Screen is dead after battery change. Help? - Galaxy Tab 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi.
Just replaced my old battery with new one and after that... suprise - screen won't turn on.
Tablet works ok, I can hear sounds, vibration, I can even hear taps (so touch sensitive layer is working fine) but screen is dead.
Inside there are only 3 connectors, one battery, one in the upper part and one in the lower, both firmly placed and in full contact.
Is there something else I am missing?
Screen was working fine when I opened tablet, so there's absolutely no way to damage anything during opening. Worked without back cover.
Then I turned it off, replaced battery and turned on, and now screen is dead...
Any suggestions, help? Any connectors that could disconnect?
Or any possibility that screen was damaged when unplugging old battery?
Plz, guys, you're so smart
And how the lcd connects with motherboard?

Backlight Replacement

My buds Droid 2 back light doesn't work anymore as well as the touch screen digitizer. Is the back light in the LCD itself or is that a seperate part? I told him I would fix it and I need to know what to order.
I'm having a similar issue, My wife got the phone wet, so we dried it out. That part went well....
Well she got a new phone, and I put the Droid 2 in a draw, and recently found it again, deciding to look it over, I charged it up, turn it on.
Here is what problems it has, No Backlight on the LCD display, No LED Nofication lights, No keyboard lights, No Digitizer touch.
The phone boots and works, sounds work, OS is intact and under a flashlight I can see the screen.
my question is does the ribbon cable control all of these? or are the seperate problems?

[Q] Backlight only when turning HD2 on, no picture

So this was my first breakdown of a phone...my brother gave me an HD2 with a non-responsive digitizer, everything else seemed to work just fine.
I disassembled it, accidently tearing the flex cable after it gets thin and goes to the volume buttons. Anyway...I replaced the digitizer...thinking I could just modify the volume via software controls, and stupid me had previously set the hd2 to boot into magicdlr always when the phone turned on. So when I turned on the phone I couldn't do anything because it would boot into magicdlr and I had no volume buttons to scroll up and down, and the option selected was boot into windows which was not on the phone (only cm7 was at this time).
Anyway...after getting a replacement flex cable, and reassembling everything, I couldn't get the lcd to work. Backlight would light up, but no picture, no sound, just a vibrate and the backlight turning on. I tore it down, triple checked all the connections, and still the same thing
So I tried a seperate lcd assembly, tripled checked all connections, and still same issue as the above paragraph, backlight but nothing else when I try to power on. I also retried the old flex cable (the one without the volume connector) and that didn't make a difference either.
My only guess is that I messed up the lcd connector on the mainboard, even though it doesn't look visibly damaged in anyway. Does anybody have any other ideas/suggestions?? I would love to get this up and running as its been my first smartphone project...I've done lots of works on desktops and laptops but never smartphones.

Loudspeaker not working after replacement of Charging Dock

Guys, I bought and replaced the charging dock from my N9005, because mine got damaged in a tragic accident involving me, the charging cable and the phone itself... Now, after the replacement itself, I have noticed that my loudspeaker does not work at all (missed my alarm this morning, thought I overslept, but I had later on the phone in my hand and it rang... but without sound.
After a bit more tinkering, I have noticed that if I just put the back panel (the one that contains the speaker) on top of the phone and press gently, it works, but if I put in the screws and push it properly, it stops working.. So my option right now is to either leave it flimsy (too flimsy for the back cover to be put on top and still function), or to not have a speaker at all. Any suggestions, what I did wrong, or which one of the two components you guys think might have been the one to break? The new charging dock, which also contains the contacts for it, or the speaker's connection itself? I took as much care as I possibly could when I did it, but still... Help, please?
help?!

I'd go with the phone to a local repair shop and show them what happens.
Since it turns on when it's only in a certain position, it must me some faulty contacts.
When the screen was replaced they might have damaged something.
Was it done in a local repair store? If so, did you check the phone before accepting it back?
have you tried disconnecting front camera, ear-speaker or proximity/light sensor, camera or hardware button flex cable one by one, to check if problem persists? i believe thats may be connector related problem.

g2 display water damage, which part to replace?

my d800 was immersed in the pool for a few minutes.
tried heating it with a hair dryer immediately. then left it in rice for a couple of days.
after charging for a little bit, i hit the power button. phone turned on like normal, but lcd was all messed up.
it was like distorted rgb dots all over the screen. and there was no haptic feedback to my touch.
the phone functioned perfectly - ringtones, led notifications, etc. only, i couldn't see anything.
i left it off for a couple of weeks, and switched it on again today. the display is only black now, but i can see it is backlit, compared with when the screen is off. and the phone vibrates now when i touch the screen.
so i'm guessing the digitizer works?
looking to repair it myself, whatever might need replacing.
any ideas, guys, on what i have to change here? or just leave it like this and hope it eventually works again?
also, suggestions or links for items and instructions that might've helped you will be much appreciated.
