I need some help with my phone.. - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

My phone wasn't working properly so i tried to flash my firmware with Odin: I installed latest version of Odin, installed the Samsung Driver and this firmware: G935FXXU1APB4_CL7162483_QB8489947, but like an idiot i forgot to restart my PC after installing the Samsung drivers and it failed, ever since my phone was a brick stuck with the next thing on the screen: "An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software.", after the fail i realized i didn't restart my PC, so i restarted it and tried again, this time i got another FAIL! right after Cache.img, and since then i'm losing my mind that i've broken my phone for good 1 month after my father bought it.
I've tried using this pit file: HERO2LTE_EUR_OPEN_HIDDEN250M and it succeeded my phone was booting into bootload, then i used this firmware: G935FXXU1APD1_CL7538748_QB9125704, this firmware also crashed right after Cache.img and got my phone back to the Smart Switch message, no bootload.
I also tried SmartSwitch(Device Initialization) but it keeps failing at 95% saying that it encountered an error and that i should try using Software Emergency Recovery, which doesn't recognize my phone as connected( it down't appear in the tab).
Also, every time it failed in Odin a message colored green appeared on my device in Download Mode: "Custom Binary(SYSTEM) Blocked By FRP Lock"
I've tried multiple versions of Odin, all my PC's USB ports, and multiple USB cables. Always the same result, FAIL! after Cache.img.
My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (SM-G935F) bought in Spain from Vodafone.(country code ATL)
Please ask for any information needed to fix my device, i'm begging you for your help.

You can find your official firmware on sammobile download it.
Next force your device into powering down by holding the power button and volume down then immediately when it powers down hold power/home/volume down to boot into download mode.
Open Odin then plug your device in with charging cable it came with.
You'll see added on the Odin screen.
Place the firmware in the AP slot let it set up then hit start.
It'll take a couple minutes but it'll work you'll have your stock device back.
No need to flash any pit files.
Next time before trying anything please read everything about your device FRP lock problems have been extensively addressed.

What firmware are you flashing?
To fix FRP lock you have to Odin your devices official firmware. I've just Googled it and it's confirmed. There's a ton of info I found using Google.
Once you get it done and want Root make sure you enable developer options and enable OEM unlock and Android debugging

The thing is i don't get to have that problem because my phone can't start since all firmwares fail. Besides if i would get there i do know all my passwords.
I get that message in Recovery mode right after the fail in odin.

Any Ideas?
Sorry, haven't seen your edit, but the thing is i don;t want root acces i just want my original firmware, when it failed the first time i was using the official firmware(or at least i think i did, i was using the firmware that i posted earlier), it is the same firmware Smart Switch tries to use.
Could it be my PC or some hardware of the phone? before i tried Odin it was closing apps uncontrollably and restarting itself every few minutes.

I found a lot stuff of Googling your situation and in the TWRP thread for the S7E there's a bunch of people solved it.
I never had the problem myself I enabled OEM unlock before starting anything.
What I told you to do is what I've read on others solving your situation.

Ok sorry I couldn't help you more. I had the FRP LOCK happen to me out of the blue a couple days ago so I did what I told you to do and had no problem.
I have no idea why the process didn't work for you. As I said I wish I had more knowledge on the matter.

Try reinstalling samsung drivers or kies to get odin to recognize the phone,
if Odin works again then you can try and flash stock firmware for your device
possible fix is to disable personalized message
I had same problem since KitKat 4.4.2 ( FNB8).
I think I fixed it by disabling personalized message on lock screen
1. go to Setting/LockScreen/Lock screen widget
2. disable personalized message by selecting clock
It doesn't sound like a software problem.
My guess is either your battery (is the battery swollen?) or a hardware problem.

Why do you assume it's a software problem? If your battery ran out and now you can't boot, then the chances that it's a software problem is something like 0,1%.
Your battery is probably damaged, try a new battery.

I also can't access the recovery.
Can someone send me the correct PIT files for GT-i9500 or the link plzzz now.
I managed to connect it with odin I believe my phone is soft bricked. So flashing stock firmware, but getting an error, no PIT partition found.

Stuck in bootloop and not even ODIN wants to work! Help!

