Guys i really need your help. I need a working N910G rooted device with custom recovery. My device is Note 4 N910G, but is already deadboot. no ODIN no Recovery not Responding anymore but only detected as Qualcom device in computer. I need someone of my same phone model to flash unbrick creator via custom recovery. It will automatically create unbrick files which will i be needing for to restore back to life my device. I hope someone will kindly upload the file unbrick files created for my device after that I could flash it through my sd card using Win32 disk image loader. Then i will put the sd card on my deadboot phone and see if it goes to download mode. So i really need you guys to help me cause ive not yet exhausted the possibilities yet. i Havent tried this solution yet so if theres anyone whos willing to help could you kindly do it for me. Id really appreciate the thought of it. Thank you very much!!
PS i cant post external links yet so ill try to message it or send the links somewhere else for those willing to help me fix my n910G the unbrick creator file. thank you so much!
if someone might help me this could be the solution for almost all the deadboot issues with the n910G model so i hope someone cooperates and lets try to make the cure

Hello, i own a 9505x not a normal 9505, and flashing the existing custom recoveries, do nothing, since i cant boot them.
The root works fine.
Since this 9505x is a demo unit, it has some software restrictions i want to eliminate, like it wont turn off the screen and will keep on playing a Samsung demo, it wont take over 20seconds videos and some other annoying stuff, i am trying to make it a retail unit.
Any suggestions ?
Why did you post this here in "Android Development"?
Can some admin post it in q and a?
Noone owns one?
same here mate!
i got my hands on a i9505X at work (with sim tray and mmc slot) but i can't deactivate demo (retail) mode. everytime you poweroff the device it wipes every change.
it tried flashed a i9505 stock rom via Odin and it fails in the modem.bin part...
i was sucesslfull at rooting the device, but now my i9505X takes ages to boot (stuck in Samsung Galaxy S4 for a while) and has no wifi
i tried almost every i9050 kernel available with no luck...
any ideas?

Its working, i just messed up the recovery mode by flashing a i9505 recovery and now i cant restore it. I want to unroot it and flash the mew firmware from kies. Thats why i need the stock recovery
Any chance you can extract the stock firmware for your GT-I9505X and upload it please. I have the same device given to me by a Samsung Rep and I stupidly tried to install the stock formware for the i9500 varient and now its had it. It loads the samsung boot screen as soon as you turn it on and then just keeps restarting every 5 seconds. Im hoping if I can get hold of the original firmware and reflash it will work! Cant find the firmware anywhere!

Hi i have managed to hard brick my NOTE 3 N9005 International version <<stupid i know
I really need someone to help me ( a developer possibly??) and help me obtain the UNBRICK.img from the note 3 source code for the
N9005 so i can mount it to a SD card via Linux. As this is impossble for me to get myself (as my phone is hard bricked which means i cant turn it on!) i really need help
a similair unbrick image and unbrick method can be found here>> http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2476353
(but that image cant work for my n3 version)
Any body who helps will recieve a nice donation for their hard work (providing it works)
Thanks community for taking the time to read my message.

hey thanks for the reply,
no as the phone is hard bricked its 100% unusable, if it would even switch on that would be fantastic.
its more complex than soft brick.
im having the same problem... is your note alive again?
Return it and claim warranty, tell them that your phone suddenly went off and that you don't know the reason. They may replace the board for you.
wow thats sad

Then it's up to you to convince your client to return it to Samsung for warranty. As for recovering his data, that is the hard part.

Do you mean the bootloader that needs to be written as T-Flash to a microsd using Odin 3.09 or higher? (as per 13-58_SM-N900_Boot_Recovery_Guide_rev1.0.pdf) Isn't that just the same as sboot.bin written raw to first sectors of microsd?
I would be interested to hear if you managed to use that just for the "extreme hacking" angle of it :good:

this was back in October. I tried using an unbrick.img for the sm905 N3 Flashed to microsd and I was supposed to just
put in the sd card in my phone so it could boot into download mode but was unsuccessful as I needed an unbrick.img made up for my device

I do not think the microsd is enough - the Note3 ONLY boots from microsd if you short R4075 on the mainboard - there is a notice from Samsung service somewhere around with a name like 13-58_SM-N900_Boot_Recovery_Guide_rev1.0.pdf that describes the details (and comes with a good picture of what you need to short).

Take the battery out to power off the device then try getting into Download mode, reflash your Firmware and voila you're good to go

I think you need to state your country or look yourself for the firmware on sammobile.com and extract the bootloader
Or wait for someone else to reply. Good luck

You can't flash the bootloader from the SD card - this is very dangerous.
You have to use Download mode to touch these partitions.

Dear nicholaschum,
Thank you for the reply,
I know this thread is old but I hope that what I found will help someone who is facing the same situation,
After a little digging I found the problem was a hardware malfunction specifically the PMIC,
I just replace it and the phone worked again,
Your advice is appreciated and noted,
I wish you all the best,
Best regards

I am really sorry about that,
I was overseas supervising a project in the middle of a dessert which made me forget a couple of things but now I rememberd them and this post was one of them,
And thank you for your kindness,
I wish you to live healthy, happy and peaceful life.
There is no sudden death with these devices...the sudden. Death was an old story that happened with note 2 and s3 dude ..and it is gone after the kit Kat and jelly bean updates..
Yes exactly ,
The problem was when i asked my friend he only told me that he put the phone on the charger and went to sleep and in the morning BAM the phone was dead,
And i asked him if there was something wrong with the phone before and he said nothing,
But when i put a fully charged second battery in it nothing happen so i figured out it was the PMIC.
Thanks for the clarification.

You need a class 10 card for the guide, otherwise it will corrupt.
Well if you don't remember what is the official firmware you can use 3 methods
1.Visit the shop or the site where you bought it and ask about the firmware version otherwise just check it in the product info
2.If by any luck you have the brand box there is a section where it mentions about the phone details
3.Last you can try many firmwares one by one unless you find the stable one which will be easily to do with Odin V3 and if one firmware doesn't work simply load another one via download mode
*Tip*I once had a situations when i installed the wrong firmware and it literally couldn't even boot into download mode with the power + volume down way so i searched for it and the solution was to simply try other button methods it took me like 10 minutes but i figured out a way you better search for it cause there are plenty ways..
if you need any help feel free to find me [email protected] otherwise reply in the thread
Good Luck..
