Try Volumex trial. It provides numerous volume control refinements.

At Volumex settings set: volume steps = 16.

Just a little music player quick tip!

Hiya guys,
Not too sure if this has been posted or not, did a quick search and nothing came up so here it goes. If its allready common knowledge please delete!
Bassicly at the lock screen press down the volume up or down button and a quick access music player will come up showing the song thats currently playing and a button to go back or foward a song... kinda like on the iphone I guess. I'm assuming you have to had used the music player atleast once to use this.
Again sorry if its been posted!
Munky,
i didn't know it. thank you

Communication software lowering audio of metro apps

Hello XDA, I'm having a bit of a problem with my audio.
I spend a lot of my day in a Google Hangout with long time friends of mine too far away to see in person. Windows 8 lets me do this perfectly fine besides when I want to listen to music simultaneously. I know in Windows 7 it did this as well, where when Hangouts was open it would lower volume to my music apps. I could fix this by just going into the control panel and disable the volume reduction of 80% and be done with it. But this doesn't work with Metro apps. If I'm playing audio through Slacker, as soon as the app goes into the background is reduces the audio by 80%.
Anyone know how I could fix this? I assume it's just a bug where the control panel on the desktop interface doesn't interfere with metro volume control, but the apps do.
Anything is appreciated.

i already question that to the support of Microsoft.. not answered yet.. but i think in maybe an update will come the volumen control to the metro apps.
I hope they can fix this. It's also annoying that the "Metro" apps don't have the individual volume controls that were introduced in the "Mixer" feature in Vista.

Improve Audio?

The one thing that I really dislike on the LG G6 (LG-LS993) is the audio. It has a "tinny" sound. Is anyone aware of any way to improve that? I'm thinking of software solutions. I know I can use my ear buds or my Blue-Tooth speaker system but there are times when that isn't practical; such as showing a video to someone else. Thanks.
Have you tried : jetAudio HD Music Player or VLC Player???
If all of your music is downloaded into your phone into the file system there is an app called Poweramp in the Play Store..... It is amazing it's three bucks but you can have a three-week trial I have found it has Soothed me from not being able to have viper audio being that we are stuck without root. The only downfall is this EQ and music player system is for everything in your library or file system but the tweaks are great and it's full of features..... I just returned my G6 for a v30 plus it works on both.
We may be in the same boat I want something that works with YouTube and Google play music

I lied I just got it working with Google Play Music there's a ton of settings in it and it's sounding amazing you should try it out it's a free trial I attached a picture of what it looks like that way you don't have to pay if you don't like it but my car has garbage speakers and it really helps my Bluetooth Loud areas
There are game settings in the menu you can hike up and then the 7-band EQ the first bar all the way to the left is actually pre app control not EQ lol!
If you try it out and have any questions hit me up but I think this app works great I'm going to try and get it going with you tube. And if you like Last FM there is special settings for that app by itself
If you're a fan of Google Play music only I found this version of Dolby Digital just download and install it but do not open the app reboot your phone and install Google Play Music if Google play music is already installed then after you go through the reboot open Google Play Music go to the menu settings hit refresh then scroll down for equalizer and the Dolby app will open right up.....quite a few settings in it

Thank you for your suggestions. I tried VLC Player and it sounded pretty good but it kept losing my music. The music was still there but I had to keep pointing to the location. Anyway, I'm trying out Rocket Player right now.

Thank you for all your wonderful suggestions. Prior to seeing your post I tried VLC Player and it sounded pretty good but it kept losing my music. The music was still there but I had to keep pointing to the location. I'm trying out Rocket Player right now and it seems to work well. I'll probably check out Poweramp soon.