Hi,
My wife's phone SM-G935F started to bootloop after a normal update. It goes to the loading screen (IMG 1) and just stays there. The only thing I can do from there is VolDown+Power to reset or Voldown+Home+Power to Recovery mode.
Can't access factory reset mode, and the only other thing i've been able for it to show is the light-blue screen with the "!" simbol and "Try using Smart Switch Recovery..." which didn't work.
IMG1= https://s11.postimg.org/w6vna4mwz/20161029_180455.jpg
I Don't exacly know the region of the phone, but i think it is the Trinidad and Tobago one (International unlocked bought from B&H).
Anyone knows how to know region from a cell you can't boot?
Also don't know if OEM was active or not, but i think this is the problem. If i can't boot the cell, hoy to disable OEM prot?
When I try to ODIN it shows this:
http://postimg.org/image/4yyt2sd1b/
And then it FAILS
I don't know what more to do.
My odin active options are:
Auto Reboot
F. Reset Time
And the phome screen goes from this:
http://postimg.org/image/qwqoiu2nz/
To displaying this
http://smg.photobucket.com/user/brava/media/20150902_012011_zpsjm9lr9np.jpg.html
Just instead of RECOVERY, it says BOOT.
I successfully updated the bootload so the "!" simbol and "Try using Smart Switch Recovery..." screen isn't showing anymore, but the bootloop is still going. Cant update the AP, CP not CSC.
Anyone has any idea what can i do?
This phone was running Marshmelow, never had been rooted and never used custom roms in it. It was only 3 months old. Think of the children
Thanks
smart switch will work if you download the drivers to your computer. this step is necessary to allow smart switch to see your phone.
then use smart switch, click on more, emergency recovery, then device initialization.
followinstructions, it should take about 5 minutes to recover your phone, if you have input the correct information.

This is the case when i try to AD everytime. I'm quite sure my problem is the region of the firmware, but i can't know WHICH firmware to download. I called the US store where i bought it and they told me it was from Vietnam.
Got the Vietnam Stock Firmware (XXV) and it still is "Blocked by FRP Lock" when it tryies to do the recovery.img file...
Anyone knows how to get the region of the phone from the serial/imei or any other meens whith a soft bricked phone?
I tried SmartSwitch but it had the same problem. I think it used the region from the BL/CSC i flashed to it instead of the original one...
Also, the radio from the Vietnam version didn't match my phone...
Any ideas?
I can't take it to the manufacturer, i bought it online from H&M in the US and I live in South America.

G570F bricked. Only loads Download Mode but Odin stuck on Initiliazation! Please help

So, my Galaxy J5 Prime G570F switched off suddenly while I was using it. Since then, it only loads to Download Mode (Vol - + Power + Home) and shows Downloading, do not turn off target. I downloaded the stock rom files from xda and tried various versions of Odin with no success. Each time, Odin gets stuck on Initialization and my phone screen just shows the same Downloading. I noticed FRP and Secure Download are enabled. I have tried different USB ports and am using the original USB cable that came with it.
I even tried the old Odin 1.86 and here's the log from that:-

hmm, is it possible to exit download mode and enter in the stock recovery?
Its weird because you did not flashed anything to brick it, maybe something got corrupt and a factory reset could help.

Hi guys,
so my mobile is now going into download mode
if you want to see the full story of how my mobile bricked you can check my previous question.

as of now i can go into the download mode but when i try to flash the 7.0 Nougat version rom with it (the version which it had installed when it got bricked)
it starts the process but then it fails below is the log details :

Did you try connecting the phone to smart switch and try recovering from there?

This looks more like emmc chip (your phone's storage chip) error, you already lost all your data and if its a hardware issue then i doubt software reflash could fix it, but do tell me what was your current firmware number which was in your phone before all this , also send a pic of download mode..
Also what screen stripes you were talking about in your earlier thread? Send a screenshot of them too (looks more like a hardware problem too)
If you can't post images here on xda, just upload to an external site like imgur and send your pic link here ..
Per my best knowledge, smart switch doesnot support emergency recovery anymore (but if it still supports in some old versions or it works - then please do try that too) .. Good luck

My firmware was Nougat 7.0 . S7 EDGE SM-G935FD
I will try to put the images on the site you mentioned and give the link here
i didnt try the smart switch as i was afraid it might automatically format it and put the latest firmware , i hope the emmc ship is still recoverable as thats my only hope if firmware flashing doesnt help

that sucks man
what about the emmc chip , would it be possible to do a chip off recovery?
what i dont understand is that if its a hardware issue then why does it even turn on and allow me to go to the recovery mode

What was the last firmware present on your phone. Hardware damage is always tricky.. sometimes it allows phone to boot with weird things going on before completely failing..
I can see that your bootloader number is 2 , i will give you the combination rom, try flashing that in odin
Be warned that all your data in your phone is already lost, at this point your only goal is to make your phone working again, thats where i am helping..
Combination u2 rom : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JKDiV3LmqUt8GLlOLnmZ6Xsqxn-Hpv9d/view?usp=drivesdk
Flash it in odin 3.14.4 and untick auto reboot in odin options, if flashing is successful .. ur phone will still be in download mode.. hold vol down + home + pwr button to force reboot and when phone starts rebooting( screen goes black ) immediately change holding from vol down to vol up+ home + pwr buttons , trick here is to force reboot to recovery directly from download mode without booting combination rom, do a factory data wipe in combination recovery.. then clear cache and then try reboot to combination rom..
If you could boot into combination rom, run some hardware tests.. and report back, if everything goes good, we can try flashing the last stock firmware that was present on your device, Good luck

I honestly dont remember the exact firmware details, all i know is that it was Nougat 7.0 and an update was available for a long time but i didnt update as i had no space (like only 800 or 900mb was left)
I see, so the data is lost.
Soo this combination U2 rom , it will replace the rom which was previously installed?
Sorry i am just trying to learn more about this combination U2 rom as i have never read about it
Thanks

It will just help to unbrick your device (provided that it gets flashed successfully in odin first)
Just follow my steps in above post after (if) odin could flash successfully.

