And I must say, the adhesiveness is absolutely horrible. I tried to go with the 3 piece skin first, because it seemed nice, and it just wasn't cut out for the actual phone. Plus the corners never stayed down correctly. I tried the full body skin. Corners won't stay down plus the edges on the phone flare up. Just horrible situation right now.

Should've used Dbrand skins. Haven't failed me yet.
Wow that's really disappointing since I've already order and it's on the way to me to receive by next week.
But still not have even the phone
With that huge delay in availability in Europe seems first will get the skin and the phone have to wait much further.
Totally frustrating.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll make sure to order any skins from DBrand.

I didn't, but I didn't feel like asking females on campus for a hairdryer either. All of the adhesion on the corners was gone anyway.
I received mine as well, this past Monday. I love using these types of skins, but there's always one of two issues. Either the skins themselves are imprecise, or my application is off. I ordered the black carbon fiber. I followed all the directions and made sure to use a hairdryer to apply the edges. In the end, it came out OK, but the edges are a little rough. I still have my full body skin and I just received my DBrand skin, just on case this skin doesn't last.
Here's some shots of my Slickwrap handy work.

For sure... i hope they are good...even if they arent... it was only 2.85 hahahaha
These are terrible. They are not properly cut. Avoid.
I got one a while ago (posted in turn Fascinate accessories forum about it). I'm only using the back part for extra grip so far. Yeah, they're not cut the greatest, but it's really not that hard to pull the apart, just might need a tweezers or something. Anyway, for the price, you can't go wrong.
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA App
It wasn't bad for 2.85, but like they said, the back only covers the actual back and not the sides. The front was cut great but there was a defect in my front screen and it has lines running down the whole right side of the screen. Other than that it's awesome.
I really like mine, for less than $3.00 you can't go wrong. Read the instructions before you install though.

I bought the Extreme Guard ($5 shipped from Amazon) before seeing this. It works very well. My only complaint is that while it covers the sides/edges they could've done a little better getting the cut-out to get the entire surface (it covers about 98% of the back but there are small gaps on the corners where the phone curves). Overall it was a solid deal as well. I can't comment on the screen protector's quality as I already had another one on that I like and haven't felt like swapping it out yet.
I can't post links yet but you shouldn't have a problem searching for it on Amazon
Fishy...
Anybody else getting the StealthGuards website complaining that cookies are not enabled, and a little how-to guide on enabling them in Internet Explorer?
First of all, Cookies work for me on other websites JUST fine in both Chrome and Firefox. No problems. So it seems like the Stealth Guards website wants me to be using IE. ...Like I said, it feels fishy. Maybe it's just a glitch on the site for tonight.
Regardless, I'm updating my copy of MalwareBytes(.org) and running a scan. Call me paranoid. Whatever. Oh. and they have the price for the Fascinate screen protector listed as "free" right now too.
*edit* it could be just b/c I wasn't logged in yet that it wouldn't allow me to "add to cart" but every legitimate website I've gone to in the past few years has simply asked me to sign-up/sign-in after clicking add to cart.
I saw a couple other forums where people said that the website felt shady as well. I guess I'll stick with my Invisible Shield. It may have cost a lot more, but I've already used the warranty once, and I used it once or twice on my old Cowon S9 player as well.
Hmmm about those cookies
I actually did experience the exact cookie issue your referring too, however it cleared itself up when went to the website directly and did not use the provided link to the item.
The issue occurred in FFox, Chrome and IE8 which is why I got a little suspicious, but as I said as soon as went the web home as it were, the issue was resolved.

Mine took around 2 weeks as well, as mentioned it will be in plain white envelope your "not to bad of a Zagg knockoffs" will be incognito appearing as junk mail. Although getting all the bubbles out on the battery cover is difficult (as other brands may be as well) I'm sure they will work out fine.
*side note*
Verizon sales new fascinate battery covers for about 5.00$ free shipping, I ordered 2 with government discount for 8.00 shipped. I'm coating one with spray on rubber insulation like used on grips for tools. To get a good no slip grip. 8.00 at Home Depot in a spray can in flat black.
Right, I got me s4 on release day in UK (well 27th noth 26th), all was good until tonight, I just got me s3 back from a mate today who put a new front glass on it (broke in my pocket a couple a months ago but was usable, cost me £12 for glass and £20 to get fitted)
Sat down on sofa tonight and heard a cracking noise, took my s4 outta me pocket and the bottom 3/4 of the screen was black. Samsung phones build quality is s****, don't get me wrong I'm the biggest Samsung fan there is, it's the only tv or phones in my house but to break in my pocket after 2 weeks. NOT ON.
The good news is I contacted O2 uk straight away and they have a new phone on the way since its insided the 28 days from purchase. You can guess I've ordered a few cases to protect it but if its gonna break with a bit of stress in your pocket no case will save it.
I know your bound to be thinking "this mad man must haved a screw driver or sum other sharp instrument in his pockets" but I don't, just my wallet and maybe a few loose coins.
Anyone else have any issues like me or am I the only one.
Cheers,
Glynn

You are not the first one to mention your screen cracked simply from having the phone in your pocket. A few pages back you find this topic http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2260083
Note they mention it's the LCD itself that shattered, not the Gorilla Glass. At this point I could not buy an S4 without constantly worrying about my device. I will see what phones the late summer/fall will bring.
Too much surface glass on this device for a pocket. That 5" display and a small bezel is a fragile combination.

