Hi,
I recovered my S7 Edge (SM-G935F) with new motherboard after having "Bootloader Exception".
Now, I have FC with some application like :
Phone
Messages / ChompSMS
CloudMagic
Contacts
Bluetooth in settings
I think the common point is : contact.
The application appears frozen and don't respond : if I wait -> FC.
If I reboot the phone : everything is working. Then a few minutes or hours : FC.
If an application freezes, all other listed are also blocked.
I restored the phone with Kies: nothing changed.
Without SD Card or SIM : same problem.
Unsync Googles contact : same problem.
Clear cache of frozen application : same problem.
Baseband : G935FXXU1APD1

hi
i get this message in mu note 3 sm-n900 :
unfortunately com.sec android.app.flashbarservice has stopped
so what is the problem?
i tried wipe cach and dalvic but nothing change
Not a 100% sure what it entails, however a quick Google Search reveals that an app called CleanMaster (which incidently I have installed also) seems to fix the issue with caching. Try it and see how it goes, if not we can look into something else.

Hi,
Defy Plus, running the 20150103 nigthly from Quarx. After one night of charging I found the phone asking for the sim PIN as if it has rebooted. I found out that the following were lost:
-all or almost all settings
-most (but not all) of the programs installed with GooglePlay
-GooglePlay itself.
I tried the following:
-reinstalled GApps
-installed a newer CM nightly: 20150117.
Other details
-contacts list (unsynchronised) and call history are OK
-sdcard seems to be OK, filemanager and gallery can access it
-messaging and some other programs crash on start-up
What could be the problem?
Additional details:
- Crashing messaging app says:
01-17 13:59:30.949: E/AndroidRuntime(3196): java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to instantiate application com.android.mms.MmsApp: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: Didn't find class "com.android.mms.MmsApp" on path: DexPathList[[zip file "/system/priv-app/Mms.apk"],nativeLibraryDirectories=[/vendor/lib, /system/lib]]
-I can also provide an strace; I didn't find anything useful inside (though I'm not an strace expert).

Probably solved
Messaging was solved by deleting the cache.
GoogleApps and stuff was solved by repeatedly installing different GApps from the internet. pa_gapps-modular-mini-4.4.4-20150117-signed.zip was the last one that finally gave back all functionality.
ever since i did the OxygenOS 2.2.0 update on my OP2 (android 5.1.1 build A2003_14_151211) , google messenger crashes as soon as I try to start it ... tried using google hangouts for SMS's but also crashes .. therefore I ended up without an SMS application which I need very much. Any idea please what I can do before I go for the factory reset path
Try to clear cache from recovery and settings and reboot. Used to happen with my phone app. This worked for me.

Have you updated android system web view.just uninstall the update and see the difference.if the problem persist you must format the device and do not update the android system web view.
i cleared cache from Reboot > Recovery option ... i did uninstall the web view update ... i even tried uninstall the google messenger update ... but problem still persists ... I did the factory reset two days ago and also problem persists ... cannot use any of these services ... google messenger (for SMS's), hangouts, contacts icon, phone icon .... all with same behavior.. when opening application, it crashes and closes instantly therefore will not let you be able to use the application

Hey! There is definitely no problem with the Android System Webview, I suggest (unfortunately) flashing TWRP, reflashing full OxygenOS 2.2.0 zip and a factory reset! Believe me it will fix all your problems!

I haven't advice to uninstall the web view.I only said that don't update webview and if you updated web view than uninstall the update.
Web view is a must app for android system.without it many Google apps will crash.
I was getting a looping "Unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped" error on my Red Hydrogen One. Tried the remedies I found with a quick Google search (disable automatic date and time, disable auto-download updates, clear cache and data from the "Phone" and SIM toolkit applications in settings), none of them worked.
The solution? Put a valid SIM in it. This phone really doesn't like being SIM-less or with an expired/cancelled SIM. This is ridiculous. Haven't had a phone that requires a valid SIM to work since the days of the Sharp GX30i.
If anyone has a better solution, please post below.
Recently I had this problem and I was resolve it. I think by delete a specific cache folder thru adb.
Now, ( when I tried to put the sim card in the neffosY5L) I'm facing the same problem and I'm trying to find out what I had done.