You tried flashing already..
Flashing anything has the risk to lose all your data if you have no backup before ..
And flashing with HOME CSC doesn't erases data..
But as you said you tried flashing various stock firmwares, but odin failed in the middle..
So yeah, i think your data is already lost
But if it was that important , i seen some android programs which can recover deleted files from phone but they are mostly paid and also phone should be in working condition..
Also there are professional data recovery companies who would take in your phone and pull its memory chip apart and use their special hardware on that chip to extract anything they could.. but there is no guarantee that you will get back any important data from it and their cost is huge for this process..
Thats why its recommended to always keep a back up of all your data

yes i tried flashing the stock but that recovery.img error occurs.
i have always read people say that you lose data after flashing a stock rom which isnt true as i recently flashed Note 3 Neo SM N7502 and Note 3 SM-N9005
both with stock rom and all the data, apps and contacts were intact.
i only used the AP files on both and nothing else
but i have never flashed a combination rom so was curious if the data is erased if that is flashed.
Yes, i have seen several apps like wondershare/dr fone which can recover the data but the problem is they either require root or say if unrooted the USB debugging has to be on , in my case i never rooted nor turned on the USB debugging mode as i never needed it.
i live in dubai , currently i am searching for someone who can professional pull out all the data from the chip but due to the coronavirus lockdown all shops are shut and even online technician arent active.
Yes its better to always backup the data, it happened so suddenly as i mentioned in my first post it automatically went blank when i plugged in my usb
anyhow i will try to flash the combination rom and let you know
Thanks

You cannot compare a note 3 with s7 series generation lol
And yes , flashing a stock rom wipes all data if you DON'T choose HOME _ CSC in csc box..
Flashing with home_csc won't cause data loss but its akin to a dirty flash .. causes problems and is there for upgrading android os without data loss, and its not generally a good thing to NOT wipe data and factory reset after flashing as it causes problems..
IF YOU INTEND TO DO A PROFESSIONAL RECOVERY OF YOUR DATA DON'T FLASH ANYTHING ANYMORE AS IT WILL FURTHER MAKE IT DIFFICULT TO RETRIEVE !
WARNING : combination rom would wipe all your data, so be warned if you flash it, it would be even more difficult to recover data ..

Odin fails to flash ROM - SM-T585

Hi all, first time trying to flash a ROM and having difficulties.
I recently purchased a Tab A from Ebay and after a few weeks got round to using it, turned it on and it is saying that it needs the account it was setup with in order to finish the setup.
Tried messaging the seller but haven't got anywhere so thought I just wipe it to factory defaults and try again. But it says this cant be done as the FRP lock is enabled.
So did some reading and found out about Odin and flashing the ROM, so downloaded Odin3_v3.14.4, and ROM making sure it was the right version for my Tab, downloaded USB drivers, put Tab in download mode and loaded Odin running as Admin, loaded the AP file and clicked start then it just fails!!! No message comes up on the Tab just fails in Odin?
I have included log below so can someone please help me. I have screen captures to but cant find out how to add them here.
Thanks

If you are getting the error blocked by FRP lock when flashing then that means you need to enable OEM unlocking which you cannot do since you can't get past the setup screen. You really do not have any option but to return it or message the seller

Hi JJcoder and thanks for the reply, I was hoping that you wasn't going to say that!
I cant get hold of the seller obv because they knew of this problem, going to have to just take it on the chin by the looks of it and a lesson learnt!!
Thanks again for the reply dude.

There is one thing that you can try...
You have to find a combination firmware with the same bootloader version as your current one.
Then, Flash that combination firmware and then flash back to stock. It has worked on some other devices to bypass FRP.
The locked bootloader shouldn't block it because it is still Official firmware.
If that doesn't work then like I said you don't really have any other option...

Ok first download this Odin: https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=4952061
And then download this firmware: https://mega.nz/file/Ynow0S7B#mRuSS_qZUKzmRPQHwfVCRv1H09PCHtbu-8J_pqr5_b8
Then flash this firmware in the AP slot and make sure repartition is not enabled.
If you get an error than try this firmware: https://mega.nz/file/IyxlmSCK#MtyhDSad3a_xQypxAvLQU2nS0-RbapT0FvfOq_j27Zs
Then flash back to stock ROM and cross your fingers ?
Edit: If you can't boot into the combo firmware than you can do a factory reset in recovery.
