My phone downloaded the N Beta. Rebooted and got an error message as soon as it tried installing. Force restarted (holding vol down + power). Rebooted. Now when I go to system update the screen for N Beta briefly flashes then it goes to the regular Marshmallow system update screen. So now I can't get the N Beta. How do I get the beta to download now? And no, I do not want to flash it manually, don't want to deal with unlocking the bootloader stuff as my hone is still under warranty.

Unlocking the bootloader will not void warranty in any way at all so just unlock and install manually

guys, my phone is non rooted, locked bootloader. (xt1068 from flipkart, india)
i updated to android 5.0.2 from system ota updates, the official update which came today.
It was fine in the beginning. i did a factory reset, and after typing my google password , the phone went
into a bootloop and got stuck in the blue ripple motorola animation.
i tried turning it off by pressing the power button for 10 seconds. but it goes back to the same state.
someone help me.
Try going to recovery mode and reset factory once again. To go into recovery switch off bootlooping phone by holding power key for few seconds, once the mobile turns off completely, hold the Volume+ and power button simultaneously and release after few seconds, you will go to recovery mode, factory reset from their and I think this will solve your issue.
it'll stop automatically.

same happened to me but i had rooted my phone.
it went into bootloop and phone restarted quite a few times.
then after some auto reboots it stopped rebooting and msg displayed that it was unable to update to lollipop.
but the bootloop had stopped.
Same forma me, waiting the ROM stock lollipop and flash it with rsd lite... The procedure work with lock bootloader, it's only way if you wont unlock the bootloader
My phone is rooted and I've accidently click on Install Update and now my phone is rebooting into recovery and trying to install the updates. I've taking the battery out but everytime I put it back it goes to recovery again. How can I cancel this update? I don't want to loose root. Currently running 4.4.3. TIA.
Samething happened to me and now I'm stuck without root on 4.4.4 1st update got installed and 2nd update failed.
Figured it out, take out the battery, hold down home + volume down + power, it goes to custom OS with triangle and exclamatory, press volume down to cancel. Phone reboot with software update unsuccessful.
I installed a substratum theme on the latest freedom os 2.11.1 (open beta 9 ) applied some overlays on swift dark theme(paid) ,selected 7.1 on the menu before applying the overlays and then restarted...After restart, phone responded for a while then again restarted. Now after restart i see a black screen nothing happens and its restarts again ..i realised i messed something up in substratum theme..so i decided to go to recovery and reflash the rom again but it didnt let me get into recovery also... when i pressed vol down and power button to go to recovery, one plus logo came and then i was stuck with a black screen and notification light was glowing white..... so i decided to go for the unbrick tool , used it booted into OXYGEN OS 3.5.4... AND GUESS WHAT ...... phone responded for a while then again restarted and next time its a black screen ..... SUPER SCARED GUYS.. did i kill my phone ?
It's higly unlikely you magically broke the phone by just applying a Substratum theme. Also since your bootloader is unlocked you shouldn't have to press any other button combinations at boot to enter TWRP, just startup and press volume up or down at the unlocked boot warning message to enter the menu and step down to recovery and press power button. Are you sure your TWRP is up to date? (3.1.1-0 as of now), TWRP and storage encryption is a known problem sector in these phones with encryption keys not matching with TWRP and some more.

Hi, I'm using p585y and install official firmware but from another region because my region don't have update yet
After flashing everything works fine, then after restarting, the tablet won't boot it said something about fap lock or something
And now I cannot flash the same firmware again said it was block or something
I don't understand what triggered the fap lock
Is it because I accidentally tap check update after successfully flashed or restarted
Now it stuck and won't even turn off , any idea ?
Thanks
Find your proper firmware and flash it back in download mode with Odin. Press and hold power + volume down + home button
Thanks I'll try it, can it works even if current installed is 7 and the original region correct is 6?
And do you know what really happened? How to properly install with different region code?

