So I installed paranoid android on my nexus 4. I believe it's still nightlys. Anyways for some reason my Facebook chat heads aren't working. I tried the whole clear data thing and re installing it but it still don't seem to work. Or any chat head or floatification. If anyone knows any solutions, please help! Thank you for your time,

that isn't a feature, that's an app. a feature would be something that's part of the rom.

Hahaha it turns out I had it turned off when using full screen apps. Is there any way in resizing the chat heads?
And thank you for your help!
With that crappy-a$$ attitude is probably why a lot of people aren't wasting their time jumping in, plus it really does sound like an Facebook messenger issue than a Android issue, thus making this the wrong place in the first place. So here's my advice, might want to check the attitude at the door ? the next time, seeing that people are taking the time to even respond, which is probably more time than you deserves given the tude you're projecting. Just my opinion of course.

its an app, if you want to use you install, if not you dont install. thats not a feature. the title of your thread is "Some simple features arent working". says nothing at all about facebook. you could have written.. "chat heads not working in facebook messenger". and yes i am helping, this way for your next thread you might title it accurately

Ok, install no problems. Looks like you have the same screen artifacts on boot as the current acer boot.image
1. Reboots after going to sleep. My guess kernel
2. I get 3g (501) signal and setings menus. This means it gets a signal, knows it's there, but can't lock on to an apn. Will work with this. Have to check your xml files.
Reboot when sleep is very annoying. Means I have to keep the screen active.
What kernel (device did you get this from?
Am surprised, none of the 501 users want to get involved. Ok, so be it.
Lots of folks are probably at work still...

Just remember what the OP said. No Wifi yet.
And, as I stated, if you let it go to sleep, it will reboot. So I would like, to check GPS, which means, you have to get GPS status.apk, and install it manually
But I like the signal bar comes up. But we 501 people, have to work on this. Everybody is fixed on the 500 leak.

Ok people, I am ex military, family tradition.
I would suggest those interested, we take an issue,
1. GPS
2. Wifi
3. 3g
Forget the kernel issues for now, as it's beyond me at the time.
I'll take 3g. More experience in it. If others want to do it also, well, communicate.
Wifi, should be moderate. Mostly apks and xml.s and hopefully not kernel related (I don't think it is)
GPS will be kernel related, but in this case, because I get signal bars, I think the kernel is ok. So, apk's and xml.
This is just a starting point. And of couse, if we take the same point, it doubles the output.
ROM Control > general UI > uncheck CRT animations to resolve the reboot upon sleep issue

According to the information in the forum, I expect my S3 (Titanium Gray) to become dead in 2-3 months. Titanium Gray models arrived later on the market. Most probably that's the reason why they are still alive.

It can't be involved since there are electronics in the phone and in the battery that control the incoming current etc. They have nothing in common with eMMCs.
Heres my problem:
I could not use google play or gmail(I could however use chrome youtube baconreader(reddit) ) So I tried many of the troubleshooting ways to fix it. It all started when I updated to 4.4 then I re-rooted and it was all going smooth. I had freedom and market unlocker going so I could still use the market with freedom. One day I turned on my device and my root was gone and my root apps did not work and google play did not work. So I tried like I said above to troubleshoot it. I ended up to a factory reset thinking it would fix it. Now I am at the setup screen where it goes like this Language>Wifi Network>Login in or create google acount( I log in) and then bam I get the error like I have been having for the past month with google play and this time I cannot even use my device so I call google and they tell me I'm f****d because my warranty is gone. After that they connect me to someone at samsung who I can barely hear who keeps calling me man and telling me they can't hear me so in frustration I hung up and hear I am now.
Solution Idea: If I could find away to restore it without usb debugging using the wugfresh tool it might work I guess. Another thing worth noting is that when I go into bootloader mode and then recovery I get the android guy with: no command. written under him.
Please help I have searched and troubleshooted but I can't find a fix and I have no funds to buy a new device and I need it for school since I have no laptop and this is the next best thing.

If you ever run into issues if you decide to flash custom ROMs or something this is always a last resort to get it working. calm down bro, u dont have to be like this, this has nothing to do with piracy, i have every right to know why an app that search up and modify data in processes is not working.

People are just trying to say there may not be of any help here for hacker game or piracy cheats.
That could be why iOS jailbreak doesn't exist in XDA. I could be wrong.

perhaps, i understand piracy, and this has nothing to do with it, but hacker game i dont understand. its just modifying process data. feel like thats also what rooting implying what i am allowed to do now. but hes just holding grudges for what i asked before, kinda childish.

Well I'm guessing the process you're doing is against XDA rules and violations. I think maybe it's best to just download from the Play Store like the latter said.

the app is called game hacker, but what it really does is read up data from any app running, and allows me to modify it, most ppl use it for games since u modify game stats, but is that against XDA rules, modifying data from apps, since I fell like that is what rooting grants.
