Wizard Screen Flicker Problem

Hi Buddies
I had bought 2nd hand wizard couple of weeks ago. Everything is working fine till yesterday.
From yesterday noon, the screen of my phone is continuously flickering without any reason.
When i switched it on , The flicker started like someone is wiving the screen from inside (up and down) and this up/down of view continue increasing gradually with the time.
Screen also shows splashes of lights just like some tube light trying to lit on.
I am using TNT Win Mob 6.1 as OS and remaining details of device are in my signature.
Anybody have any idea to cure it .... ??

I have downgraded to TMobile Official WM 5 ROM ...
But the problem still persist.
Although it disappears for some time, may be less than an hour, but after that, same occurs again...
Its kind of Technical / physical problem in my opinion as ... same flickring exists at the time of booting and startup screen of windows behaves same like normal working screens.
What i want from you people is, suggestion about .. what should be the cause of this .. either LCD screen going to die or .... some cable connection is the cause ...

Problem Update
HTC Service Manual For Wizard Says :
3－A．Unusual Vertical / Horizontal lines or partial display
(1) Check the connection of LCM FPC whether is properly connected.
(2) Try with another LCM.
(3) Try with another Main Board.
(4) Replace LCM if necessary
(5) Replace Main Board if necessary.
(6) Once the defective part has been identified, verify it again with the defective part whether the symptom could be duplicated.

Probably it's the faulty flex cable (the one that connects motherboard with the screen). Disassemble the device ant check if the connector on your motherboard is not loose.
I have the same problem, and can only use my wizard when the keyboard is slid out

Samsung Galaxy S2 Can't activate Wifi or Bluetooth

Problem:
I was angry and threw my SGS2 against the wall and after the display was broken. I bought a new display with a frame from a famous internet auction site with some extras on it. -> an original one

So I disassambled everything that was missing on the frame and reassambled it on the new one. That made my day. I was very happy cuz it worked all well til I noticed that couldn't activate neither the wifi nor the bluetooth anymore. But it worked before broke the display. So looked closely to the boards in the phone but it looks fine. You can't see a damage on them. Oltough I stipped the waranty sticker carefully and placed it on the new frame you can see that there is dust underneath it. Now I think I have no waranty any more.
I did a Wifi test per *#*#526#*#* -> NotSet Driver loaded ng
Did not help out either.
Every time when I try to activate Wifi or Bluetooth the button doesn't even light up. It becomes dark green. Not the activated lightend up green just the dark still-try-to-activate green.
Who can help me? Google doesn't respond how I want it and I didn't find a similar threads.
Now I am really sad disappointed und can't believe it.
That must it be like what people feel after they get raped in prison.
I tried many firmwares old and new ones. -> didn't work
I tried many radio/modem files via cwm -> didn't work
I wiped all caches -> didn't work
PS: calling writing massages and 3g (mobile internet) still works

Same here, I've been trying the methods posted by erdinator above, but could not get my Wifi working too.
ICS I9100XXLPQ Kernel.
The status is still the same; dark green, and trying its best to activate. It worked yesterday in the morning, but refuses to work from evening onwards.

I had a similar problem but a reboot fixed it but I'm on UK unlocked LP7

Well I just updated my SGS2 to ICS yesterday. Today when I wanted to connect to WiFi it got stuck on "activiating WiFi". Then the screen went black and the phone stopped responding. Had to pull the battery. Everything was fine after booting up, though it consumed like 5 % of my battery just like that. Even the battery meter shows a huge jump and a little gap even. Odd

Yea, I just got this too. When the screen locks, it just stops responding. The entire phone was almost like bricked. And when I force restart (hold down the Power button for 15 seconds) the phone, it rebooted nicely. But the battery drain is terrible.

I checked the board with a magnifying glass many times today there is no single tiny crack/break/burst.
I hope u r not right

Poor you! seem your wifi chip died. . My Galaxy S2 have the same "NotSet Driver loaded [ng]" and Samsung Vietnam change my mainboard and it work.
PS: Good job samsung vietnam, they replace my mainboard and return it back in only 45 min.

Hence, in the end, it's because of the motherboard? Hmm... Interesting. Have anyone tried?

Check if the white wire is well connected to the motherboard, it's the antena cable

i checked the cable many times and also tried a cable of a friend of mine no use
i had sent it to samsung for warranty service and they sent it back repaired it was the motherboard

Was the repair expensive, mate?

I have to confirm, but i think that the wifi/bt is a replaceble part. Let me check and reply back

... hi we are have same problems i have s2 no wifi and bluetooth jingerbread i decide to root in jelly bean 4.2.1 to see if wifi and bluetooth is fix but didn't work ...

Black screen

Good morning , yesterday I was doing a bit of cleaning dust and removed the cover, I noticed over the battery to the left a small window ( as a fast access ) I opened it and there was a connector . Curiosity has , as usual, got the better and to see what it was ... I unplugged the connector. It was obviously the LCD. Ok I promptly hung it up but the screen remains black ( everything works , the phone turns on, there is the jingle , unlock the touch screen , etc. ) .
Obviously all this with battery inserted and phone on (The Genius ) .
My question is : Is it possible that I have burned the ' LCD ? Should be enough to buy another LCD and touch ( since I'm stuck and it seems difficult to replace old touch panel) ?

Mi2S - Problem with new screen

Hey guys,
yesterday i changed the screen and digitizer of my Mi2S. Now, when i switch the phone - with new screen - on, the screen is just lightning blue (you can see it on the attached picture). Now i saw that on the Flex Cable of the original screen, there's written B04 and on the new screen there's a B01 instead. So, i think i have now a different version of the screen and not having the drivers for that. So, does anybody (maybe developers) know how to flash others drivers and where to get them from?
Thx already ahead for any help.

Are you sure you connected both flex cables correctly?
From your picture I would think only the backlight is on and the screen itself is not active...
Would be my first guess...
(I have a Xiaomi Mi2s and did the swap myself, I didn't have any problems... + even if there are different screens, the SW should cater for it, otherwise we would have a different SW build for every screentype used...)

Hi, i send it to a professional repair center and they said that there was a small water damage (from wherever!?). As i now found a pretty ok priced Mi2S (where the camera flex cable is damaged) on Ebay, i'll just insert the camera of my old one into the "new" Mi2S and sell the Display i bought for my old one. Problem solved!

Broken phone: Jiayu s3 broken screen, touch working no display

Hello xda developers users, today i found out that my dad broke his phone. At first i knew that local shops would'nt be able to help since its not something that has been bought by one. The bigger problem is that, the usb debugging wasnt enabled so i cannot pull out all the pictures. I looked up everywhere for a solution and there was no program that supports this type of phone. I have also tried plugging it into the pc but it showed that:" please insert driver g". tried everything i could so if someone could please find me something to take out the important pictures of the phone i would really appriciate it. ( he doesnt have any type of backup since he barely knows how to use a phone)

unfortunately when there is no display you can't do much... you can't enter recovery or put your phone in MTP mode to copy files from internal memory. that's why PC can't install driver. By default with USB is only for charging.
I got Redmi 5 Plus using Tapatalk

If display is working but no touch, you can connect a USB mouse with a OTG cable.
No picture at all, try to get another S3 and swap the mainboard or buy a new display, there is new stock at some sellers at AliExpress for reasonable price.

There are YouTube videos about changing the display. You can buy a whole new display (with tools) from Aliexpress. I bought such a set for about USD 55 and replaced a broken display. It succeeded otherwise well, but the front camera does not work any more - maybe the tiny connector is open... The operation takes some time and patience, watch the video before byuing a new display!
