which rom were you using ?

If it is failing to flash the aboot file, the ROM may not have been made for the phone. Also try using different USB cables and USB ports.
The model number is gt-19506 in download mode?

Not possibile. The stock firmware doesn't show the warning for using another kernel during boot. Where did you get the firmware ?

Simply download your firmware from here: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/GT-I9506/ as audit13 suggest to you.
Region of firmware isn't important. But check the md5 after downloading to verify it isn't corrupted.

Did you use the original Samsung USB cable? I have found that the s4 is very picky about the USB cable when flashing with Odin.

Galaxy grand 2 sm g7102 error in installing and stuck on recovery rebooting

Hi guys. I'm seriously new with this. My brother's phone was having a problem with WA's update at first. So, I thought that we need to update the OS. So, we did and we're stuck with the screen showing 'Installing system update>95%>Error!' then this 'Recovery booting' repeatedly. Even right now and we can't even access it. Please help.

This will sound counter intuitive, but try removing the battery and then attaching it to your computer, I've had varied success with this.
That's all I can think of, if Odin and keis can't connect, maybe you could try a jtag at a technician

[Help] N9005 stuck in download mode

Hi there guys,
I have a Note 3 N9005, and I am from Romania. My phone had the ORO Firmware (I think)but it was not SIM locked, or something like that, and it had Lollipop, the latest OTA version.
I've tried to install TWRP with Odin, on Windows (I have an MacBook, but I have installed Windows 7 x64 on VMware Fusion 8PRO).. but it gave me an error in.. and since then, when I restart the phone, it will say this : "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again"
I've tried several versions of Odin, like : 3.09 ; 3.07 and 1.85 but I have the same error.
I've also tried to install the latest firmware (N9005XXUGBOB6_N9005OXXGBOB4_ROM) , but I receive the same error, which can be seen in the printscreen.
This is what it says on the Download Mode :
ODIN MODE
Product name: SM-N9005
Current Binary: Samsung Official
System Status: Official
Reactivation Lock: OFF
Knox Warranty Void: 0x0
Qualcomm SecureBoot: Enable (CSB)
RP SWREV: S2, T2, R2, A3, P3
Secure Download: Enable
UDC Start
---------------------------------------------------------
What can I do?
Thanks in advance!
I would try from a real Windows OS .

Of course. Earlier you flashed the phone but it doesn't completed. Reflash stock firmware. Or flash custom rom with twrp.

i tried to flash it again and used that PIT file but still the same result any other suggestions? Or is my phone ready for the recycle bin? :crying:

Does it say G900F in download mode?

Thats what it says ...
Sounds like something in DATA is corrupted, which ODIN does not wipe
So flashing ROMs with ODIN won't fix it, you need to wipe the phone
Almost the same thing was happening with another member the other day, using ODIN option "Nand erase all" while flashing the ROM to wipe the phone, and then using KIES3 to recover the firmware was their fix
After Nand erase all, the phone would only enter download mode, KIES3 fixed that with the firmware recovery process
http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/usefulsoftware/KIES/
--
Or you could try flashing TWRP with ODIN, and see if you can get into TWRP recovery first, factory reset from there
I tried to put TWRP on my S5 with odin but that didn't work ...
Now i just flashed the phone with a new rom and with "Nand erase all" ticked and then do a firmware upgrade with "Kies" but unfortunately that didn't worked either :crying:
any other suggestions?
In ODIN, uncheck "Auto reboot"
Flash TWRP
When it completes disconnect USB and remove battery to power off
Replace battery and immediately boot into recovery
Volume Up & Home & Power
ANd you need to add more details other than "It didn't work" or we can't help
Ok i did what you suggested and at first it starts up with this on the screen :
Recovery booting .... (in blue letters)
Set warranty bit: recovery (in yellow letters)
then it just reboots without this text on it but it just keeps rebooting ... i dont get to see any thing else but the samsung galaxy s5 powered by android screen ...
And what does KIES firmware recovery say?
With the kies program i get thesame result ... it just stucks in the bootloop ...
No, what does KIES say when you run the firmware recovery?
I'm going to leave you to it, can't help you when you just keep repeating the same thing "Doesn't work"
Im not home at the moment,i will give it another go when im at home and tell you what it sayw
Ok, i opened Kies and searched for that emergency recovery firmware that you talked about but i don't see a option to select my phone??
Here is a printscreen from kies and my phone connected i download mode ...
http://i1360.photobucket.com/albums/r643/Tom_Mutsaerts/Naamloos2_zpskzwqrxly.jpg
Ok, you may close this topic, i brought the s5 to a repairshop and they are gonna check what the could do ... possible even necessary to replace the touchscreen and lcd according to the salesmen :s
