and faster but a included feature for nougat is bothering me
When I connected my phone to my bluetooth speaker on marshmellow (h2os) I was able to turn the volume up and down separately on both the phone and on the speaker but now they share the same volume level so if I turn the volume up on the phone I can see the speaker also turns up the volume.
This is a problem for me since android dosen't have enough volume steps so when I listen to very low volume music it's now either too low or too high since I can't fine tune the volume on the speaker
So my question is: Can i somehow unlink the bluetooth volume? Or maybe add more steps to the bluetooth volume?
TL;DR: On Nougat the bluetooth volume is linked, can I somehow unlink it so it's like it was on marshmellow (h2os)
Thanks

I recently upgrad Moto G4 plus, 7 to 8.1
And problem is very low volume and sound, I checked speaker it's ok
Same problem faced in 7 please help me how to increase volume Sounds ????
It might be overall low volume in the device or the audio file you're playing has low volume. Other things you can try is download 3rd party app to multiply the audio volume. Hope that helps.
No I check, this is software or internal device setting problem
