Hello guys, i have my s7 edge for a month now and I downloaded an app called Hardware info.
I have some issue with it, because it's showing me only 3,5gb of ram, a display that is only full hd (1920*1080) at 480 dpi, unknown processor with 8 cores @ 1586Mhz max..
Is it normal ?? I have the european version of the s7 edge.

EDIT : AIDA64, CPU Z and Droid Hardware Info show the right things (2k display, 534dpi, recognized processor) but still shows 3,5 gb of ram, is that normal ?

i think the app didnt get the permission to use phone sources... that is the problem...

Download the app called phone info instead it is much better at determining the phones specs.

A small portion of the physical memory on every device is hardware reserved, usually for the on-board GPU, hence the reason why you only see 3562 MB of RAM.

Just as ssrij has stated a small portion of the ram is reserved for the gpu and other functions of the phone. It is the same principle on computers where not all of the ram is available to the end user.

I've just got my Moto X directly from Motorola this afternoon (Retail Version), and I've noticed that our Moto X here in Brazil doesn't have the Auto CSP functionalitie (for those who doesn't know, its a functionalitie that fills the number for a long distance call with the Provider Service Code, common here in Brazil).
Talking to Motorola Customer Support they've told me that this functionalite isn't present in the build.
So, here's my Tip for you, download this app:

Hi, friends! I'm Brazilian too... I want to buy the Moto X, I come from HTC One, but the purple camera caught me... I saw this phone on Fast and FNAC. It's a very good phone, very good design, and good price but the camera has neither good comments... The HTC One (Ultrapixel) is a very good camera, Is the Motorola's MotoX good with photos or is a disaster? I don't use Cameras with me (Canon, Fuji, Sony), I use only the phone....

The camera is just "ok" without the proper fix that we did not received yet.

Dude, this is normal. Those last two CPU's only get activated when the phone is doing heavy duty stuff like gaming and such. Mine is the same and im pretty sure everybody's else's is to.
Cpu spy still not support stat for 2nd cpu so it doesn't show up.

Yep that is true , when i had Note 5 there were one governor that Arter97 brought that almost was perfect, cafeactive. it utilized CPU as it should be, i know because as far as cpu intensive games, Tekken 6 on ppsspp emulator is super intensive, and it worked perfect, but it had problem with heavy 3d games so it got replaced
Use other apps. Cpu spy don't show them all for exynos cpu.

I've been using the awesome icons app for ages on my stock s7 Edge on marshmallow, last night I was upgraded to Nougat, since then I've noticed that although the icons are still changed the unread badges are no longer working.
Does anyone have any ideas or alternative apps that I can use, I'm unrooted and want to stay that way.

I have the exact problem too, desperate to seek for a solution. I emailed the app developer already, but they didn't reply me........ I tried other similar apps, they have the same problem....maybe it is a big of Samsung or Nougat.......
If you find a solution please let me know and I'll do the same, it's such a shame as it's ruining my lovely theme.

And there are other bugs too. Push notification delay all the time, or even no notification at all. I didn't use any power saving....
Nougat is a nightmare.......

Yes, they replied me too. Same answer.
I think it is a big of nougat, maybe it need to be fix by Samsung.........try to contact with Samsung developer then.
