What will there be in the advanced version of the UMi Super, you wonder? For one, it will be our first phone with dual rear cameras. Yes, you read it right; the UMi Super advanced edition (model name to be announced later) will feature dual rear cameras, including a 13 MP sensor from none other than Sony.
That is not all. UMi will go all guns blazing on this one, and will ship the UMi Super advanced edition with a 10-core processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage by default.
UMi have put our heart into the engineering of our phones, and it is time for high-end buyers to consider UMi phones. UMi wish to be seen in the same league as other phones such as the Huawei P9, Honor V8, Honor 6 Plus… but better!

10-Core CPUs are only made by Mediatek, so it might feature the latest Helio X20, or even better X25, that as seen on the Meizu Pro 6, is just a beast. The most powerful Mediatek CPU ever made.
Also it will feature a Super Metal Chassis, ultra-thin and seems pretty solid too.

Let's hope it doesn't have all the hardware issues that people had with the UMi Super... GPS useless when navigating, screen issues, network switching issues, WiFi strength, fingerprint recognition, battery drain.

Not experiencing any of those things with my Super. Ok, GPS isn't great but not terrible. Battery life is amazing, 2-3 days with moderate use. No wifi issues, much stronger than the Ulefone Be Touch 2 I had before. Fingerprint rarely fails and when it does it works on the second attempt.

I think I just found my new phone, upgrading from SGS2. The specs blow away any phone right now.
* Qualcomm 8064 CPU (Quadcore)
* 2GB RAM
* 16GB ROM
* Graphics processing comparable to the XBOX 360 (Adreno 320 graphics chip)
* 2000 mAh 3000 mAh battery upgrades
* 4.3 inches high PPI retina screen, 1280x720 resolution. The touch screen to do (the OGS / TOL), the single glass fit technology, Ultra Narrow design to protect the glass.

Not sure if it has expandable storage. But by currency conversion it works out: $315/£200!!
Should be released in October. Hope it works in UK
Nice phone! If only we could get it for under $400 shipped in USA. Hopefully works for T-Mobile....

I wonder if this will have solid rom AOSP/ROM support... you might imagine so considering it's running MIUI out of the box.
Also, battery life.
Will it have an english MIUI available though?
Great specs, especially love the option for 3000mAh albeit with an extra 2mm thickness. But no mention of an SD card slot?? 16GB inside is fine but not enough for me on the whole.
I want one so bad! Hopefully we can manage to get them here in the US for under $400... It's beautiful.

Yes it will.
Just wondering if it will work in the UK
Based on what I've read, don't expect to get your hands on it until the specs are no longer a wow factor.
Apparently this company has some very interesting marketing strategies, the price is apparently more so an initial head turner and far from permanent. Supply is also iffy.
Sent from my SGH-I727 using Tapatalk 2
Only missing feature is NFC, but hard to complain about at that price with those specs. Even if it comes in at $450 or so in the end that's around the Xperia P range so not out of sorts. We'll see if they release the goodies for the devs to tinker with.
Has this gone on sale in China? Maybe one of the Chinese users could clear our queries with regards to this phone. I'm chiefly concerned about the following things:
1. English support (should mostly have)
2. AOSP support (almost certainly might have)
3. Build quality and spares!!
Damn it I live in India and we are China's neighbours. Start selling you phones here guys!

Disagree, for that price it will be a wow factor at that time of release and a few months after release
you can get it here & also post & ask some questions, looks like a reliable dealer

amazing what they can produce here :cyclops:
don't expect aosp support as they will probably never release the kernel source. the first one was okay... many of my friends have them but.although they get updates every week they still seem to be only about 75 stable.. the new one has me interested from a cheap hardware angle but I like beingable to choose my own Rom
@joshofbass
what do you mean by "they still seem to be only about 75 stable"?
reboots? freeze? I need a dual sim so that i don't have to lug around 3 phones
NFC??
Does anyone know if the MI-2 supports NFC technology?
I have seen many websites which write the specs and other useful information, but none is mentioning whether or not it has a nfc chip.
NFC is not listed in the specs on the official homepage. Neither is microsd support, btw ...
the best phone!

Doesnt work. This is for g550 phone. Look javierin the comments. This is me. So please, put real info. Iknow how to search in google too.
No, they are reseller and in this foro the root they mention isnt a root for doogeex5. It does not work.
I managed to get myself a decent deal on a Doogee X5 here for $59,99, and this is my review of the phone itself:
http://www.dd4.com/goods/Original-D...HD-IPS-5.0MP-sim-dual-Wcdma-Unlock_60658.html
The X5 is Doogee’s entry to the budget phone market and the reason why it caught my eye was that it boasts a 5” 720P screen a quad core MediaTek CPU as well as Android 5.1 for less than 60 USD, which is almost unbelievable at this price point.
The box the phone came in was rather plain with some details regarding the specifications, IMEI and such, but other than that there’s not much worth mentioning. Inside the box is the phone itself, a short manual as well as a charger for the phone. So when it comes to the phone itself it’s completely made out of plastic, but it feels very solid due to a built-in metal construction. On the side of the phone there’s a power button and volume rockers, and on the front there’s a 720P IPS panel with decent viewing angles.
When it comes to the CPU, it boasts a Mediatek MTK6580 CPU that provide decent performance for daily usage (such as YouTube, browsing the web etc.) and it compares to the Snapdragon 400 system-on-a-chip. The main performance drawback is the built-in GPU, Mali 400, which leaves much to ask when it comes to performance in games and other 3D applications.
So when it comes to the software experience I’m pleased, as it’s a very pure version of Android with just a few additional applications. The UI is very fluid and smooth, and I’ve not noticed any major issues when navigating the phone, other than a few stutters when running many applications at once, which I suspect is related to the limited amount of ram.
This phone comes with a 2100mAh hour battery from the company BAK Battery (2300mAh according to doogee, which is false) and that combined with the MTK CPU provides decent battery life. With 50% of brightness, it lasts about a day or two with a simcard in the phone and about 2-3 days with no simcard. However, if you increase the brightness to 100% you’re likely to see big battery drops and therefore I recommend keeping it around 50-60% at most – the lower the better.
The phone isn’t free from drawbacks and the one that’s most noticeable is the camera, which is not very decent and provides kind of mediocre results. The videos and pictures taken with it looks all grainy and noisy and therefore this isn’t a phone for the camera enthusiast to say the least, but it’s okay for simple Facebook pictures and what not. Another drawback is the internal speaker which is loud but have a tinny sound, but at this price point this is very common.
So overall, I’ve had this phone for a few weeks now and I’ve had no major complaints, and with this sort of value for 60 USD I can’t do anything than to recommend this phone. It’s one of the better budget phones I’ve tried and its worth having a look at it if you’re on the lookout for good budget phone!

