Hello everyone,
Is it possible to have the iOS smileys on my phone without root?
Or if that isn't possible can I install the needed files and/or programs to have the smileys, and then remove the root but keep the smileys?
Thanks
You could root install the emoji and unroot as long as you kept dm-verity disabled. But why do you want to unroot after the installation.

Just install Textra messaging app. And then it's IOS emoj add on from play store. Then chose IOS emoj style in Textra settings.

Hi Guys,
I want to remove some app provided with VRZ notes 3 by default.
i'm talking about amazon, backup and other.
any possible way to do it ?
Thanks in advance.
PS: i did root it already but still impossible to remove.
I typically disable or freeze them, but I believe (not fully positive as I haven't tried it on the note 3) that you can use ROM Toolbox Pro or Titanium Backup to uninstall the system apps.
@Diocat, thanks will give it a try and get back for the results.
Beside I've learn that the bootloader has not been released yet by VRZ, so i guess we won't be able to get a custom rom installed until then!?

I'm on stock s5 rom and I have been looking to completely remove the stock hotspot/tethering app. On my HTC, all I have to do is use titanium backup to remove the tethering app and it's gone. I haven't been able to duplicate this method with the s5. Any one have any idea of how to do this? Thanks
Only with root
Hello and thank you for using Q/A,
you can remove a system app, if you have root access. Only with root.
Kind regards

If there anyway to get this feature on Android 7 Touchwiz? I don't want to use a 3rd party launcher and I've tried installing S8 touchwiz Launcher with no luck. I'm not rooted and don't want to be on this device. Is there anyway to get swipe up for app drawer?
Many thanks peeps.
try this version here I had to use this one in order for it install https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsung-electronics-co-ltd/touchwiz-home/touchwiz-home-6-0-77-release/
If that one doesn't install then you're going to have to root and manually install it.

Thanks I will give it a go, i can't root because my banking app will not work on a rooted phone. {Barclays UK).

Finally got S8 launcher working with bixby swipe screen also so very happy. Thanks for your help .
Whats up guys, is there any current Roms that have the ability to hide root temporarily like in Cyanogen?
Thanks so much!
Hi all! First, thanks to all for the hard work in outlining how to root the HD 10! :good: I followed the directions and successfully rooted my HD 10 with the offline method. Before rooting I wasn't aware that I would lose access to some apps that check for root like the Spectrum TV app and even the Weather Channel app. I kind of understand why Spectrum would not like rooted devices, but The Weather Channel app? In any case, I'd like to know if there is a way to cloak or hide root so that some of these apps will start working again. I haven't tried setting up Xposed or anything, but is that a way to do it? Does Xposed have a module that's safe to use on the HD 10 for hiding root?
Thanks in advance for any help!!
Is anyone out there who can help answer this question?

You'd need to use a systemless root manager like Magisk or SUHide-lite which are not compatible with the HD 10 root solution.