The FRP lock is the "theft prevention" security feature. It is too late now, but anytime you plan on flashing rather than letting Samsung update your tablet, you should enable "developer" and then turn on "OEM Enable". I'm hoping that you remember your Google login and password for the tablet because you'll need them.
As the other poster noted, you need to hold the Home, Vol Down and Power buttons to turn the tablet off. Then, as soon as the screen turns black, switch from Vol down to Vol up. (If you don't switch fast enough, it will just put you into Odin download mode. Try again.) If you switched in time, it should put you in the "Restore" screen. Choose "Factory Reset" and then reboot. If it tells you it can't reset because of the FRP lock, you'll need to go back to the Odin download mode by again holding Home, Vol down and Power for ten seconds, but this time don't switch buttons. When the green screen appears, release all button and press Vol up. Then use Odin to flash your original version of the stock ROM.
Then, the very first time you get a successful boot, you need to put in the Google login and password before it will let you proceed. If you don't remember them, you are in trouble.
I understand now, and I have solve it using original firmware and Odin using Samsung firmware downloader tool developed by xda member
Thanks for your help
Hey guys,
A friend of mine handed me a phone I used a few years ago - a Huawei P10+. The problem is, it won't boot. A friend offered a small bounty - so I thought I'd extend that small bounty to people here for immediate assistance. If you take Paypal, there $25 USD up for grabs if your links/instructions and assistance lead to unbricking - correct booting of the phone....
WHAT WE KNOW:
- VKY-L29 dual sim phone
- Previously been successfully rooted and was functioning fine
- Previous User may have tried wiping EVERYTHING (unsuccessfully, obviously) for re-installation of stock ROM
THE PROBLEM:
The phone displays the white/orange text screen, stating "Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted. To learn more visit: http://zh.ui.vmall.com/emotiondownload.php?mod=restore
(1) Press power to continue .... nothing happens when pressed
(2) Press volume up for 3 secs to enter ERecovery to restore your device ... this works, but CANNOT download, or fails to download package over WIFI (only other options are to shutdown/reboot)
(3) Your device will continue to boot 5 seconds later if no operation ... nothing happens, it just hangs on this screen - even when prompt shows "Your device is rebooting now"
It doesn't matter if this stays rooted or not, we just need to successfully reinstall the STOCK ROM and booting/functioning normally.
Any assistance is appreciated.
Regards

Boot in eRecovery by holding the Volume Up button, after booting in eRecovery just download the latest package via connecting to a Wi-Fi network and it should boot up just fine.

Try downloading an older firmware extract the contents of the .app file using huawei firmware extractor and flash system.img recovery_ramdisk.img oeminfo.img product.img and vendor.img using fastboot and if the phone boots up just update it to a newer firmware, that's how i did it to my P10 Plus, it didn't wanna download via eRecovery too, sorry for the misunderstanding i forgot that it doesn't wanna download for you, i don't have the device with me now because i broke my display (again) so it's getting fixed but it won't be done untill saturday, i'll upload the firmware i used so that you can try too.
if the bootloader is unlocked flash twrp using the command: fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk "path to TWRP.img"
after flashing type: fastboot reboot and immediately start pressing the Volume Up and power button untill the HUAWEI logo shows up, after booting to TWRP flash oeminfo.img using the install option in TWRP, after that reboot and try downloading the firmware using eRecovery again, hopefully this time it will let you download it.

Dude pls wait don't try this i found another way, i bricked my phone accidentally today and i found a way, gonna take me some time to explain but i'll try my best.
So first of all download this firmware here extract it on your pc and boot to bootloader and flash TWRP_kirin.img to recovery_ramdisk, after that reboot the phone and boot in recovery via holding the volume up and power button, when in TWRP copy the dload folder from the firmware you extracted on your pc to your phone after that copy the RECOVERY8_NoCheck.img to your phone and flash it as recovery ramdisk via the install option in TWRP, power off your phone and press and hold the volume buttons and the power button and wait for it to boot and let it install the update, i really hope this helps you, it helped me after struggling with it all day long.
Hi Lester, it's been an eternity since I was online here as I put this on the back-burner with more pressing work and family priorities. Thank you very much for providing the files. I noticed the ROM firmware is EU, when i am outside of EU....but shouldn't be too big of a problem.... I am getting around to doing all of this now, I have downloaded the files. When are you typically online to chat about this?

It cannot boot into TWRP, only the eRecovery. No option to flash anything on SD card, other than connecting to WIFI...
Hii roosta,
I might have some problem with you, let me facing your thread , I 'like to learn too how to make my P1o plus back to normal again, it's being long time for me to bring this up...
