I use my LTE connection on the edge, it has VoLTE also. I am losing between 10 - 12 % overnight. It is ridiculous i only have the night clock on, AOD is off. I just cant figure out what is consuming so much battery. Any pointers to understand would be very welcome.
Im attaching screen shots also for more information

Try factory reset your device... and always remember when you buy a new device charge it to 100% before using it, it will keep the battery healthy and last long
no need to factory rset
just download package disabler and remove all bloatware. especially everything related to gear vr and samsung gear services. i used to have 20% battery drain over night now its just 2%. dont worry its permanent solution.

Not going to make this too formal. Just putting a teaser out there for the a500 users who want a taste of AOKP. Things will and are broken, namely camera and audio. This is how far I've gotten in 7 days and I had zero source to work with in the beginning. Hope you guys find it pretty good so far!
Full wipe and flash ROM.

Very, very interesting proposal. Thanks greatly for the tremendous effort. As for the broken items and bugs, how is that any different than any ASOP ROM?

Ok, install no problems. Looks like you have the same screen artifacts on boot as the current acer boot.image
1. Reboots after going to sleep. My guess kernel
2. I get 3g (501) signal and setings menus. This means it gets a signal, knows it's there, but can't lock on to an apn. Will work with this. Have to check your xml files.
Reboot when sleep is very annoying. Means I have to keep the screen active.
What kernel (device did you get this from?
Am surprised, none of the 501 users want to get involved. Ok, so be it.
Lots of folks are probably at work still...

Just remember what the OP said. No Wifi yet.
And, as I stated, if you let it go to sleep, it will reboot. So I would like, to check GPS, which means, you have to get GPS status.apk, and install it manually
But I like the signal bar comes up. But we 501 people, have to work on this. Everybody is fixed on the 500 leak.

Ok people, I am ex military, family tradition.
I would suggest those interested, we take an issue,
1. GPS
2. Wifi
3. 3g
Forget the kernel issues for now, as it's beyond me at the time.
I'll take 3g. More experience in it. If others want to do it also, well, communicate.
Wifi, should be moderate. Mostly apks and xml.s and hopefully not kernel related (I don't think it is)
GPS will be kernel related, but in this case, because I get signal bars, I think the kernel is ok. So, apk's and xml.
This is just a starting point. And of couse, if we take the same point, it doubles the output.
ROM Control > general UI > uncheck CRT animations to resolve the reboot upon sleep issue

According to the information in the forum, I expect my S3 (Titanium Gray) to become dead in 2-3 months. Titanium Gray models arrived later on the market. Most probably that's the reason why they are still alive.

It can't be involved since there are electronics in the phone and in the battery that control the incoming current etc. They have nothing in common with eMMCs.
I'm curious as to the average battery life of the Moto x. I figured it might be useful to see if everyone that is willing could post a screenshot of their battery life from 100% to 1% without any charging. Also post any info on your usage for that day or so. If enough people post then we could get a really good idea of what the real world battery life for the Moto x is, helping anyone who might have issues. I just charged o/n so I'll post mine later tonight.
You're kidding right? Isn't this what you mean?

If the mods want to close the thread, no skin off of my back. I was just trying to help organize the information. The other thread is 200 pages of mess. I've tried to sift through it but it's to cluttered with off topic stuff, people's opinion etc. I thought it would help to have a thread similar to post your homescreen...except post your battery life only under these specific conditions.
I think if people are gonna come down hard on opening new topics that are similar to other ones the Mods should regulate the threads better so as to stay on topic and not let it get to >200 pages where only 20% is actually useful.
The moderators will get to it. They are busy people with lives of their own.
This topic has a thread. Do we need another one that will eventually be just as cluttered, filled with opinion...etc etc...?
You've just created clutter...not helped cut it down.
Take care!

So you created a new thread instead of reporting the old one?
Also if you want to report your battery stats just do it in the ROM/kernel threads .
This type of thread is not what XDA is about.
We do not allow the comparisons of ROMs
feel lucky we have not closed the existing battery thread already. They all end up a mess

Hahaha it turns out I had it turned off when using full screen apps. Is there any way in resizing the chat heads?
And thank you for your help!
With that crappy-a$$ attitude is probably why a lot of people aren't wasting their time jumping in, plus it really does sound like an Facebook messenger issue than a Android issue, thus making this the wrong place in the first place. So here's my advice, might want to check the attitude at the door ? the next time, seeing that people are taking the time to even respond, which is probably more time than you deserves given the tude you're projecting. Just my opinion of course.

That's a shame. My battery lasts longer now, @ only 80% full charge, than it did pre-root, @ 100% charge. And for insurance, spending $20 on a rechargeable battery back-up/case, gives me 380% of battery usage/charge. Yes, I can recharge up to 3 X's before I need to plug it into the wall. Enjoy your stock but you are really missing out.
