Hellloo! New A3 2016 owner here.
Quick question, how to get the android on screen button i.e. home, back, and recent apps in this phone?
I tried using the qemu.hw.mainkeys=0, but after restart it will immediately cause "System UI has stopped working" error repeatedly
Thanks!

I just unboxed the NEW Galaxy S4 Google Play edition (GT-I9505ZWG) but can't even reach the home screen! Can you guys imagine how frustrating I am right now?
1. When I booted the phone at first time, the touch screen freeze in setup wizard process, then reboot itself automatically. It keeps rebooting that I have to remove battery to shut it down. Several times tried, setup never finished.
2. Sometimes a Force Close window pop up with "The System UI has stopped" or "The Settings has stopped" in the middle of the setup wizard process.
3. I tried entering the recovery mode and wipe/factory reset the phone but nothing changed. It still keep freeze&reboot.
Maybe it's a newly shipped model so I googled everywhere and couldn't find a similar issue. Does anyone have a clue about this problem? Is it a software issue between stock Android and Samsung or a hardware issue?
Please help!!! :crying::crying::crying:
Hello everybody,
I receive the message "system UI has stopped" when I rotate the screen.
1.) I click on the "ok" button to get rid of the message
2.) The phone goes to standby modus, I need to enter my pin to unlock the phone
3.) Home screen is shown, it's not possible to enter the task manager, touch button on phone doesn't respond
4.) After some time the touch button responds and I can close the application
Technical details:
Paranoid Android version: 6.0.1
Security patch: 1 May 2016
3.4.0 [email protected]
Any ideas how to solve this problem?
Best regards,
Rob
Problem solved. Installed ZenUI as launcher.
Problem seems to be located in launcher.
I'm trying to use Volskwaged/Skoda MirrorLink together with my S7 Edge but shortly after establishing connection, the phone soft restarts while some popup menu don't work (eg. including shutdown menu while pressed Power Key). I do need to shutdown phone via Volume Down+Power to get it fully operational again and/or via adb reboot. Someone faced such issue, any advice pls ?
SM-G935F / Android 6.0.1 / PDA G935FXXU1BPJJ
Anyone pls ?
So really nobody use Mirrorlink ?
Nobody.
So, the mystery is resolved - the soft restarts are caused/trig by freezing Samsung Keyboard. I got issue that sometime Samsung forced it's keyboard instead of GBoard so I disabled it.... and it triggered soft reboots when using Mirrorlink. NO IDEA WHY Btw, it's causing issues both on 6.0.1 and 7.0 versions.
Same problem here with my S7.
Reboot after MirrorLinkn plugging, and no hardware button works anymore!
I have disabled "Samsung keyboard" with Package Disabler Pro... I'll try tomorrow to enable it, and see if mirrorLink works.
Hi guys,
I have a strange issue with my phone. After the upgrade to 7.0 my fingerprint sensor has stopped working. When i try try to access it it says that an error has occured and prompts me to restart my device. The weird thing about it is that it is very warm to the touch every time my screen is on. After a reset to factory settings i see that the sensor is getting warm after the security initialisation on the first setup. I have two guesses:
- it is a hardware issue
- the sensor is constantly being used by some background service and gets into error.
I tried to downgrade to 6.0.1 but odin keeps crashing at cache.img .
Any ideeas on what to do ?
Thanks !
Probably a hardware issue mate, I'd get it checked out
I tried to root my Galaxy S5 using king root on my PC, it took almost 2hrs but now king root is stuck on 99%, not only that but my Galaxy S5 keeps rebooting to a black screen and there's a pop up message that says "process system isn't responding, do you want to close it? " What should I do now? I need some help please.

Try holding Volume - button and Power On/Off button simultaneously. This will turn your device off. When your phone is off, press the same combination again until you enter the Download Screen. From there you can reinstall the stock rom and this will probably solve your problem. Or you can try another way: when your device is off, instead of holding Volume - button, hold Volume + button and Power On/Off button at the same time. This will take you to the recovery screen where you can reset your phone.

2 things :
- Maybe you need to disable driver signature verification on Windows
- Disable EVERY security feature (phone lock, tracking, etc), on phone. Disable Samsung acc.
For me, Kingroot never worked for S5, but the rooted kernel flashed with Odin worked.
Reinstall Stock ROM and then flash via Odin3 chainfire auto root
