I think e5 is relatively new that's why there aren't any good 5.0 rom available.I also have e5 and waiting for developers to code for this rom.
Give some time, there will be roms available. :good:

its pretty difficult to predict the date of availability.....since its still new.....i have no idea of compiling roms.....they upload i flash........ so sry bro can't say....... be active in the forum start asking resourceful guys and in case you find anything do give me a knock...

Also the tester should be on Lollipop 5.1.1 Stock
Strictly no ETA's since m busy these days and only do on free times

Thats still MIUI though. I would like to see AICP, Blisspop, BrokenOS, CM, Cyanide L, Dirty Unicorns, Euphoria, Paranoid Android, Vanilla AOSP (Ivan's is very stable for Cancro) etc etc

I think that SOKP ROM from sonic developers is available for some MIUI phones.

Yes it does. That chip I'd almost as bad as mediatech of the exynos. All of them have closed sourced info and bad documentation.
The biggest issue is that most devs won't touch devices by this OEM so you will get ports at best

I just had a look at the device and it seems like alot of them are basiclly ports of one rom or another. After looking at them they all seem to have one issue or another due to things that cant be fixed without source and documentation

Redmi Note 2 Standard version is MT6795M, Redmi Note 2 Prime version is MT6795T, but of the documents are related to MT6795 like Miravision, ClearMotion etc.

I know that the older MTK kernel sources like for the MTK6592 have been released. But thats just SoC only... You need to have sources for the other used drivers like touch and sensors, camera and so on as well to have a whole open source phone.

MIUI 8 will be available for my old Redmi 1S runing KitKat. But seriously, there will be a version running Marshmallow. I just don’t know when.

Downloaded and installed it, fp works well, no bugs found yet. And it's MIUI 8 based on Android 5.1.1...
for gapps use google installer which can be found on MIUI forum, don't flash gapps because you'll face error.

Hmm... Do we really know that for sure? I don’t think there was an official announcement. I do expect we might not get 6.0 immediately, but the fact they made a 6.0 for tomorrow says something (Although apparently no one is allowed to post links. )

I had to unlick the bootloader install twrp on and flash SuperSU but the screen does not work so u need a otg mouse

Does anyone started to compile Cyanogenmod for the Elephone S7? Looking forward to a custom ROM.

That's a nice way to brick your device. Never and I mean never flash a rom for a different device. You are lucky if you have not messed up your partitions or other hardware.

Yes i know. But we need to advance on a custom ROM
I will try to find time to use a better partitionning script on a firmware and see if anything boots.

Yes Please! There is a new version on gearbest based on helio x25 for only 10 $ more (between both 4/64 versions). Which on has the more chance to receive a cm version?

The old one cause I'm already in porting cm. I don't promise anything thought
And helio x25 is just helio x20 overclocked so I can make some changes to kernel to change the old model to helio x25.

5.9.028s got serious bug
Hey guys,
i installed the new stock rom 5.9.028s. i got it automatically by my phone.
after it installed and the os came up Google play services started to crash.
no matter what i did, it crashed.
i even reinstalled it, no use.
now i can't use some of my apps.
i sent an email to leeco support.
someone else got the same problem??
P.S. i got Le max2
