Since switching back to stock lollipop firmware from a custom rom, I'm continuously seeing this message "Unauthorised actions have been detected" in my notification bar. When I open it, it takes me to smart manager where I've got an option of reboot. After rebooting it takes me to TWRP, nothing else happens after TWRP opens.
Any fix for that?

TWRP may be the cause of this. Or root, if present.

But if I delete this system app, would I lose another function too? I mean does this app lead to another system function like SystemUI and other system apps do?
Sorry for bad English.

Hmm yes I'm thinking to go for android 4.3 now rather then 5.0.1.
Depending on the model of you phone, I'm not sure if you can downgrade to 4.3 from 5.01. If you can't, Odin should not flash the ROM.

Another way I observe:
Is to delete every entries Knox-related from init.rc on the ramdisk. But it only reported to work on i9500, since I'm doing the same on SM-J200G some of them still report this one.

No it shouldn't. It does it for me when I delete the app cache. Do you have a setting somewhere that will clean the app cache on every reboot? I had that option somewhere on a different rooted android device.

It is TWRP recovery. It takes the place of the stock recovery. That is what the instructions that I followed to root the phone said to do. It said to use that one or CWM.

If you flashed stock firmware via Odin, then you are automatically unrooted.

Thanks for reply, i mean how to delete folders from the root, they are still here after full wipe and reset
That's what I'm saying. The best way to unroot your phone is by installing the stock firmware via Odin. If you did this then maybe the folders are supposed to be there.

A folder called root too?
I guess. I never tried to unroot a phone before. So I don't know exactly.
You could try and delete it. But if the folder is supposed to be there then deleting it might brick your phone.

Actually after flashing the stock one you can simply make a factory reset and then you have a clean unrooted phone except for knox of course

What's up everyone. I swapped my iPhone for an S5 that has MOAR ROM installed. The guy reflashed the phone clean when we swapped and when it booted back up I have no phone icon. I can get calls if someone calls me, but I have no icon to make a call and the lock screen icon doesn't work.
Is there any way to just flash an apk file vs. having to reflash and set everything up again?
Thanks in advance.

I'll have to look in the MOAR thread to figure out how to install it. I'm not familiar with phones that use safestrap.

****in A that worked!!! Thanks so much!!
And just so I know for the future, if i want to reflash the rom clean. I just want to make sure I have the steps down correctly:
flash n12 kernel
boot into recovery via safestrap
flash rom
boot into download mode
flash oa8 kernel
Is that correct?
no

Do a full wipe before you install the ROM (everything but SD card). I did not go back into download mode and flash the OA8 kernel. I just let it boot right up and it worked great.
Ok so I flash the n12 kernel to get into safestrap, do a full wipe, flash the rom, flash the oa8 kernel then reboot. Where in Odin do I put the kernel?

Kernels go in the ap slot. After you flash MOAR, don't do anything else. Just let your phone boot itself up.
after I flash moar, I don't touch anything and flash the oa8 kernel? I thought I needed to be in download mode to use odin

This is a recently released OTA for Beta users by Lenovo anyone can install this if you are using the stock recovery. For TWRP some mods. should be done to the package.
Link : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4gp1Lef7g4aT3B2N0otQjJZSUU/view
Install method : Just download and rename it to update.zip that's all, keep it in the root directory of the phone and boot into recovery to insatll the update.
P.S. This is not my work, this is directly from Lenovo. So, don't point your fingers at me if you do something wrong Anything you do is on your own and you should face the consequences
Updated using stock recovery by pressing vol+, vol- and power button simultaneously..

Sound quality on speaker and headphones increased.
Sudden stopping of music while changing songs using headphone buttons problem solved.
UI is very smooth, no lag, no heat issues.
In my openion you must update.

There is a file called update script in the zip that file needs to be edited using notepad++, there are some lines of code in the starting of that file that needs to be modified. I haven't checked it out yet but I'll try to make a flash able zip for twrp as soon as I'm free.

It can be flashed via the proper recovery for x3_row. But, yeah, system shouldn't be modified before applying OTA.
