Hey mate..its good u found a new rom for our ace but whenever you post in dev section with a new rom...please post screenshots and tell us about its features...if not all...but atleat some of them...so that people can get a rough idea about how the rom is...OP should take atleast this much responsibility

[Question]Meizu Metal root?

Let me know if you can make the root of meizu metal using external programs ..
it seems strange that it is a cell on which we can not do the root.

It's very strange that you can't root Meizu Metal derectly via Flyme settings... Anyway, you'll be able to root it via KingRoot

Yes, A friend has the phone and he says that with Kingroot root not work.
With iRoot I think that its the same problem

If you go to the Flyme website:

And on the top click on YunOS then switch the tab to 体验版: You will get the ZIP files for firmwares that don't end with "Y" for YunOS.
So I assume those are the betas based on Android and Flyme 5.5 instead of YunOS and Flyme 5.1, and then you might be able to root the device.
I'm not exactly sure it this is based on Android instead of YunOS, you have to try it. Since I don't understand Chinese and don't own the device.

YunOS is based on Android, and here you are providing a tutorial to download the latest YunOS Beta But it's Android so no problem

But others reported, that yunos can't be rooted.
I thought since there is no Y letter on the end of the beta roms, that those aren't based on YunOS and hence are rootable.

Here, on the screenshot, yes it's YunOS version, I don't know if the latest beta is rootable but it's just temporarily disabled due to security issue, if it's not rootable it'll be enabled soon

This is a CM13 ROM for the LeEco X620 It is ALPHA!
The front camera does not work. The rear camera is only 5MP.
The lock screen is only swipe, this also means you cannot access the fingerprint scanner.

About Android O(8.0.0)

As we know Android O was released few weeks ago, and many drives were received unofficial build though with some bugs, I want to know if there has possibility to build it on m2 mini too? I know it's much difficulty to build up, and 7.1.2 is still easy using, but if here has somebody is in possession, pls let us know! Thanks!

All popular devices received Android O builds based on LineageOS 15 sources. I never compiled a rom but I'd be happy to try. Although my internet connection is so slow (2mbps) and I have to wait for this guy https://sourceforge.net/projects/skadoosh/files/LineageOS/ to upload compressed archives.

sorry i was kinda busy and yes i moved to new device Mi A1 now but as far as i say this guide is not gonna work bcz this need binder patch for adapting new android 8.0+ source which is knida not possible tho we have booted 8.0 but we don't have a single working thing there so it's useless but i can say a guy is working so he can fix 7.1.2 (cm 14.1) los 14.1 bas bugs so you can enjoy bugless experience in future
bugs fixed till now
1)quick 15% to 0% charge drop down
2)Saftey net test (it pass now)
Those are kernel patches
he even fixed some nominal bugs eg
1)video encoding and decoding recording video from camera app or playing that in gallery app
2)camera full functional
3)No glitches
