Hi guys, i've some problems with my Bluetooth.
Yesterday i've tried to connect to a bluetooth speaker but my device seems to not find it. The speaker is working with the devices of my friends.
Tomorrow i was trying to connect my p8lite to the bluetooth radio of my car. My brother has a p8lite rooted and we have the same version(b574), he's finding the radio's bluetooth, but i'm not finding it. So my question is: is this an internal problem or a software side issue?
I've tried to reinstall the complete OS, wiped all partitions, mounted and searched on the internet but i didn't find nothing that can help me.
Is anyone else having this problem too? How can i solve this problem?
Thanks

Hi,
I've been trying to use CM6 and CM7 but with both versions I run into Bluetooth pairing issues. The main problem is seen when trying to pair from my phone to my car. I get asked to enter a pin (that has been displayed by the car), but only get a few seconds to do so before I get an error message displayed. I've tried various kernels (same problem), and I'm using the latest radio rom. Things seem to be fine with stock 2.1 and with wildpuzzle. When flashing the roms I'be made sure I clear the cache, the dalvik cache and reset to default. Is there anything else I can try?
Thanks
Andy
Hi Andy,
Did you ever get a fix for this? I am having a similar issue, however my device does not give me a prompt at all for the bluetooth passkey.
Thanks,
Jessica
Use bluetooth file transfer from market. It works
Didn't work for me, still looking for a way round this.
So I have searched the ROM threads and this thread and haven't found answer to my question so I am hoping someone here can assist me.
After installing CM10.1 latest, AOKP latest, and the latest Paranoid ROMs onto my N7 3G I am having a weird bluetooth issue. When I try to connect it to my car (2011 Ford Edge with Sync My Ford Touch system) the N7 will not let me enter the pairing code my car presents. Instead it presents its own pairing code which my car recognizes the first time and lets it connect. Then whenever I disconnect bluetooth (either by turning off the car, or Bluetooth on the N7), the car will not connect because the tablet says the pairing request failed because of code mismatch. It never did this prior to the latest versions of the above ROMs, and I haven't tried a pure stock ROM (oh, tried Timur's ROM too, but that is CM10.1 based anyway), so I am not sure if this is just the way the latest code base works or not.
Please help!
I need to re-pair my plantronics bluetooth headset every time i want to connect to my phone. it doesnt auto connect furthermore it doesnt connect when i tap on its name in bluetooth settings. i need to pair it each time i want to use it. It was normal 2 days ago. And the headset works normal i tried with other phones. I formatted persist and firmware with new clockwork mod recovery i wonder if it is because of that. I tried several roms including the flashing stock 4.3 JWR image from googles site with flashboot. but the problem persists no matter what i do. Please help me it is driving me crazy.
Nevermind I solved the problem by doing the things in this post

It seems that the problem started because i have formatted the persist folder.
posted twice please delete
After rooting my phone and installing tek 2.0 my Bluetooth confirmed devices dissappear after a phone restart. Anyone else experience this and/or find a fix?
Edit: Panicked. Sorry. Found the solution.
Hello,
Coming from the CRAP build on my 955FD. The new CRB7 build is causing my car Bluetooth to suddenly stop and then resume audio but with a significant delay. It did not do this in CRAP. I am rooted and am looking for any way to fix this issue. Everything else works. I tried to downgrade but I believe we cannot downgrade galaxy phone anymore (odin stuck). Any advice would be very helpful.
What about try freshly pair your phone with car ?
Also try delete cache from stock recovery (or twrp, base on what rec. you have)

Actually formatted my cars head unit and re added the phone. Deleting the cache doesn't help either.
Because I came from ZRA5 to CRB7 with no_wipe , and I dont have any problems with car BT audio.
I dont think anyone will have other response than backup your data and do a factory reset :/
Well atleast it pairs, i cant connect to bt earbuds at all. Tried with a set of a friend aswell and the result was the same.
Atleast my usb c earbuds are finally working properly.
Actually found out my radar was causing the issue with bluetooth delay. Weird.
