Have you still noticed the signal lost issue while using HoloM?

Pretty nice custom theater room. Looks comfy in this dark environment. And I am pretty sure that screen on time is unlimited and it depends on how long you want to watch TV or a movie.

Nope.,,not at all. Look at the battery graph pic i've attached before. The signal are always in good condition.

Have you, by any chance, use the profile and the modded kernel adiutor optionally provided with the kernel?

Battery performance on official ICS

Anyone else noticed a significant shorter battery life since updating to ICS?
For me it drains almost twice as fast as it did on honeycomb :crying:
Everything else works great for me, no compatibility issues with any of my apps, sooo much smoother than honeycomb, many great new features. Also I haven't had any problems with wifi like some users reported yet.
Mine settled after wiping dalvik-cache. Being afraid to wipe in ICS I just used terminal to go to... dalvik-cache, deleted all the files and re-booted.

Mine is better actually
As mentioned above try wiping the cache. Also maybe you flashed a European version on a HK Tab? I guess radios are different and possibly your previous radio was better suited to the network where you live? That actually makes a huge difference

I live in austria, got my tab via three austria, and flashed official rom for austria. So I guess that should work fine.
I will try wiping the dalvik cache, see if that makes any difference. Thanks for the suggestion.
Also make sure to leave your wifi on even when sleeping, that makes a big difference, even if it doesn't seem logical.
My battery is also better on ICS
I have the Australian 6810 32GB version and it has now had the UK ICS ROM image flashed for a couple of weeks.
The battery is a lot better than it was on HC, as is the overall performance. I did a clean install using desktop ODIN with a full wipe.
Well, wiping the cache didn't help. I figured out what's the issue anyways: I use my tab on lowest possible brightness setting most of the time but the lowest setting in ICS is brighter than the lowest setting in HC was. That causes me to have more overall drain when using the tab, while standby time stays the same.
Does anyone know an app or something that allows me to set the brightness as low as I could on honeycomb?

You should change the title of this thread, Facets has nothing to do with MKBHD and has been around for awhile. You should change the title to show something like "New App: Facets Wallpapers", etc.

1. These wallpapers are NOT 4K (the OP was wrong). Take a look at their image infos. Their resolution is 2560x1440, which is more like 2.5K.
2. Do you use your home screen in landscape mode? If not, then you'll need a wallpaper that's at least 1080x1920 (not 1920x1080). The height of the wallpaper has to be at least 1920px.
Take the default Nexus 5 wallpaper, it's 2160x1920 (that's 2K already, far bigger than 1080p). Non-parallax wallpapers (such as on the HTC One) are 1080x1920. What's consistent here is the image height of 1920px - because we use our homescreens in portrait mode.
A horizontal 1920x1080 desktop wallpaper does not have the height of 1920px, unless you rotate them to portrait. Since these Facets have heights of 1440px, it's still smaller than 1920px. Ultimately, after looking for wallpapers with heights of at least 1920px, you'll probably end up with near-4K wallpapers, if not 4K already - although anything bigger than 2160x1920 will not make a difference.
3. Now, sir, do you get why people bother with 4K on their phones? Tell me if I hadn't made myself clear enough.
4. I respect you and your choice of wallpapers. So if you feel comfortable with 1920x1080 wallpapers on your 1080x1920 phone, I have no problem with that.

Yes I agree that any resolution exceeding 2160x1920 would be unnecessary, if that's what you mean.

Stock LG lollipop does look nice. Looking at videos (which I know aren't final releases), I noticed a lack of the lollipop app open/close animation, which I was a bit upset about.
Waiting for CM to get to a more stable point to flash, then hoping CM gets their lollipop on soon

I agree. I had an n5. Having good Roms and **** getting updated daily isn't as good as it seems to be, 1 your battery never optimizes, 2 there's always bugs and reboots and kernel crashes that seem to get fixed after a while but more problems occur.
After g3 tweaksbox, gravity box (just for pie controls), aosp theme for icons and pulldown it feels like a nexus. But you cant beat having an sd card removable battery, this camera quality and this speaker. Yea i had to use a kernel with faux gamma and sound (skydragon) and greenify to get nexus smooth but i dont really mind that
I tried going back to stock android but I just find the g3 is better

Witch One ROM is the best?

