[Q]g-sensor freezes

Hello
Im having a problem regarding screen rotation in my android
I am using [DL DesireZ v3.4] NAND rom
Just after I flashed it, it worked really fine for me, but then I decided to calibrate g sensor what was my mistake since now it freezes and doesnt work the way I want it to work, when put the phone at the landscape mode I have to move like 10 times in various directions to make it work
Is there any possibility to fix it?
#edit
I calibrated it on a flat surface, nothing was wrong I guess..
G-sensor was a problem with Android on sd.
Never heard of any fix though, try reinstalling the rom, i guess MAGLDR does still work right?

So is it fixed now? Otherwise you could try calibrate with the screen facing down.
no its not fine, I just wrote it to prevent questions like
DID YOU PUT YOUR HD2 ON A FLAT SURFACE WHILE CALIBRATING?
I tried with screen facing the floor but no change
and what I dont want to do is reinstalling the system
#edit
ok, its fixed by itself
I dont get this phone.
thanks for your time

no sensors showing up an severe lag, please help!

Hello people,
today i encountered a strange behaving of my i9505 (100% stock),
suddenly the sensors stopped working at all (CPU-Z shows name, but no values of the sensors)
and there´s a massive lag when waking up the device from deep sleep and putting it into it with the power button.
Have anybody experienced this before /knows a solution?
i´m so thankful for answers!
/edit:
i tried:
# a factory reset from the settings menu
# wiping data/factory reset / wipe cache from CWM
greetings, klaus
Anyone?
I had the same problem, sensor were not working at all. I've sent the phone for warranty repair. They have changed motherboard and sensors.
Wipe didn't help mi either
The strange thing is ALL of them stopped working. *#0*# sensor test just shows freezed values
very possible motherboard problem. it is very unusual that all sensors stop working at once.
you should sent it to repair...

Most likely a Motherboard problem.
Claim your warranty.
Okay i'm sending it in today...
thank you guys for your answers and i hope you have more luck with your device.
Same here....
Hi there. I had same problems and sent phone to service. Its hardware issue. They've changed mainboard!

Fingerprint/Home stopped working

I recently damaged my opt because I let a water droplet stay on the home button for quite a few minutes, I didn't care to remove it and now the home button/fingerprint isnt responding at all.
Please tell me possible solutions ? every other thing is working perfectly(both hardware and software). I tried wiping data and cache, it didnt work, I tried dialing *#808# and under fingerprint auto test it says FAIL. any possible solutions ?
Well, seems that is a pretty damaged button. You may try the trick with rice and let your phone stay there for 24 hours and see, if you get the rest of the water out and pray. But I doubt, it'll help. If it doesn't: You need some professional repairing.

Home Button + FPS not working!

Today morning (about 6 hours ago), i was having bath and i picked up a call and after i got out of bathroom i saw that my home button was not responding. I tried rebooting and clearing cache. Nothing worked. I was on exodus at that time. Now I flashed oxygen OS 3.0 hoping it would work. But no luck
Can any1 tell me a solution??
PS - I havent tried charging solution (draining battery completely and full charging)
- Look at the Screenshot. Does it say 'PASS'?
Can any1 help me??

Yes bro... I hd sffr from this issue and solving by this way...
1)Reflash ur exodus modem on the rom
2)this will surly work
Flash h20s mm rom ... Then u cnn see ur fp worlng..and again go to ur dzire rom...
I had same trouble, flashed many roms official and developped, tried many tricks found in the web.... NO SUCCESS....
Finally i have opened my phone, touched the flat connection inside close to the home button, restarted my phone..... and all was OK AGAIN.....
So I definitively think it's a problem of contacts....

