2.- Flash rom and Banks Gapps
3.-Reboot
4.-The flash Super SU
5.- Here is when I get stuck in the boot animation.
Can anyone please help me, thank you

I was using the 2.45 version, I think there's the problem.
Do you recommend to install franco kernel first and then the Su or only the Su??

I would try just the SU first, see if your good, then do Franco if you want. I am keeping the stock kernel for awhile.

Hello there!
Does this ROM require any particular vendor to be flashed before flashing the system?

You need may vendor.
Done. Thank you!
Which gapps do you use?bank gapps?
Updating:
- Latest version of Paranoid Android comes with the Vendor file bundled in.
- Flash all in one go:
- PA
- GApps
- SuperSU 2.74-2 (I used this one)
Reboot and you're done.
Hi all also got the infinite/looping boot issue
I am using:
pa_angler-6.0.1-20160616-signed
banks_dynamic_gapps-6.x.x-20160701
UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.76-20160630161323
I have previously been using PureNexus without an issue but for some reason my phone is refusing to work with PA
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks

I don't know abt the kernel but I am loving this rom so far. No lags, the UI is perfect fit for the screen and loving some features like DND, IR etc..,
but the only thing missing is the gapps. We need to install separately i think. Loving the Internationalized weather widget too.

Ok there can be different reasons for this.
1.May be a bad download. Try downloading it again.
2.May be you did not clean flash it by wiping cache, system, data. Try wiping everything except internal storage and try again.
3.May be the recovery you are using doesn't support installing this rom. Try TWRP 2.6.3.0 I got it installed perfectly with that.
4.And finally the firmware which you are on. If it is GPE firmware then try switching to sense before flashing this. I had hell lot of problems with GPE firmware like unlocking the bootloader, installing the roms etc..,
May be these are not the reasons for your problem but just give it a try and report back

You get status 7 error only in three cases.
1.You edited the updater script in the rom
2.You did not download the rom properly.
3.Mainly you are not using the right recovery. Try using TWRP 2.6.3.0 or higher may be.

Hi
I'm looking for have only battery text percentage.
Can anyone help me?
Sad to report, not sure if its my setup or this version of this mod but after a clean factory images update from LMY7D to LMY47I this mod will no longer work for me. It would successfully flash from TWRP 2.8.6.0 but with no change after booting up. Anyone else having this issue? maybe an update is needed for this mod.

OMG! I got it to work! it was TWRP. Not sure why the mod was working for others on LMY47I but not for me. The only thing that I could think of was that when I updated to LMY47I I also updated TWRP from 2.8.5.3 to 2.8.6.0 and I flashed the mod with 2.8.6.0. Just to make sure I used Flashify to re-flash TWRP back to 2.8.5.3 and re-try flashing the mod and IT WORKED! :good:

Hey guys,
i have custom rom nexus pure
and i want to install franco kernel.
do i need to do somthing special before the install?
like wipe?
and another thing,in the post about the kernel it explain what to do according to your current verison of the kernel
"
If you're on a 100% stock device (stock rom + stock Kernel) or already on r8 or newer disregard the messages below and just flash - if not:
* If you're on stock rom + r7, or older, you should be flashing stock boot.img first, then r8, or newer;
* If you're on a custom rom + r7, or older, you should dirty flash the rom (or extract its boot.img and fastboot flash it) and then r8, or newer;
"
and i have just custom rom and havent the kernel so im not sure what to do.
thank you for helping
Are you with your custom rom kernel ?
If yes, then just flash fk and root (if you want to).

so you mean that i need to do these steps
1a. Download the latest Pure Nexus zip (pay attention to the version you choose) and your custom kernel if you have one onto your phone.
1b. If you are on the CMTE variant, it is a good idea to set your theme back to stock before dirty flashing. If you don’t and your theme looks wonky after flashing, try using this app.
2. Boot into TWRP and make a backup (remove any lock screen security before this, optional but HIGHLY recommended).
3. Wipe cache and dalvik cache (optional).
4. Flash Pure Nexus zip.
5. Update your vendor image (only need to do this once per build number).
6. Flash your custom kernel (optional).
7. Reboot and profit.
just with the kernel zip?
and if the answer is yes i need to update the vendor image again? i already did it when i install the rom.
thank for the help man it mean to me alot
No. all you need to do is go into twrp and install the kernel
THose are the install insructions for when you update the rom either via dirty or clean.
since you already have the ROM installed, just install the kernel in twrp and reboot.

So decided to flash stock and update to 7.1.1. Everything was going perfect until I grab the latest SuperSU from chainfires set install it in TWRP then reboot. I keep seeing the ZTE logo then it vibrates, reboots. It just keeps doing that
The version I just tried installing was: SR3-SuperSU-v2.79-SR3-20170114223742. Where are the versions that are compatible with Axon 7. Literally, everytime I install the latest version of the program it bootloops until I start all over. I remember that the Pixel phones had SuperSUs that were made for it. I am wondering does the same thing apply here? is there a confirmed one that works?
2.79, no sr.
which one sir? which one? ill buy you a cookie
@lafester Is there a known issue with SRx (SR3 is most current) not working properly on this device? Does forcing systemless root using the echo command resolve installation issues?

Of course you don't HAVE to flash a custom rom - just skip flashing rom + gapps and do everything else up to that point.
You could patch the boot image with Magisk Manager manually and flash it with fastboot too, but TWRP is probably easier.