I got Doogee this weekend and I found it a great deal for its price.
So far I've had a huge problem with it; After 5 mins it loses its data connection and mobile connection. I have tried configuring APN, and many other configurations and I haven't been lucky at all. The phone should work with my carrier cause it runs a 850/1900 mhz band. Any hint about it?

Indian LeEco Le Max 2 Thread + Stock Indian ROM 5.8.015S

I got my Phone delivered by Flipkart and here are few of my quick observations:
Antutu 6 Score: 142712 (Highest among S 820 phones)
Negatives:
The USB-C to standard headphone adapter is included but still that is downright idiotic to push their crappy Apple rip off ear pods. The plastic causes ear pain after prolonged use and we do not achieve a good seal for best sound quality. So all these claims of hi-fidelity audio are meaningless.
The Touch-ID or fingerprint sensor has got to be the worst ever sensor in the market by a long shot. We cannot be sure if response time and accuracy can be improved over time by software updates. It is unfinished. During initial setup, it simply refused to enroll my second finger. Had to do that manually later on and also the enrollment process takes ages to register your finger.
Positives:
The phone is definitely good looking but on a heavier side. Got a black protective case to hide the Rose Gold. I am not a fan of that color. Built quality definitely matches Samsung/Apple if not better. I have not yet removed the original matt screen guard. I am waiting for Flipkart to deliver me a tempered glass guard before. I heard that naked screen scratches easily.
The screen quality and speaker volume is adequate.
Supports all Indian LTE bands (B3, B5, B7, B40)
I actually liked their UI skin. Finally a hardware which is not bogged down by software. RAM available is 2.3 GB / 4 GB (OS takes 1.7 GB haha)
There is a Transparent Gel case included in the box.
Camera is strictly above average but not chart topping.
No heating issues at the moment. Phone does get slightly warm while Antutu benchmarking)
Biggest: Indian stock ROM has no bloat apart from few LeTV apps.
Unsure:
Whether LeTV will release kernel sources for custom CM13/14 based ROMS in future. They must do it to beat One Plus 3 at their game.
Fingerprint sensor performance will improve or not.
Whether we will get Android Nougat in future

Can someone tell me whats languages are supported in Indian Firmware?
Thanks for that, Yes I love my phone, I have the 5.8.015S on my Max 2, from your description I can now conclude I have the same one !
From my point of view its International. IE I see no "Indian" specific branding apps etc.
From the marketing moves of LeEco entering the US market place and other existing 820 ports of Android 7 I would
suggest they will be working on it .

Hi, can you tell me if there is italian language please?
hai any body here can reccomend a good custom rom for our indian model of le max 2 ?

Few questions about OP5.

1. Camera has 1080p/60fps? (with EIS possible?)
2. Is this device somehow waterproff? I can't believe that high-end smartphone don't have any protection.
3. How to root this thing? It will be my first OxygenOS phone
4. It have SDcard slot? (128GB version)?
5. How can I get something like silicone case? I'm living in the EU/Poland
I should receive it this friday

Oh, my bad! I didn't saw that expanded specification.
So only 3 and 5 questions left! About root and silicon case.
Thank you @SysAdmNj
Also! Will OP5 charge on this charging pad that left after my S7?

3. Root should be available shortly, just stay tuned to these forums. Same way we've rooted previous oneplus devices.
5. Right now, you either have to wait for oneplus to get them back in stock or keep searching amazon until silicone cases start showing up.
I'm also looking for a case like that but they arent out yet.
No wireless charging.
I read on some reviews that OP's CEO said that it can resist water splash or even some immersion, they just didn't spend money to certificate that
I wouldnt buy this phone, so overrated and now they cheat in benchmarks,,,
Good points
Sd835
Dual camera
Slim design
LPDDR4X RAM
UFS 2.1
Decent price ($300 less than iPhone )
Bad points
Smaller battery than OP3T
Low resolution display compared to flagships
Huge bezels
No waterproofing
No stereo speakers.
No OIS
No 3D touch
No wireless charging ( also absent in iPhone 7)
No expandable storage (64 GB would be too less in 1-2 years)
They should have priced it at $400 then it would be super hit all over the world.

You can't really compare to an iPhone... You're better off comparing to another Android phone.
64gb is way plenty for most people (they have a 128gb option) I have had a oneplus one for 3 years with 64gb and have barely breached half that (with many apps/music backups, etc)
Smaller battery (barely) but better battery consumption.
The only real letdown is the screen resolution imo