IMHO.
I'm one of the others who's LCD cracked while phone was in pocket, but three said they would charge me just to look at it, then charge me again as is physical damage and was fine for the first week!
I've now sent it back to Samsung, who have said they will charge me to fix it, still waiting on the quote!
So your very lucky O2 are shipping you a new phone.
As probably 80% of phone owners carry their phones in their pockets, it's very worrying that Samsung seem to have made a phone that can easily break if carried that way!

i received my s7 edge today, and found some things that are worrying me. first, the writing on the bottom of the back of the phone is barely noticeable, and definitely not readable. second, it states on the box, that it was made in vietnam. i haven't read anywhere of samsung having phone fabricated in vietnam.
on the other hand, everything works perfectly. i downloaded aida64, and it has the sony sensor on the back camera. it is listed as a 935f, and not some other wierd letter. the everything i have tested has worked flawlessly. but i can't get over worrying that the other shoe will fall after it's too late to return.
so i need for those who have a g935f, to let me know if you can easily read the writing at the bottom of the back cover, and if you have one that was fabricated in vietnam, i'd like to know if you have had any problems with it at all. thanks!!!
You can tell if it's fake, Samsung's are made in Korea and Vietnam the small text on the back is hard for anyone to read

The screen is made of cheap glass material.
this is the one thing i can't tell. it's shiny and beautiful, but i'm not sure of the glass quality.
2
The screen is too far from the edge.
(Cloned phones have a wide gap between the edge of the screen and the edge of the phone).
no, no gaps.
3
The screen is not as bright and vibrant as the original device's.
the screen is very bright and beautiful.
4
Some of the sensors are not available.
can't find one of the sensors which isn't working.
5
The Home button is not located in the exact same spot as the one on the genuine item.
the home button seems correctly located
6
The Samsung logos are not smoothed out and can be felt; rubbing it will also remove the logo.
no, they are smooth and under the glass.
7
The device's proportions different than that of the genuine product.
seems like the same dimensions, as it fits properly into my cases.
8
Gaps between parts like the home, power, and volume buttons are obvious.
no gaps at any of these buttons.
9
When the battery cover is opened, some of the small components do not match with the original ones.
Was this step helpful? Yes | No | I need help
can't take the battery cover off the s7 edge.
10
The phone does not have a seal from the National Communications Agency or an equivalent agency in your country.

of course with samsung everything that seems like it would be that easy, never is. samsung america will NOT comment whatsoever on the g935f, because it is not an american device. they act like they are completely handicapped if you ask them about anything that is NOT carrier specific. It, of course, was the first thing i did. then i tried to call the uk customer support, but the time difference kept screwing that up. and on top of all that, i had to make a decision today, or get stuck. so that is why i was buggin.
however, tonight i drove across town to the bestbuy, and held a few of theirs in my hands while the guys were busy with other customers, and that made me feel a lot better, as several of those also had writing that was hard to see. only on the edge, not the reg s7, which was very clear. then i had the samsung rep look it over, check all the coding and he said it was legit. so i am done. i will keep it, and feel great about it. all day it has performed very well, and all sensors work perfectly. i've done motion sensors, bluetooth, cameras, wifi, etc... it all checked out. so thank you for anyone who commented to this thread. i appreciate the efforts. cheers!

So the writing on the back is blacked out because of the change from the fCC that doesn't mandate the imei and other info be displayed. So since the phone is blacked out they made it dark so you can see if you look closely but not if you are far away. Phone is made in multiple locations, and honestly only way to be 100% sure is to check hardware which you did. That can't be spoofed easily and takes work. Also, if it's real you should be able to register it on Samsung's website. If you can register it. Chances are your are good.

Anyway, I have always used skinomi screen protectors, they work great, dont scratch easily, good instructions and when put on correctly, you cant even tell its there. Nor will it ever come off. Its almost on too well. Anyway, another reason is their lifetime warranty. Now, I learned that it really only covers a few scenarios, i had to get a replacement device due to the sdcard thing. So i went ahead and emailed skinomi to see if i had a chance. Boy did i get lucky. Now, i dunno if this is a once in while thing, or maybe the person on the other end just felt nice. But they went ahead and sent me a replacement. I HIGHLY recommend Skinomi products I can attest to their quality ever since my first android phone, The HTC Evo. I have nevet used anything ells, and I never will again!!

I'm with you. I love the Skinomi screen protectors and have had good customer service experience with them.
*****I am not a part of their company nor have I been paid to make this post, they just make a good product.
Cut him some slack. He's not a newbie preaching about some product for his first thread, been here a few years now, and if you look at his past threads this is the first time talking about skinomi, or any product for that matter.
He's just giving his opinion.
More importantly this is why you buy screen protectors with Lifetime Warrantys ONLY
I stopped buying skinomi when I purchased a full body skin for my daughters Fire HD 7 a year ago. They no longer use 3m, and the junk they shipped only had 3 of the 4 side/edge pieces. The pieces didn't fit properly and were almost impossible to remove (likely from not using 3M). Skinomi will never get another dollar from me.
No, I didn't even bother to tell them how atrocious their stuff is, I assume they know. Someone put that mess in a box and then shipped it to me and didn't care.
So I say stay away from Skinomi (and ArmorSuit too) . IQ shield is the best I've tried yet, but they aren't perfect.

When I first received the device, yesterday matter of fact, the screen had a small rectangle in it. Looked like it was intentional but now after wiping down the phone with a microfiber cloth their are multiple holes. So what's the purpose of this? If it's so fragile a material that a microfiber cloth would harm it what's the point. I saw their was a Reddit thread on this also.
Thoughts?
It is a defect. They will replace your phone if you have that. I just received a replacement device and mine had the same issue.
