Stuck in downloading mode after trying to root using CF-Root - Galaxy Grand Prime Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I tried to root my grand prime sm-g530h using the oding flashable file from https://autoroot.chainfire.eu/#odin. I tried this version https://download.chainfire.eu/945/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-fortunave3g-fortunave3gxx-smg530h.zip to root my phone. I enabled usb debugging before rooting. Then backed up all my data. Then I went into download mode by pressing "volume down+home+power" and connected my phone to laptop. Odin was already running in administrative mode and it detected my device. I loaded the file using the ap button and pressed the start button.
At this point odin said "Reset" and my phone restarted automatically into the download mode again. and it got stuck there. nothing was changing in odin either, the last log was "Removed".
I searched for solutions online and one of them said to uncheck "auto-reboot" before starting. I did that. and this time odin said "pass". then I unplugged my phone and removed the battery and tried to go into recovery mode using "volume up+home+power" but my device keeps on rebooting itself. and if I just try to switch on my device using the power button it goes into download/odin mode directly.
I searched for solutions again and tried the following: pressed the "volume down+home+power" but when the warning came instead of pressing volume up(continue), I pressed volume down(restart), but nothing happens! it still goes into odin mode directly and is stuck there!
I don't know what to do anymore! Can anyone please help? I don't know how to fix it!

I have the same problem!! Please HELP!!

[SOLVED] Help with N9005 Recovery Mode Loop

Hello guys!
I was going to backup my N9005 rom via ROM Manager, and since I didn't have Clockwork Mod neither TWRP, the app tried to install CW for me.
But after the phone rebooted I was stuck on the Recovery mode loop.
I tried pressing every combination of buttons possible, tried taking of the battery, tried to connect to odin on pc... But nothing worked.
What should I do?
Thanks in advance!
Never mind, I think I solved the problem.
In case anyone has the same problem, here's how I got to Download Mode:
-Remove the battery.
-Press and Hold the Download Mode keys (Vol -, Power and Home).
-While you are holding these buttons, make a way to put the battery back again.
-Now the phone will boot in download mode, so you can use Odin now!
No download mode ???

[Q] Stuck in boot-loop and recovery mode doesn't work on stock android

I have a Samsung galaxy note 4 with stock android. My phone shut itself off while I was listening to pandora, and when I tried to turn it back on, it got stuck rebooting.
It gets to the Samsung splash screen, and no further. Even when I try to enter recovery mode using volume up + power + home, the splash screen appears with 'RECOVERY BOOTING..." in the corner, but it just reboots again.
I have tried turning the phone off completely using the power button, then turning it on again. I have tried removing the battery, letting it sit, and trying to restart again. I have tried charging it to see if that was the problem, but it's not. If I use volume down + power + home, I can get to the custom OS options, but I have not rooted my phone, so I don't know what the 'continue' options does.
How can I get my phone working again?
Turn off the phone. Enter download mode instead of recovery (volume down + home button + power) and open Odin on your PC and under AP add your .tar file (via Sammobile) and hit OK in order to get stock Touchwiz on your Note 4 again.

hi
firstly ,
If you cannot "factory reset " in recovery ....then and if nothing else works ? and you don't want to take phone to service provider /Samsung service centre .............
last resort is to( but you have to know what you doing !!!!)
is to reflash your device /phone current stock ROM,(that you were on),with Odin /pc..laptop
If you are unsure "how to flash ?" i suggest to Google /search for an straight forward video ,on web /Youtube ?
if so and you can get into download mode ( phone off ,pull battery..... insert battery , volume down + power + home button ) When in download mode ,volume up again and follow normal procedure to flash your stock ROM with Odin
Remember ..that above to flash stock Rom with Odin ,you don't need root.
Also ,in your post above you refer i quote......
"I can get to the custom OS options, but I have not rooted my phone, so I don't know what the 'continue' options does"
i think what you actually mean that you can get into download mode ,???...................
and the volume up is when you" ready " to flash your device and connected to pc/laptop with Odin ...
Also make sure if you know how to reflash ..... that before reflashing with Odin ,you have ticked correct boxes in Odin( .....and how Odin works )
Bottom line ...if nothing else works ,
a reflash of your correct phone ( current stock ) Rom you were on ,should fix it .
good luck

[SOLVED] flashed twrp via Odin but device still boots into stock recovery

Hi,
I just aquired a used SM-G900F today for 130€ (tadaa). I flashed twrp-3.0.2-2-klte.img.tar using odin (through a virtual machine, on a linux host system). After successfully flashing the PDA the device rebooted. Also the Phone showed the progress bar during flashing. But when I turned it off and tried to get into recovery via pressing Vol-UP + Home Button it still booted into stock recovery. I flashed it again and again but still the same happens.
What is going on here??? Did someone experience the same problem? Does anyone have the Idea how to solve this?
EDIT: Same same with philz recovery
Volume up, home, and power button. Don't forget that one

Hey mate do the same process when you first flashing, but this time in Odin uncheck "auto reboot"...had this happen to me.
As long as the first part of the process is correct, enable development mode "usb debugging" On, shutdown phone, boot to download mode by pressing "Home + vol down" + "power button" then configure Odin as above.
Let em know how it goes, simple **** seems to be the most frustrating.
Hope it helps
Yayy! Unchecking Auto reboot did the trick for me!
I didn't know that the ROM replaces the recovery if it is not stock. Well, now I do. Thank you very much!

Kernel Panic Mode, Bixby (probably) defect and impossible to enter download mode

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to fix a broken S8 Exynos version of my friend.
The problem is he probably flashed some invalid files and everything messed up where I can only get kernel panic upload mode.
Here's what I've tried:
- Combination of POWER + VOL DOWN + BIXBY to get into download mode and flash the stock ROM. Doesn't work and we are guessing the Bixby button hardware is defect.
- When booting I get the Samsung logo with pink text in the top left. Then the screen goes to kernel panic mode. Restarting does the same and there seems to be no way to get into download mode.
- In Odin, the device COM port is recognized but flashing doesn't work. It is stuck at "setup connection" and does not advance at all.
I've installed the USB drivers, rebooted removed the battery and tried again, tried ADB but debugging is not enabled and nothing works. Is this phone useless without a Bixby button or is there a way to get into download mode???
Any advice would be welcome,
Thanks
Firstly make sure you are using the modded Odin for Oreo. Not using it causes that random stuff to happen. What you can try is plug the phone in via USB, Open up Odin and load your files, do the Download mode button combo and hopefully the COM Port calls and Odin grabs it and signals it. Good luck.