Thanks I'll try both methods

With the mine you loose your guaranty!
Okay. btw @neelsolanki
Both methods didnt work.
I think i have to go to service center. I think this might have happened due to wet hands

I've now had my fp sensor & home button die twice, the first time I tried everything under the sun, I reflashed all the things, tried stock everything, tried my luck with the contacts and also did the battery drain trick twice.. All to no avail.
I then gave up and accepted it for dead whilst waiting on a replacement button to be delivered, but before I got the chance to swap out what I though to be bad components unexpectedly the home button returned all functionality just like that.
It's now happened twice, and both times resolved itself frustratingly mysteriously.
Try not to be too worried about it all, enable your software keys and wait it out for the next 3-4 days.
And also, the first time my home button died I'd been using a wet cloth to dislodge dirt lodged in the cutout around the home button. So even seemingly water damage isint the be all and end all..

This worked for me:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/general/guide-official-stock-reset-to-oos-2-2-0-t3290707
Backup all your data before doing it. It wipes all partitions, including internal SDCARD.
Worked for me

This worked for me
after I tried
flashing different roms
battery drain trick
holding home button, then force power off (after I did this, the fingerprint part worked, but the home button was overly sensitive, I could have my finger 3 inches away and it would detect it)
clearing cache
full wipe
full factory reset
I might use some rubber cement or glue to hold the connections in place, but im going to run with it for a while to see.
I put my phone this night in container of rice. Hoping it would solve the issue. Still it isn't working[emoji20] . I'm afraid of disassembling the phone. I think going to service center is only the hope

My device doesnt detetct in the tool. It stays 'RELINK' in the device manager all time. I tried everything
This http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/general/guide-helper-zips-to-switch-oos-3-0-oos-t3351253 fixes the home button for me. Use LP.zip as the post says, that made both the home button and fingerprint sensor work perfectly for me in CM 13.

Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 Screen stays black after i type my PIN

Hello recently i had an issue with my proximity sensor it was stucked at 0 cm
until it felt down and then worked for a little time but then stopped again
So i decide to dissasembly it and clean the sensors and everything ( i blowed air and used a tooth brush too)
when i assembled everything back i booted on recovery to make a clean install of my rom
everything was going well until i booted the phone and after i typed my PIN code and drag the screen up to unlock it
then suddenly screen goes black and only turned on when someone calls me.
When im pressing the power/lock or home button always playing the lock sound.
Tried everything, i tried to boot the phone without each sensor but always doing the same thing
I tried to disscharge the phone, pulling of the battery and keep power button pressed for 1 minute but again the same thing
The phone is working well in TWRP (touchscreen) , Can someone explain to me what happend?
Also when someone calls me the proximity sensor is working well.
Running Mokee ROM android 6.0 but i tried to recover back to s4's official backup and the cyanogen release 5.1 but also got the same problem
I think its the proximity sensor could it be?
Is something wrong with my post? maybe i wrote too many and no1 reads it ? or no1 have seen this before?
Anyways i need help so much, i cant call anyone i cant read texts i cant do anything and i cant buy another one
It could be a hardware or software issue. Did you try to find a way to completely disable the proximity sensor in the ROM?
Was the phone dropped? Any loose connections in the phone?
Does this happen if you flash ROMs other than Mokee, for example, Cyanogenmod?

No, because the firmware isn't the problem. Your proximity sensor I believe is screwed up, probably from using a toothbrush on it and scratching the sensor. While I'm curious as to where you saw or heard that bit of advice since toothbrushes are abrasive, it's not really relevant.
Replace the proximity sensor.

Yea i thought in the begining that this is the problem but explain me why on call proximity works normal if i take the phone away from my ear screen on and if i get it back screen off simple normal.
Also i tried to boot the phone without the proximity connected on it and again it was doin the same thing and 1 more question does the proximity sensor have the possibility to lock the phone?
I really dont know what is going on propably i have to buy a new one i think
I used a tooth brush cause i didnt have anything else but i didnt put much pressure i just touched it
I must upload a video to show u whats exactly happening because its very stange i cant get to home screen with any way everytime it shuts the screen off
but if i choose to go to settings and get black screen when some1 calls and talk when i end the call it will show me the settings but if i try to get anywhere else i will get again black screen and when
some calls and end again the call it will show me that i was choosed before its so annoying really.
Forgive me for my bad english.
any suggestions?
