hello everyone ! so i have a note 4 N910C and since the marshallow update when i press lock (screen off ) it dosnt turn again , i have to take the battery or press the 3 bottons since i cant see **** ..
also can't repare in here because the samsung company dont want to take charge of a phone that is not sold in the coutry ( Tunisia and the sell N910H version.. )
i put the screen on time to 10 mins to help a little but its still a burden..
any help please on how to make things easier ?

i have an xperia x2 and i'm using it about 3 months (that means the phone still guaranteed)
i use it normally until the power button suddenly not functioned again ..
i don't know what happen .. is it a hardware problem or wrong setting on phone .. ?
when i press the power button , ussually the screen goes off , but now, nothing happens .
now the phone has the screen on for everyday .. zzzz what a bad day ..

The power button doesnt do anything or either combo buttons ...
I also plugged my galaxy in AC with a charger but still the charging icon doesnt shows up ( I Think its not the charger problem because it works with other devices .. ))
A while ago i was able to open it but it suddenly turn off ... but now its not even turning on or going to galaxy y logo screen

remove the battery
connect phone to pc via usb cable
open odin
put phone into download mode (press power button home button and vol down at same time)
if the phone goes into download mode continue to flash stock rom firmware via odin
if nothing happens and phone wont turn on take it to the service centre as its a possible hardware fault

I think ur phone's motherboard has some problem.... Go to a samsung store and get it repaired....

Btw.. my phone is almost 2 years old ??? i dunno but i'm sure the warranty is expired ...

Good decision.... I dont think the repairing process would be too costly.... :good:
My sister screwed my phone
my sister tell the truth that the battery get wet -_- miraculously it suddenly turns on ...
but sometimes it suddenly turns off .... then normal booting (pressing power button) will not work ....
i have to plug it with charger (even for 1 second ) before pressing power button for it to boot -_-
But im happy atleasy it boots xD

I think you can buy a new battery for your device... :good:
It just costs around 200 - 250 rs only... :highfive:

if the battery is wet don't use that it can cause problems to phone your phone will get damaged
Hi guys,
My 3 days old S5 suddenly died (original firmware). The phone was working ok, no problems at all. Then I powered off the S5, took out the sim card and used it on my old S3 (cyanogenmod). I left the S5 opened for about an hour, battery not inserted. After using S3 for about an hour I turned it off, took out the sim and put it in the S5. WTF !**!?"*#?"!#
The S5 vibrates, i see the blue light, the start up music plays and some lines an dots appear on the screen for about a second. If I press home or power button the menu and back key light up, that s all ... i tried to call my phone (if the screen was dead) but nothing
The battery is charging (red when charging, then green)
I tried volume up or down + home + power button -> nothing
any help appreciated

Maybe a hardware deficit. Try letting it die and try again.
Generally though (goes for me and most) if your phone acts up in anyway with no possible fix, send/take it in and get a new one.
UPDATE !!! ( copy/paste from another thread)
I bought a new s5 on the 17th of April, after only four days the phone stopped working. WTF ! ... First everything was fine the phone was working ok ... the fourth day, I powered off the phone, took out the battery and sim card, I left s5 opened (battery and sim out) on my desk table. (I was by my phone all the time) I was testing something on my s3 and needed the sim card. After less then an hour I have put the sim and battery back in my s5 and powered on the phone. The phone vibrated, the blue light went on but the screen was black (only some lines appeared when booted, but not every time)... WTF ... I couldn´t call my self so I thought, there is something wrong with the phone and a took it to samsung repair shop... and then the bad news... they told me the screen is broken !! ... but there were no marks on my screen ... the screen broke inside on the upper right corner... and the repair would cost me around 200eur ... I was so fu***in mad ... The phone never fell down ! ... I was extra cautious with the phone ! and the phone was only 4 days old ...
This is probably my last samsung phone.
And here the question
I hope I´m not wrong but, ... if the screen cracks, then the phone should work normal (ok you don´t see anything but all the other functions should work) ... ??? ... because my s5 didn´t boot, at least I think so ... like i said ... the s5 vibrated, blue light went on and the back and menu key lighted when pressed ... BUT !!! if you are pressing the volume key (on a working s5) up or down you should hear a beep when the volume is max or min ... on my s5 there was no beep, haptic was not working, but it was 100% turned on .... and my phone number was unreachable !! Patern was turned off !!
Any comments, questions and answers welcome ...

i have a n9005 ,, suddenly screen goes black ,, touch not working ,, but phone is working ,, i tried to remove battery and do every thing possible for 10 hours ,, nothing help ,
i thought that this is a software problem (xposed+gravity+xnote) something like conflict , but i can enter download mode ( ican't see any thing but with just volume keys) , i flashed a stock rom with odin ,, same problem ,, the blue led on and nothing on the screen not even SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 3, i thought that the lcd is dead ,, but i found a video that if the lcd dead the touch still working , and this not happen here ,
i tried another battery ,, but no hope
i removed sim and sd card ,, no hope
this problem happened before like 3 times ,, but i just remove battery twice or 3 times and it work again .
so what do you think guys ???
note: My phone is out of warranty (from foreign country) .
If the issue were software/rom related, the screen would work when in recovery or download mode.
Unfortunately it seems it is a hardware problem and you have to send the phone to service.
I would take it apart and check all connectors, not too difficult if you follow one of many videos on youtube. The fact that phone is working, but no screen and no touch makes me think it's something basic, like screen power supply or maybe whole connector is loose? if you don't see anything obvious, put it back and send it out then.

some time ,my lights screen phone dont trun on when i unlock my device , while other function of my phone works good in that moment( for example , ringing ,and even touching and .... )
in other time , all function is active and works good .

It could be a hardware issue. I'd take it to a Samsung Service Center and let them take a look at it.