I tested a lot of custom roms, and I still don't know witch one can be the best. I prefer ROM with very good battery time(I don't play in any games), I use xposed with a lot modules.
Now I have installed Hydrogen Os with boeffla kernel+ extreme battery profile+xposed. I am very happy, 3 days on battery but low performance
Please write something about yours roms

Why aren't my notifications, umm notifying me?
In an effort to stop your annoying ringtone going off every two seconds for "Free coins, today only!" and "You've won a free iPad" the H2OS team have a "feature" called priority notifications.
This makes the user have to manually select on a per app basis which apps are allowed to notify/alert the user of a notification and these become "priority notifications" whereas non-priority are still notifications but they just do not notify/alert you. You can set this either by clicking the icon at the top right of you notification bar and also via Settings --> Apps and permissions --> App notifications.

Tried that and doesn't always work for hanghouts and Facebook messenger. Also took them out of hibernation, any ideas?
I'm Currently using Cm12.1 with Cm kernel (The one which is pre loaded in rom) getting 8hrs of SOT Pretty Smooth than OOS! Really alot customization! You don't even need Gravity Moudle in that Rom. It have nearly everything! Hope so Op releases M update soon, so the rom would be pretty stable with working FP and LAF
Im on skydragon now. It is much smoother than stock. Performance is slightly better. Sot around 4h. Battery drain is 5% per 6h in indle. Its many but ok

Yes I have, it seem to be working fine, I am happy about spilt screen, but wifi seem to worse then with the Xceed kernel, but I need to do more testing.
It's very janky compared to M with xceed kernel. 3DMark performance drops by nearly 1k points, 3D games (from brief tests) are extremely janky and nearly unplayable.
There appears to be sqlcipher issues - anything using sqlcipher will crash, most likely due to the heightened NDK security.
Definitely not something you'd want to use unless you're a developer wanting to make sure your stuff works with android N.
Non-rooted pixel c running great on N

The device with N is sluggish, any app that relies on sqlcipher (many do) will crash/not work, many apps crash outright including Google's own apps. That said notifications do appear to work fine, the OS itself has some nice updates... although it will inexplicably start lagging at times. Battery life is horrible compared to a device running with the xceed kernel, and wifi also has issues especially on ipv6 routers.
I wouldn't use it as a daily driver - it really is ONLY good at the moment as a test device for writing your own applications that you want to either 1) take advantage of what it brings to dev work or 2) you really want to make sure your app works with N early on (problematic because this early from the N release there are bound to be many changes)
Not rooted. Running N today. 7 hours of normal use. (no video or gaming) still at 82%........absolutely loving the battery life!
Sent from my Pixel C using Tapatalk
I've been running it since yesterday afternoon and both battery life and performance have been satisfactory. I agree that things run a little slower on N than they did on MM, but that's kinda part of the process IMHO - it's a beta after all.
I wonder if there have been any changes in USB-C display support in the N preview? I haven't tried it myself but has anyone else?
I can confirm the amazing battery life! Also no Display Adapter available here.

It's good for daily use for me too. Some Apps not working yet, mostly video content apps like Sky Go Germany or a news portal, but I can live without them for now.
Only one important thing: It didn't recognise my 5Ghz wifi network at home when the router was in automatic channel mode. When I set it to channel 36 it was fine. Apparently the Pixel has issues with some 5Ghz channels, but if you have access to your router that shouldn't be a problem.
I received mine yesterday and went straight to N. I now understand how generous people were being to the Pixel C in reviews considering what it shipped with. It took me 15 minutes to get through the setup wizard because the touch screen was so unresponsive. I have no idea how this thing was approved for sale.
That said N (and im sure patched MM) is running great so far.

I guess it must be luck of the draw, as I got mine 2days ago and barring 1 reboot, it's been fantastic. I'm leery of updating to N as it's been so good.
